Amazing gun, but only for big people.

ok.. i just recived this gun a week ago from amazon. I have been testing out the gun in my back yard, but have not used it in a real game yet. Now this gun is beast... but there are some faults. the gun is a heavy 4.5 pounds and after an hour of game time it feels like 20. The gun also takes a substantial amount of force to pump. I'd say that if your not over 14..then you will have trouble cocking the gun over and over. I am a strong kid and I still have trouble pumping it, but that just goes to show the sheer power of the gun. The gun uses shells as magazines and this is a nice touch. The shells are exact plastic replicas of real m3 shells and although it might take more time to reload, it is worth it. The great thing about this shotgun is simple: it IS A SHOTGUN. It does not just look like one. It actually shoots 3 bbs at a time. The spread of these bbs is not too wide and not too close either. You should be able to get a head shot from 50-60 feet away. The gun shoots a powerful 330 fps. So here are the pros and cons of the gun

pros: the gun shoots 330 fps

the gun fires 3 bbs at a time

it is not a huge gun but is deffinitly not small.

the spread of the bbs is just right

extremely good quality and very good materials

amazing sturdy feel

cons: the gun is a hefty 4.5 pounds and that is heavy.

the pump action of the gun is dificult

shells are nice but they take a long time to relaod.

range of the gun is not amazing, but stll good.

there are no rails so there isnt a place to mount anything

so over all i recomend this gun to strong individuals and to use in close quater combat. It is a great gun and the only draw back is the pump.

OK, I have seen alotta things on the battlefield, and alotta different high prices toys that guys with a lot more money than I have bring out. So the other day I ran up against one of these, and I got whipped. I was tired, frustrated, VERY well peppered by BB's, and all I could think about was HOW DO I GET ONE??

Airsoft miniguns are a big, heavy, and expensive addition to the plethora of choices in your airsoft arsenal. Personally I think an ‘armored’ golf cart, an Echo 1 Airsoft Minigun, and about 50,000 rounds would be a fun way to roll onto the battlefield.

Has anyone else seen one of these first hand (or SHOT ONE??) What did you think?

despues de estar dias ausente ...he hecho otra pequeña entrevista:

Especificaciones:

m14 cyma 32

Marca: cyma

Gearbox/motor: Metal

Potencia: 380 fps

Alcanze: 80 metros

Accesorios: n/a

Precio: 225 dolares (al mal cambio 450 mil pesos colombianos )

Comentarios De Phobos:

Yes, I know, I've kept you waiting. Keep your shirts on guys and gals. Here's the skinny on what's coming up.

First, I've finally got my hands on a Dboys SCAR-L. I've toyed with it a bit, and will skirmish with it this weekend. Then expect a full write up end of next week, or beginning of the week after. At the same time I'll be starting my 100% AEG article. I'll build this Chinese clone into an AEG that can run at 100% (meaning the drive train and all it's bits), without overtaxing any one part. I've got high hopes for this AEG, as I've already hooked it up to a Li-Poly battery and it's working well out of the gate. I'll prove once and for all, that you don't have to spend an arm and a leg to build a strong AEG, but that craftsmanship and choice of parts is where it's at. I'll even keep a dollar amount going to keep you guys happy. This series will probably be released one segment at a time given the number of items we must look at (as opposed to one big article).

Back to the Li-Poly thing again. I hooked a 7.4v lipo to my SCAR (2200mAh 30C) and tested the ROF. NO INCREASE. That means that there is something limiting the RPM. Oh wait... I bet you it's the motor. Proof that high current batteries don't push motors harder, but that the motor determines the amount of current needed. Power people it's all about power!

Okay, back on track. I also have news from Vanaras and RSOV.Com. They are shipping me an assortment of Vanaras parts (mainly grenade shells) to test. Awesome! I'll be looking forward to that. In fact, as my 40mm shell collection increases in size, I'll be testing them in a head to head bout; testing fps, ease of use, capacity of gas, construction, and durability. So keep your eyes out for that.

Hang in there folks. As the year begins to wind down, I'll have lots of goodies for you!

Historical Perspective

One of the significant lessons the Israelis took from their victory in the 1967 “Six Day War” was that they needed a new type of small arms family for their ground forces. The FN FALs they had been using proved too susceptible to the harsh, dusty Middle Eastern environment and the intense tempo of operations the IDF conducted. On the other hand, they had noticed that the Kalashnikovs of their adversaries seemed ideally suited to the situation.

As the Soviet Union and her satellites were hardly going to change their geo-political strategies or their military-economic policies, equipping the IDF with Kalashnikovs was out of the question. So instead, the Israelis turned to neutral Finland for help - and got it in the shape of blank lower receivers and manufacturing specs and equipment for the Finnish-made variant of the Kalashnikov known as the RK62 produced by Valmet.

From this the Israelis produced a rifle in 5.56 x 45mm calibre (to take advantage of readily available US ammunition, and to have compatibility with the surplus M16s they were also stating to receive from the US). The Galil is an evolutionary rather than revolutionary design - but the whole was definitely greater than the sum of its parts, and the final weapon was actually something of a revolution.

Starting with the modified lower receiver, the chief designer, Yisrael Galili - hence “Galil”, added a Valmet-style upper receiver with better sights and a longer sight radius than a standard AK (the sights consist of a rear peep sight and a hooded front post sight, with pop-up Tritrium night sights), he then changed the charging handle to a vertical post style that can be operated with either hand, he also added a secondary selector lever on the left-hand side of the pistol grip that can be operated with the thumb of the right hand, at the back end he used the folding tubular stock from the FN FAL Para version, and at the front used an enlarged U-shaped fore-grip with internal heat shield (later versions used fibreglass instead of wood). The ARM version of the Galil also features an integral folding bipod with a built-in wire cutter and bottle opener, plus a collapsible carrying handle from the FN FAL light support weapon.

Development of the Galil had begun shortly after the 1967 war and its final delivery to the IDF was interrupted and delayed by the 1973 Yom Kippur War. Because of the geo-political fallout from the ’73 war - i.e., the US agreeing to re-arm Israel and also to guarantee her future survival and re-supply - the Israelis also began to receive large numbers of low-cost surplus M16s from the US. As it was cheaper to take the surplus US M16s than it was to manufacture enough Galils to equip the IDF, the Galil ended up not seeing the wide-spread use that it should have in the IDF.

Nonetheless, several versions of the Galil still soldier on today in the IDF and it has also found a home in the armies of quite a few foreign nations as well, such as: Columbia, Estonia, India, Portugal and South Africa (the licensed R4 series), and several others.

A skirmishable airsoft Galil - at last!

It was at the Weekend of Heroes event over in California last year that I first discovered TSI Armories and their plans to manufacture the most authentic and realistic airsoft replica Galil in the world.

They only had a pre-production SAR model prototype without a functioning internal mechanism at the show, but it was enough to get me very excited. Skip ahead a year and suddenly the Galil seems to have become the next big thing (or at least, a rather significant thing) in the airsoft world. There was a time when the only option for the die-hard Galil aficionado would be to try and track down one of the high-pressure air powered classic airsoft models of the pre-“automatic electric gun” era. Then along came the expensive body kits from the likes of Inokatsu - which, whilst high quality, aren’t entirely authentic and also require the guts from a donor gun. Other kits (such as the Action Micro Galil) appeared as well, and even some limited numbers of full Galil ARMs from the likes of Avalon and ICS.

But until last year, nobody produced a complete, authentic Galil AEG (let alone the SAR variant that I wanted). TSI Armories are a bunch of ex-IDF guys based in southern California who passionately felt that the market deserved better. So they set out to do something about it. Within a few months after the Weekend of Heroes event the first fully-assembled Galil ARM, SAR and MAR models began to rollout of TSI’s manufacturing plant…and rather nice they are too.

First Impressions

The first things you notice when you pick up a TSI Galil are the quality of the materials and construction, and the weight. No surprise really as these two things are closely related on this replica - and they both come from the fact that it makes quite extensive use of “real-steel” Galil parts. The parts inherited from its real-world brother include; reinforced nylon folding stock, receiver cover and rear-sight assembly, front hand-guard (complete with original internal heat shield/reflector!) and the front sight/gas block assembly. In addition, the trigger guard and magazine release catch and the fire selector lever (right-hand side) also appear to be real-deal parts too! Finally, the barrel assembly is a solid metal rod drilled out to accept the airsoft inner barrel - with a specially-manufactured flash hider stuck on the end as well.

That leaves just the fake gas tube, the lower receiver, the left-hand fire selector switch and the pistol grip which are airsoft-only parts. However, that doesn’t mean that their quality is any less impressive, especially the lower receiver - specifically designed for the airsoft internal mechanism - which is machined from a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminium and finished to an exceedingly high level. In fact if anything, it is too good - as the real-deal parts don’t match its finish. But this is a small fault in such a package of overall goodness. It goes without saying of course that the airsoft lower receiver cannot be fitted to a real-steel Galil, and vice-versa, and also that it is impossible to convert any airsoft gun to fire real ammunition.

So basically what you have in your hands looks like a Galil, feels like a Galil, weighs like a Galil, handles like a Galil, and even smells like a Galil. The only significant difference is that this one shoots BBs instead of bullets! The fact that you can also customise the one you order with different power, barrel and battery options means that you really get the airsoft Galil of your dreams.

How does it perform?

All TSI Armories Galils use Version 3 airsoft mech-boxes, so that means you’re going to get something that works well and uses standard parts that you can get from any airsoft retailer. That’s an important consideration - there are few things more frustrating in airsoft than having a proprietary mech-box on your hands if something breaks!

I ordered my Galil with a tight-bore inner barrel and an M110 spring (which means the mechanism will propel a .20 gram plastic BB at 110 metres per second, or approximately 350 feet per second). The tight-bore barrel gives better accuracy and more consistent velocities. There are various other options available as well.

Having used mine at several skirmishes over the past few months I have been very happy with its performance. The mechanism functions smoothly and consistently (it even sounds like “quality”), accuracy and range are excellent (especially once I got the hop-up unit adjusted just right and then locked into position), and I haven’t experienced any problems with misfeeds either - using King Arms AK74 mid-cap magazines.

Accuracy-wise, the performance is pretty good too. Using the air rifle standard of 10 metres range, indoors, prone-unsupported firing position I obtained the following results – with open iron sights, unaltered from factory settings:

§ Semi-auto, aimed, 5 round group: 4.5 x 4.5cm spread

§ Full-auto, aimed, 5-round burst: 5.5 x 5.3cm spread

Like all AEGs, you have to have the selector lever/switch placed in exactly the right position in order for the mechanism to function - and I’ve found the best way to do this with the Galil is to rely on placing the large right-hand selector lever into the appropriate notch. The left-hand selector switch does work - but it doesn’t provide such a solid and reliable placement of the selector as using the right-hand lever does. I’ve also found that it is best to go back to the SAFE position first if switching between the SEMI and AUTO positions. Other than those little idiosyncrasies, it has performed flawlessly.

The battery capacity is limited to nothing bigger than an 1100 MaH stick battery - and it is a bit of a tight squeeze to get the battery in, but once you’ve practiced it a couple of times it becomes straightforward and easy. I ordered mine with the smaller profile Deans connectors, and I’m glad I did as I think it would be quite a tight fit to use the more common style of connectors inside the tightly packed receiver.

As with most AK replicas, the stick battery slots partially into the gas tube assembly and lays across the top of the internals, in the place where the gas piston operating rod and upper part of the bolt would be on a real one. Its also best to have a spare battery with you when you go skirmishing, as I’ve found that I typically have to change to a fresh one just over half-way through the day.

Maintenance

One last note about the TSI Armouries Galil: In addition to the usual recommended AEG maintenance procedures, you’ll need to treat this one much more like a real firearm in terms of its external care and maintenance. What I mean by that is that because of all the steel parts, rust could become an issue - so make sure you keep these parts clean and well-cared-for with a light coat of machine oil. Hey, its all part of the fun experience of owning such a highly realistic airsoft gun!

Conclusions

So, are there any downsides you ask? Well, yes. All this goodness doesn’t come cheap - but if you do the math, it actually comes out less expensive than an AEG based on a Inokatsu kit when all is said and done - plus this baby is a 100% authentic replica made by ex-IFDers. The other downsides are that TSI don’t yet make any proper Galil-style airsoft magazines for it, so you have to rely on AK74 mags or the less accurate Inokatsu Galil mags (if you can find them!). Another niggle is that the left-hand fire selector doesn’t actually work as well as one would hope and that limits the benefit of having the ambidextrous safety in my opinion.

The issues with the magazines and selector switch/lever aren’t insurmountable by any means though. In fact, TSI have already provided work-arounds in the shape of two rather clever accessories. The first is a modified right-hand selector lever which features an extension - of the type commonly seen now on SOPMOD AKs - and the second is a magwell adapter that allows the use of NATO STANAG M16/M4 type magazines. I haven’t yet had a chance to test either of these, but the magwell adapter in particular looks rather good - like the lower receiver, it is machined from a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminium and looks solid enough to even be used in a real-steel Galil or Valmet. In fact, I understand that such magwell adapters are in use in the real world.

But even without these clever accessories, none of these “niggles” would be a deal-breaker in my view, and the TSI Galil will have to rank as one of the most unique and rugged (and therefore skirmishable) airsoft replicas ever built. In fact, my other airsoft “rifles” feel rather thin and delicate in comparison.

But in the final analysis, the premium price point and limited production run will be the primary factors that will keep this AEG securely nestled in the realms of “a gun for the aficionado”, rather becoming a weapon for the masses - but that seems to be just where TSI Armories want it to be. And that’s okay by me.

More info about the full range of TSI’s offerings can be found on their website: www.tsi-armories.com, including news about their upcoming Tavor replica - which I hope to be able to review as soon as possible!

Bad pre-upgrade claim
This gun is claimed to be pre-upgraded with an M120 spring and no other intern

Bad pre-upgrade claim

This gun is claimed to be pre-upgraded with an M120 spring and no other internal upgrades besides a 'reinforced' gearbox, which im guessing is a standard cast iron V2. This M120 spring will break your gearbox faster than anything without proper internal upgrades that can handle the spring. First of all, you would need a high torque motor ($60), and a 9.6V battery, which they neglect to improve. Without these, you will run the 8.4V out in less than an hour, and have very sluggish fire, as reported above. Next, you will need reinforced metal bushings to handle stress on gears. You will also need a metal spring guide, and a reinforced polycarb or metal piston and piston head. You will also need a reinforced cylinder head.

The total of these upgrades will be more than $100. HiT just sells the M120 spring while neglecting the important coinciding upgrades. You're gun will die within a few weeks if you buy this gun and neglect further internal upgrades.

does the m4 justice!

There are way to many m type guns out there that are down right crap. double eagle, cyma, both elephant. those are just a few of the brand name crappers that are sold tairsoft players in high hopes that it'll be something special. Jg/gb/echo1 make excellent guns. right now im in the process of buying a jg mp5 NAVY. i do my research and ive found out that this gun tops marui's 4 s system. ive done comparison shopping and stat review. if only by a little bit this gun beats the marui m4 s system. i think by only paying 150 dollars for a jg thats better than a marui that is 360 dollars you beat the system.

Here is my review of the gun.

pros:

the gun is verry accurate by test fire. it has a high percentage of target hit which is surprising for such a small barrel length.

4 rail ris which leaves me room for my sling mount, my foregrip, my scope, my laser and my 3 point strope led light.

most of the gun is metal. at least all the frame work for it is. the gearbox, the mag house, stock bar, debris shield for the hop up system.

all plastic on the gun is not cheap by any means. thicker than the metal and holds it's own against concrete and dirt.

it's heavy and stable for those of you who like a comfortable weight it weighs in at 10 pounds.

comes with some goodies that would normally cost 15 to 30 dollars each. ie 3point tacticle sling, tactical foregrip.

here's the cons

cons:

my debris shield came witha broken clip so it's just a debris flap with no purpose.

the cocking bar on the back has a little tiny metal pin that holds the lon on the bar and if you're not careful, when you pull it back it might fall out. then you're screwed.

the crane stock on the back is wobble as well as the magazine house.

the front folding sight isnt adjustable so if your ris is cockieyed then so is your sight. and since the rear sight is fixed into place the sights are virtually useless

even though the barrel is interchangable with aftermarket products, the copper tubing is not renforced so if in the process of removing and changing your barell the copper projectile tube is bent or crushed somehow, your interchangeable barrel(s) are now useless as well. you now have a gun with a tiny nub at the end. congratulations.

overall i have to give this gun a 5 out of 5. even though there are some problems with it, there is no perfect gun. not even marui. not to mention about 70 percent of the other guns on the market dont hold hair to this one. good job jg. i look forward to writing a review on the jg mp5 full metal NAVY gun i will be ordering next week. cheers everyone.

Perlu pasukan seperti ini di film anda? Airsofter siap membantu!

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="506" caption="Jaman dulu, tampilan segini aja udah lumayan 'wah'. Sekarang ngelihatnya cupu banget."][/caption]

[caption id="attachment_174" align="aligncenter" width="480" caption="Harus rewel soal detil, supaya tampilan jadi meyakinkan."][/caption]
[caption id="attachment_175" align="aligncenter" width="480" caption="Dari angle manapun tampak real, kalau team-nya mengerti otentisitas."][/caption]

HFC M92 Spring Airsoft Gun
Good Gun
It is an EXCELLENT gun, but it is not meant to be dropped. As long as it isn't dropped you should have no problems. It is VERY accurate and hurts A LOT. It is amazingly good for indoor fights. I suggest buying this gun.

-Modo semi y full auto.
