Una revisión  de la misma historia, lleva a cuestionar  su objetividad, verosimilitud y linealidad porque la narratividad, elemento transmisor es por naturaleza subjetivo.  El que escribe está viendo desde su punto de vista,  uno afectado no sólo por la interpretación sino por el paso del tiempo y el efecto que esto tiene en la memoria.   La literatura parece más consciente de esa realidad.  No tiene que pretender ser objetiva porque está consciente de que en esencia es ficción.  Ello le permite retomar personajes o eventos históricos y de  alguna manera ser más “real” u “objetiva” al proporcionar al lector distintos puntos de vista que al menos le  proporcionan una visión más completa y más compleja de la realidad.  Se  llama a  esta escritura o esta forma de ver la escritura, “historiografía metaficticia.”  Se clasifica  a novelas que retoman  eventos históricos y con ciertas convenciones estilísticas como parte de  estas obras historiográficas.  En este texto se analiza como Pedro Páramo de Juan Rulfo,  y  Antonia  de María Luisa Puga, son textos que pueden ser analizados con esta mirada.

Pedro Páramo se apropia de parte de la Revolución Mexicana, el movimiento cristero, la actitud de la iglesia y el abandono de los pueblos después de la Revolución, eventos reales  y de personajes prototípicos como el cacique representado en Pedro Páramo, el padre Rentería y algunos participantes ordinarios de la Revolución.  La obra presenta varios puntos de vista al tener muchos narradores.  A través de las voces de muchos de los personajes se conocen  otros de ellos. Además esta imagen se va completando porque se hace referencia a distintos periodos. Por ejemplo,  la historia de Pedro Páramo como niño, luego como joven que empieza a adquirir poder y finalmente como el cacique dueño de La Media Luna  es contada por varios personajes incluyéndolo a él mismo.  La historia de Susana San Juan se relata por algunos muertos que la ven en su tumba, por  Eduviges, por Pedro y por ella misma.  Por otro lado, esta variedad de narradores también nos presenta una visión distinta de la realidad.  La “ Comala” de Dolores Preciado es muy diferente a la que encuentra su hijo y la que le pertenece a los personajes que viven ahí y que por ser sus pobladores la perciben tan diferente.  Así, vemos a una “Comala” idílica y a una infernal, a una llena de vida y a otra llena de muerte.  Por otro lado,  Juan Preciado es un narrador  que no está seguro de nada.  A la par de él, el lector se va enredando en una historia que intuye pero que en principio no logra comprender.  La duda de Juan Preciado llega a tal punto que ni siquiera sabe quién está vivo y quién muerto. 

            El recuerdo como reconstrucción de lo sucedido, otra característica de estos textos, se manifiesta en personajes como Dolores Preciado, Pedro Páramo, Susana y Dorotea.  Ellos evocan el pasado como algo ideal, lo poetizan y así le dan el significado que quieren.  Por otro lado, está incluso lo que callan como Susana y la relación con su padre. Ella se refugia en el ideal de su esposo muerto.  Finalmente, esta obra trabaja con ciertas convenciones literarias que se subvierten tales como el título Pedro Páramo para una novela que no cuenta sólo la vida de Pedro sino muchas otras.  La novela tiene como las regionalistas usa los nombres de los personajes para que el lector relacione el nombre con la caracterización, sin embargo, algunos nombres son contradictorios como “Fulgor” para un hombre que representa oscuridad en vez de luz.

            Antonia,  por su parte, es una novela con tintes biográficos.  El principal motivo para verla desde este punto de vista es que la voz narrativa está consciente de la ficción que representa la escritura.  Ella está a través de su narración, resignificando eventos que sucedieron hace muchos años y que en ese momento no lograba comprender.  A la vez, sabe que el paso del tiempo, la idealización y otras vivencias le hacen percibir ese pasado de otra manera.  En este caso es muy evidente que  el recuerdo como reconstrucción no es equivalente al evento.

            Desde este punto de vista,  ambos escritores mexicanos están cuestionando la legitimidad de la historia, con una actitud más que crítica o ensayista, revisionista.  Están proponiendo nuevas alternativas para enriquecer la historia y la realidad.  Su propuesta consiste en el rescate de las voces ordinarias y cotidianas más que las de los grandes personajes.  Proporcionan una visión más humana de la historia porque es subjetiva, emotiva, muy expresiva en su lenguaje y mucho menos rígida al otorgar distintos puntos de vista,  juegos con el tiempo, narradores humanizados y dudosos más que omniscientes: dioses omnipresentes. Esta forma de escribir rescata más que los eventos, la forma en la que la gente sintió, percibió y vio dichos eventos.

O Festival Internacional de Curtas-Metragens de São Paulo, que acontece a partir desta sexta-feira [22.08.2008] em 11 salas da cidade, reservou espaço para os pequenos em sua programação. A mostra infantil, composta por oito produções brasileiras, uma inglesa e uma turca, tem como um dos destaques o brasileiro "Diário de Emília", de Tata Amaral ("Antonia").

A maior atração, no en­tanto, está fora da tela: a animação inglesa "A Maldição da Pedra da Ca­veira" [foto] (Mostra Infantil 1), que será exibida sábado [23.08.2008], às 15h, na Cinemateca (região sul da capital paulista), terá dublagem ao vivo --realizada por atores caracterizados como os personagens.

In 2003 I discovered a band called Alkaline Trio. They were this emo band with cool, dark lyrics that I was stoked with. Matt Skiba and Dan Andriano complemented one another with their voices. Matt's voice was a little vicious, and Dan was more of a crooner than anything. This year they released Agony & Irony, and there's one track that always makes me happy. It's called Love Love, Kiss Kiss. It's awesome. Dan's singing will make you smile, and Matt's soaring background vocals will give you goose bumps. I figure if I could write a bad boy like that I'd have ladies flocking to me. More so than they already are. Listen and it'll make sense.

In grade 7 when I first played Tony Hawk's Pro Skater on the Nintendo 64, the first song on the playlist was called Superman, and it was by a band called Goldfinger. This was my first taste of the doings of John Feldmann, who I've since become infatuated with (his music and production, that is). Anyway, Goldfinger is one of my favorite bands, and this year they put out an album called Hello Destiny, which I love. Anyway, there's one song called If I'm Not Right and I believe that this song is a guarantee to put anybody into a good mood. It's impossible not to smile while listening. John's voice sounds flawless, and the horn section is one of the reasons I love John's band.

Sometimes when I'm tired in the morning I like to play music that really wakes me up, and encourages me to take the day by its horns and ride it until the sun goes down. There's one song in particular that does this for me: Call To Arms by Angels & Airwaves. Sure, Tom's lyrics are out there, but that doesn't take away from the anthemic quality of the song. My favorite part is the bridge, around the 4 minute mark, 'cause Tom does this thing where he yells part of the chorus and it's so harmonious that it gives me the chills every time I listen to the song. Also, try cruising down the highway as fast as you can (preferably towards the sunset), with the windows down and the music at capacity. You'll get the full experience. In the words of Rivers Cuomo, "If you don't like it, you can shove it. But you don't like it, you love it." And, if this song doesn't make you want to march around in your underwear, then I guess you'll never get to experience such a pleasure.

Last fall I was watching the Seth Rogen episode of SNL and there was a band called Spoon who was set to perform. Little did I know that Spoon would be so good that I'd buy their album Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga almost nine months later. It wasn't that it took me that long to buy it, it's that I forgot about their performance and that I saw them again on a rerun and remembered how good they were. Yeah, so, Spoon sounded great and one song, The Underdog, was the little beast that hooked me. This song has horn sections, handclaps, and acoustic guitars. Delish. What more could you want?

If there's one exceptionally rad thing about Rock Band it's that it's got Welcome Home by Coheed & Cambria. Huge guitars and gang vocals are the perfect ingredients for a night of drinking in your friend's basement. Trust me, I'd know.

Perhaps one of my favorite bands out there right now, The Matches of Oakland, California, know how to write superlative music. This is one band where no two songs on any of their records sound the same. If you were to buy any of these songs or albums I've discussed here, I think that A Band In Hope is the one you should own. It's perfect. The opener, AM Tilts, is beautiful. The lyrics and guitars do something to me that not very many bands can. I'm not sure what it is, but that's why this song is so magical.

Another thing I like about music is how it sometimes makes you feel warm inside, and in the case of Bloc Party's I Still Remember that is exactly what happens. The guitar riffs soar, and the rhythm is perfectly suited. Bloc Party is without a doubt my favorite musical export out of the United Kingdom, and I'm stoked that they're coming to my hometown in a little less than a month. I Still Remember is very atmospheric in tone, and although Kele's lyrics may be about a guy, this is still a timeless love song.

Remember Mr. Feldmann? Well, he produced this song, and the record it's found on. The song: Navigate Me. The Band: Cute Is What We Aim For. This song just sounds awesome. It's about doin' the sex, and that's why I love it.

This song doesn't rhyme at all during the verses, but the lyrics are so much fun that it doesn't even matter. Justin Pierre is one of the best lyricists in the alternative music scene right now, and I think he's a genius. Just take a look at his hair. Motion City Soundtrack is an excellent band that everybody should know about. Commit This To Memory is one of my all time favorite records and I think you should give Motion City Soundtrack a chance. So, the song is called Antonia, and it's one of catchiest tracks on the record, Even If It Kills Me. If some band can mention Indiana Jones and Annie Hall in the same song, it's Motion City Soundtrack.

I'll make this an even 10, so this is my last choice. I loved this song last summer, and this summer is no exception. The song is called Woe, and the man behind the music is Max Bemis of Say Anything. Max is truly a virtuoso, and I feel privileged to be listening to his music. This song kicks a million asses, and if you don't think it's catchy you've got something seriously wrong with your ears.

Als darrers minuts, a "Sans i sons" se li ha demanat a cada entrevistat una fórmula per a viure més sans, físicament i espiritualment, i uns sons que ens puguin acompanyar en la recerca d'aquesta felicitat. Les músiques triades conformen una banda sonora ben curiosa i interessant. El primer convidat de la temporada que finalitza avui va ser el professor Francesc Bujosa. Ningú més va elegir, com la música de la seva vida, una cançó amb història: “Grândola, Vila Morena” de José Afonso, símbol de la Revolució dels Clavells (1974). Els concerts d’Afonso mai no es podien celebrar per complet perquè la dictadura portuguesa de Salazar i Caetano en censurava cançons.

D’això també en podrien parlar cantautors com Lluís Llach (“Itaca” va ser l'elecció de l'arqueòleg Ferran Tarongí, “País petit” la de la periodista d'IB3 Ràdio Marta Vives, i “Laura” la de la també periodista Margalida Socies), Paco Ibáñez (“Las coplas a la muerte de su padre”, varen ser elegides per Maximino Forés), Ramon Muntaner (el filòleg Joan Melià escollí el seu “Ball dels cent mil diumenges”), o Jaume Sisa (“Qualsevol nit pot sortir el sol” fou un desig de l’historiador Sebastià Serra). Però, sens dubte, la cançó més triada pels entrevistats ha estat “Mediterráneo” de Joan Manuel Serrat; és la favorita de l’agrònom Pere Miralles, de l’arxivera d’Eivissa Fanny Tur, de l’astrofísic Guillem Anglada, i de Pau Dolç, director general adjunt de Sa Nostra.

Un altre cantautor, Bob Dylan, ens contà què és que hi ha “Blowin’ in the wind” que li agrada al forner Josep Magraner. L’economista menorquí Alfons Méndez s’estima més “So long”, de Simon & Garfunkel. Leonard Cohen sonà amb “Suzanne” per a la llibretera Marian Colom i “The partisan” per al doctor Toni Mesquida. Difícil de catalogar és un cantant i compositor irlandès que té una especial relació amb Mallorca, que vé de molt enrere: Van Morrison; sonà per desig de Miquel Serra, director de DdB, i del Dr. Xavier Morano. “Sex machine” de James Brown va ser elegida per Xavier Bennàssar. El músic Joan Bibiloni seleccionà “My song” del pianista de jazz Keith Jarrett; el periodista Javier Mato, la “Garota de Ipanema” de Vinicius de Moraes; i Jaume Sansó, batle de Vilafranca, una cançó de Diana Krall, qui per cert actuarà a Mallorca a principis d’agost.

El filòsof Lluís Pujades va elegir “For no one” de Paul Mc Cartney; el periodista esportiu Pau Pons, “Baby Jean” de Rod Stewart; el vicerrector de la UIB Cels Garcia, un cançó d’U2; el cantant Cris Joanico, “Semilla negra” de Radio Futura; el regatista Jordi Calafat, una de R.E.M.; el galerista Joan Antoni Horrach, un tema d’Antony and the Johnsons; la pintora Antònia Vicens, “Per a tu” de Ja t’ho diré; i el biòleg Pere Oliver, “Wa Yeah" de Batiscafo Katiuskas d’Antònia Font, grup guardonat recentment amb el Premi Nacional de Música 2008 de la Generalitat de Catalunya.

El flamenc també ha tengut el seu raconet a El Crepuscle i s'escoltà Camarón i Paco de Lucía (que arribaren a enregistrar plegats 10 discs) per a cloure l’entrevista amb l’agent musical Juan Montalvo. Una cançó de Chambao fou triada per l’infermer Toni Linares.  Així mateix sonà una mica d’òpera: una ària d’Els pescadors de perles de Georges Bizet, cantada per Beniamino Gigli, va ser elegida per la soprano Joana Llabrés, mentre que l’actor Joan Carles Bestard s’estimà més “Nessun Dorma” de Turandot, l’òpera de Giacomo Puccini. I més música clàssica: “La nit transfigurada” d’ Arnold Schönberg va ser triada per l’arquitecte i pintor José Luis Pujol; el mestre Joan Sans va dur “La simfonia de les juguetes” (atribuïda a Leopold Mozart); el pianista Andreu Riera, una polonesa de Frederic Chopin; l’esperantista Xavier Margais, una peça de Peer Gynt d’Edvard Grieg; el director de cor Carles Ponsetí, un fragment de la cantata Membra Jesu Nostri de Dietrich Buxtehude; Rosa Bueno, un adagio de Tomasso Albinoni; el lingüista Juan Carlos Moreno, el “Canon” de Johann Pachelbel, i el violoncelista Lluís Claret, “El cant dels ocells”.

Jo no sé si ha estat per fer la bona al director d’aquest programa, però als darrers mesos “Sans i sons” ha acabat sovint sospitosament amb música de Johan Sebastian B A C H . “La passió segons Sant Joan”, va ser l'elecció de mossèn Llorenç Lladó; “Tocata i fuga”, la de l'intel·lectual Miquel Pons; “La missa en si menor”, la del poeta i periodista Miquel Cardell; “La passió segons Sant Mateu”, la del actor i director teatral Josep Maria Flotats; i “Les variacions Goldberg”, la del músic Joan Valent (aquí en veim la interpretació de Glenn Gould, 1981)

Després del descans estival, EL CREPUSCLE ENCÉN ESTELS tornarà a IB3 Ràdio, dilluns 1 de setembre.
