The text message was delivered late after a "media leak" and the rest of the world found out before you did.

BO just wanted your cell phone number for a huge database he's gathering.

Congratulations - you bought into BO's assertions that "you're special" by giving out your cell phone numbers to get Obama  news first - well - you just fed into the huge cell phone database he's keeping on YOU.

It's all about Obama -- not you.

After the veto ceremony, a glib Dan joined allies Keesha and Memphis in the yard, saying, "You wanna make an omelet, you gotta break a few eggs." But in this BB cooking lesson, the broken eggs were looking for some immediate payback. An incensed Ollie rallied troops Michelle and Jerry and went on the offensive, calling Dan out in front of the houseguests.

Ollie thought he could trip Dan up by revealing the details of their HoH deal, but didn't realize that the rest of the house already knew what went down. "Dan is a plant!" Ollie ranted. "He's lied about the entire game!" Michelle added her two cents, revealing that Dan had played her into naming Keesha as her replacement nominee. With tempers flaring, the high school football coach pulled a new page out of his HoH playbook and walked away.

"Let the chaos ensue," Dan said, safely inside the house and away from group. And ensue it did.

Ollie seemed shocked that the rest of the house wasn't up in arms when he told them about the deal until Memphis stood up and said, "Ollie, what makes you think we didn't know that?"

Monop-Ollie Takes His Anger Out On The BB House
Ollie decided to go straight to the source of his frustration, cornering Dan in the HoH bedroom and demanding an answer to the universal query, "Why you play me for a fool?" before angrily adding, "You embarrassed me in front of millions!"

Dan, ever-cool, defended himself by stating the simple, but profound BB truism, "It's a game, that's all I can tell you."

Ollie, most likely realizing that he had been bested, then cracked wise, asking Dan, with more than a hint of menace, "You like to play games, man? You could have stayed home and played Monopoly."

But Monopoly is played with funny money, Ollie, and the winner of BB walks with half a million.

Ollie stormed out and focused his anger on the inanimate objects of the BB house, dashing a dish across the kitchen floor and then moving onto the BB lawn, where he interspersed angry rants with busting up potted plants and light fixtures.

Julie Drops The Double Eviction Bomb
Ollie used his confessional time to call Dan, "the biggest snake in the game," while Michelle was so incensed that every other word out of her mouth had to be bleeped-out, making it nearly impossible to know what she was saying.

With Ollie fuming and Michelle weeping, perennial eviction nominee Jerry laid out his plan for surviving another week on the chopping block. "My plan," the Colonel said in his confessional, "is to do, and say, absolutely nothing. I feel that Michelle will probably self-desruct."

With the eviction ceremony about to take place, host Julie dropped the bomb, shocking the houseguests with the news that two players were to be sent to the jury house.

Eviction Ceremony: Part One
Keesha, Memphis and a reluctant Renny followed the game plan set by Dan and a teary-eyed Michelle was sent packing. "I love all you guys," she said on her way out. The love would only last so long. As soon as Michelle walked the short BB gangplank to host Julie, her anger towards Dan reared its ugly head. "He basically wants to make a fool out of everyone in the house," she said of the reigning HoH. "He tried to say 'sorry' to me afterward, but he can take his 'sorry', and put it, you know where."

HoH Competition: BB Headlines
This competition to be the next HoH was surprisingly simple. The contestants had to decide which imaginary headline voted on by the public best fit the remaining houseguest. The player with the most points after seven questions would be crowned the new HoH.

After seven questions, Keesha and Jerry were the last two standing, setting the diametrically opposed duo up for a tie-breaking question that involved the number of lollipops left on the BB table. Jerry and Keesha chose the same number (100), forcing a second tie-breaking question. Keesha ended up taking the title of HoH, but she seemed flummoxed by the double-eviction rapidity of her choice for nominees.

Still reeling from her recent HoH victory, Keesha stayed true to her alliance, putting up Ollie and Jerry for eviction.

Veto In A Haystack
The power of veto competition was also simple. To win, players had to race across the BB lawn, dive into a haystack and find a PoV medallion, transport it back to your starting point and then find the remaining medallion to do the same. First player with two medallions back at his starting point was PoV champ. Ollie hit the competition hard but came up short once again with Dan taking the PoV, barely beating out his fellow "Renegade" Memphis.

Eviction Ceremony: Part Deux
As soon as Dan took the PoV, Ollie was sure that his days in the BB house were numbered. With each of the houseguests still panting from the PoV competition, there was little time left for wheeling and dealing. With Jerry and Ollie up on the eviction block, the "Colonel" gave his same, tired speech, bizarrely invoking analogies of tires and not-so-sour grapes. Ollie, on the other hand, used his eviction plea to take one final swipe at Dan, stating matter-of-factly, "It is what it is. Dan, you have an opportunity to play another game. Let's play another game of roulette and maybe this time, I'll get lucky."

Though Dan professed to "appreciate" the humor in Ollie's speech, his choice to forgo the PoV came as no surprise. Once the eviction votes were counted -- and well before Julie Chen had revealed which of the two nominees was going home -- Ollie stood up and pulled of the fastest exit in BB history. There were no hugs, no tears and plenty of sour grapes as the preacher's son beat a hasty retreat back into the real world.

Only five players are left to battle it out for the $500,000 prize. Dan's reign has come to a turbulent close with the bubbly Keesha taking the coveted HoH key. After Dan's "roulette" gamble every player feels as if there is a target on their back. Always-out-for-himself Memphis may have put it best when he turned to floater Jerry and said, "At this point, there are no teams." -- Reagan Alexander

Finally Rakhi was out at the end after some unexpected drama. Sambhavna opened the envelope. It has name of Rahul Mahajan and everyone thinks that he would be leaving. Everyone was giving see off to him. Payal was inconsolable whereas Monica was almost dead with this news. Shilpa announced otherwise then it was turn of Rakhi.

Rakhi got ekdum thanda see off. She was keep in telling (did i say yelling) to everyone not to flow down precious tears for this shocked moment as if there might be flood like situation because of her departure. Real boys (we are not talking about Rahul) must be laughing out loud within themselves. Rona, woh bhi Rakhi ke liye, kabhi nahin.

Naturally the minor victory of Lisa and Sara over their B-Block oppressors was less sweet second time around. Partially because the outcome was already known - as much as it was obvious that they were both going to share, the very length of the wait led you to feel slightly unsure merely by force of habit, reading the micro-expressions on their faces trying to see if under their relatively straight-forward exteriors there beat within the heart of them the heart of somebody greedy enough to make a grab for 50k at somebody else's expense on national tv.

This time we knew they were nice/smart enoguh to share. Still we got a little bit of perspective from the other side of the tv as well this time, and it was mostly positive, with even Rex being genuinely pleased for the pair and rooting for the share. Heck Darnell was even partying down a little bit despite his utter contempt for Sara. It was left to Mo to be the Bitter Betty, snerking around in his fishnets complaining about how they didn't deserve it and he did.

Sometimes the "Greedy Mo" epithet means so much more than his love for food.

And we also got a little bit of the aftermath. And by "aftermath" I mean "Sara and Lisa desperately trying not to be smug and failing", by yukking it up about the irony of them getting a quarter grand for being the two most disliked people in the house, and also pranking everyone by claiming that their prize had been magically doubled. Not that we saw what immediately after that (probably nothing), but the ambiguity of it made a sweet coda to the episode and made the whole thing once more about Lisa and Sara and their last moment of triumph together before one of them gets booted out tonight.

Unfortunately we didn't get a decent shot at the truly spectacular bitch-face Kat pulled at Rachel when she nominated Rex. I guess some things are best left to the imagination.

In other house news : Mikey was the man who beat the bank at Monte Carlo ; Mo's quest to always be in the same shot as food got a shot in the arm from Big Brother ; there's totally gonig to be an eviction any second you guys, any second now, totally there is, surprise eviction coming up just around the bend...

Google has becoming increasingly compliant to government requests to block purportedly sensitive information -- including images of Tibet, military installations and even a General Electric research plant -- according to a new report prepared by the Open Source Center for the Bush Administration's Director of National Intelligence Mike McConnell and reports circulated online about areas Google has blocked or blurred.

The research report was not approved for public release but was leaked to Secrecy News (view pdf). It is prepared entirely on public information -- so called "open source" intelligence. But it paints a picture of an increasingly pliant global communications juggernaut, willing to do business with authoritarian regimes and US government agencies at the expense of transparency.

But I wanted to see the Double eviction for my self and it was worth having red eyes and black circles today at work. I enjoy a good double eviction on Big Brother. Then I fired up my computer and caught up with Big Brother UK (Still no as good as the Australian version though) on a great site for reality fans RealityTVFan.org.

So it was a long night, yet I perked up at 6:30 this morning and made it to work on time and surprisingly not that tired.

They games last night was all right. There were only 50,000 people in attendance. That’s pretty low considering the stadium can old over 65,000 and sometimes more. But then again it took some people until halftime to get to the game as I could see the traffic stopped all the way on the Fort Pitt Bridge. Good thing I work downtown and only have a short walk over to the stadiums.

The person who stood out to me last night was Patrick Bailey, who plays on special teams; he made 3 great tackles on special teams that were awful last year in coverage’s. I hope he makes the team because if he continues to play like last night he’s going to become a specialist in that area.

They won Yay! But it really doesn’t matter its preseason and everyone is ready for it to be September 7^th, when they open against the Houston Texans.

That’s all I got for now, we’ll see what magic this day brings as it’s Friday. Later today I will be taking in a  high school football game, we’ll see how that goes.

Los Estadounidenses han informado que han dado su primer ataque en su HAARP

(Programa de Investigación de Aurora Activa de Alta Frecuencia) con base en

Alaska sobre el radar atmosférico similar de Rusia ubicado en las costas del

Lago Baikal (también base del Telescopio Neutrino Submarino Profundo de

Rusia) que fue sacudido por un devastador terremoto magnitud 9.0 (6.7 en la

escala de Richter).

Las Fuerzas Rusas respondieron rápidamente para contraatacar con una fuerza

enorme de 9 billones de voltios desde su "Cañón Huracán" dirigido hacia el

Golfo de México, de lo que acusó el metereólogo Estadounidense Scott Stevens

a Rusia de utilizar en contra de los Estados Unidos por el desastroso

huracán Katrina que virtualmente borró la ciudad de Nueva Orleáns.

Sin embargo, los líderes guerreros Estadounidenses no están haciendo caso de

tal advertencia en su confrontación con Rusia pues el Golfo de México está

ahora en agitación a la espera de que la tormenta tropical Gustav se

convierta en un posible monstruo de categoría 5 listo a causar una gran

destrucción en las vitales instalaciones y refinerías petroleras a lo largo

de las costas del sureste de los Estados Unidos.

Debe de señalarse que la Duma Estatal de Rusia ya (2002) "había preparado

dos discursos: Al Presidente Putin y a la ONU, las organizaciones

internacionales, parlamentos y gobiernos de todos los países, a la comunidad

científica del mundo así como a los medios masivos de comunicación"  para la

prohibición de "armas geofísicas" con base en los Estados Unidos.

El investigador Vladimir V. Sytin también, ya había advertido lo siguiente

en su reporte en el Ukraine Times:

"En la opinión de muchos científicos, las catástrofes ecológicas que cayeron

sobre Europa y Asia este verano, testimonian  algunas razones globales

comunes detrás de su origen. Primero que nada, creen que existe la

posibilidad del uso secreto y sin sanciones de armas geofísicas.

Vale la pena recordar que a fines de los 1970's, los Estados Unidos y la

Unión de Repúblicas Soviéticas Socialistas firmaron un acuerdo prohibiendo

el uso de desarrollos de ingeniería en la esfera de la geofísica para fines

militares. De hecho, estos desarrollos fueron hechos bajo el pretexto de inv

estigación científica o tecnologías con doble propósito.

Osetia del Sur varios meses después de que los principales países

Occidentales reconocieron la independencia de Kosovo ha cerrado la puerta

por un corto período de un orden mundial estable.

Los analistas dicen que Moscú ha dado un ejemplo mucho más radical de

resolver los problemas internacionales sin recurrir a los mecanismos

tradicionales.

Rusia pospuso el reconocimiento de las repúblicas separatistas Georgianas

todo el tiempo que fue posible, hasta que tuvo que escoger entre hacerlo o

agacharse ante el Occidente - aunque no se considera culpable de nada, y

comerse su humilde pan en esta situación hubiera sido prueba de su

ineficiencia.

Boris Shmelev, jefe del Centro de Estudios Políticos Comparativos en el

Having SUCH a fun time in Portland.  Had our mentoring session today (woo hoooo--lots more about that & pics tomorrow).  It didn't stop there though---dinner with a pal from AZ that relocated to Portland, sat by a fire pit WITH E's guitar tonight (soooo relaxing), and I tried to edit some pics, but my brain just cannot go on without sleep!

Tomorrow...wake late, photo shoot around our hotel + with a musician at and near the fun[ky] old train station (love it!).  Train to Bellingham.  :)

The HOH competition was incredibly close but I was ecstatic when Keesha won the second tie-breaker. As soon as she did, I knew Ollie and Jerry would go up on the block. I thought Ollie might win the veto and save himself and it looked like he was on his way to doing that when the POV competition started but he never even came close to winning it. Dan pulled out another much needed veto win.

Keesha could now be in a precarious postition though since she will not be competing in the next HOH competition on Sunday. The best case scenario for her would be for Renny to win HOH again. I have a feeling that won't happen though. I'm thinking either Memphis or Dan will win the HOH competition. If I'm right, I think Jerry and Renny would likely be the two put on the block but if one of them is taken off with the veto, Keesha would undoubtedly be used as the replacement. We'll have to wait and see how it all plays out on Sunday.

Because Mo cheated, the housemates have failed the task, even though they passed, if you get my drift. The housemates then start to worry about what might happen later that night, not least because nominations have not been made. "You know what happens in Vegas - weddings! Imagine that, Lise!" says Rachel. "No, I'm sorry guys, I think it's an eviction," says Lisa. Mo is given a feast in the diary room. Anyway, we've seen the next bit. The housemates nominate each other by writing on cards and all the housemates see who has picked who. Sara and Lisa are up. Can I just say how appalled I am by this? No? Oh, Rex fans, are you? What do mean? There's got to be some out there, right? "Some wedding this is!" says Lisa. Do you think Mo would have been nominated if he had not been head of house? Maybe! Lisa and Sara go to the task room to play prisoner's dilemma, which is to chose to share money, or keep it for themselves (share or shaft, perhaps). They share the money, and win £25,000 each. They are thrilled, of course. Sara cries with delight. Rachel, horribly, leans over and kisses Mikey and says, "We're in the final." Yeuch. You shouldn't be, either of you. Sara and Lisa talk about why they were nominated, but end up laughing like loons because who cares, they've won £25,000. Mikey, oddly, tells Rex that Sara is obsessed with him. Hm. Mo doesn't think Sara deserves the money, but either he doesn't explain why or it's cut out - in either case, he's wrong.

In the diary room, Sara and Lisa express their gratitude for the money. Sara wants her sister (BRITNEY!) to fly over to the UK, and Lisa may spend her money on the wedding, even though she won't need to, as OK! will pay for that. Ah well. Small mercies, and all that.

August 30th Is International Day Of Those That Have Disappeared

Last week Dan made a three-part deal with Ollie. The deal was that Ollie would be safe with one of HG of his choosing would be safe. Ollie would pick one to put on the block and that Ollie would pick POV nomination if a replacement nominee was required!

Dan, who seems to be playing different games, figured he would not get his hands bloodied that way. I am afraid Dan is wrong! He did not only get blood on his hands and pissed off Ollie whom he had a deal with, Michelle who he said was safe, but now Keesha and Renny have figured out Dan and Memphis. Not only did Dan get blood on his hands he got a blood bank all over him.

Ollie did not take the backstabbing very well; he reacted badly and was throwing stuff. Of course, it was made out to be more then it really was, which was reacting badly, but he did not exactly trash the house as some reported. Memphis was talking about what he did throw was at least two pounds and he could of broken a window. To say he want crazy and out of his mind, is not exactly true! He DID react badly to the backstabbing and Dan going back on the word in this game and should NOT of thrown anything. Throwing one thing vs. trashing the house is a huge difference people.

Michelle is sulking and pouting that she may be going home, and trying to convince Keesha and Renny that Dan has a deal with Jerry, not just Memphis and Ollie. Actually if they all sat down and discussed Dan, they would discover that Dan is playing all sides. I do not think Dan made the smartest deal in history and even if he gets to the final two the chances of him winning this is pretty muchnil. He has pissed off too many people.

It would have been easier for Dan to go with his deal at this stage of the game. Everytime someone reneges on their deal in this game has always proven to be their downfall and eventual eviction.

Renny needs to figure out Keesha, she really is running game and like Dan playing all sides. I am surprised that Renny has not figured out Keesha.

What is even more baffling is how all of the HOUSEGUESTS went along with Dan's POV game. Why they did not get together and talk about Dan's pre POV game is beyond me. These HG's are not thinking about all of Dan's games and the POV pre-game should have sent up red flags to them.

Renny looks like she may swing her vote and since Dan made this three way deal, I think it would be best if they split the vote and let Dan decide who is going home. It would force Dan to either keep his agreement with Ollie and perhaps survive double eviction tonight, or would show that his intention was to go back on his word.

At the same time Ollie should have NEVER AGREED to any deal and he should have continued to try to win HOH. Every year we see this, the going back on a deal. When are Houseguests going to learn late in the game and a double eviction looming somewhere in the game, it is not the TIME to try to make a deal for HOH and hand the HOH to another houseguest. Ollie was fine up there; it was Dan that looked like he was going to drop. Nobody is GOING to let somebody else run their HOH, Ollie should have realized that when Dan was offering him the sun, the moon and the stars, Dan even threw in a bit of heaven just so Ollie would drop. That was Ollie's mistake and Dan's mistake in the game; because people already did not trust him (Dan) and now, he has made himself more distrustful in the game.

Double eviction tonight and it will be very interesting to see who goes after the first eviction.

After just a few days of peaceful posting, the big brother fan forum was interrupted by yet again another racist! This person used the N word often and was not ashamed to say it. In fact, this person is described as not just a racist but also someone that is very abusive to other posters. This person made sure they added in the N word on every post. This person is one of the more disgusting, inbred, ignorant posters I have seen besides the other racist on the big brother forum. (I had written about him in the past).

CBS the way I understand it the posts were reported each time, and it took you a few days to do something about it! That really is mind boggling that the CBS BIG BROTHER MODS did not see fit to delete the posts and do something about a poster that uses the N WORD IN EVERY POST. It spoke volumes to many readers of your hesitation! Anybody that uses racism as a shield has signified to readers that whomever they are disagreeing with that they lost the debate. The USE OF ANY RACIST WORDS is disgusting, and the person that used it should be humiliated that they are this ignorant to use the word. The N word CBS was used so frequently by this poster that it was unconscionable how your big brother mods permitted this to be on the forum for as long as they did!

I really deliberated if I even wanted to include the following posts in this article. I have decided I will post two of the racist tirades that goes on with the CBS BIG BROTHER FAN FORUM. By including it, for readers to get the gist of what goes on this big brother forum and how the mods inaction is really a problem; and how UGLY the CBS Big Brother fan forum has become, it is disturbing!

The good news is that most members spoke out against the use of the N word, there was one however, that felt that anything negatives towards one person that she does not get along with justified. Shut up! BB is my guilty pleasure for the summer. But it’s preempted by the Steelers game tonight so it won’t be shown until 1:37 am, what an odd time. But that’s perfect as I will be at the final pre-season game tonight.

I’m happy this is the last pre-season game. I find pre-season so boring, but todays should be better as we get to the first team for most of the game. But I think the best part of the day is how gray and cool it is out side, to me it’s PERFECT!

I love this weather and I can’t wait until fall, as it’s my favorite season. Late September thru early November is the best time of the year. The weather is perfect, my allergies usually disappear, there’s a plethora of Halloween events that I love, so it’s the best time of year, especially in Pittsburgh because there is always something to do.

So as summer wanes and football returns and my favorite sport, hockey, will join it a month later, I look forward to the fall, it also doesn’t hurt my birthday and a much-needed vacation is in the time frame too!

So even though it’s cool and gray outside, the artificial light in this building I work in causes my migraines and I hate my job, there’s a lot to look forward too in the next few months and I’m happy about that. 

And yet still they're contuining the series for another week and a half?

It's hard to imagine it having been written better. The final set of nominations take place face to face, with a minimum of drama, because let's face it everyone knew how this shit was going to go down by this point. Even with the last flounderings of an anti B-Block vote Sara and Lisa were wedgd into a corner. There was however, the minor victory of Rachel, after weeks of sniping, undermining, and all round bullying finally choosing to nominate Rex, and then telling Kat not to start on her for daring to cross her beloved B-Block Final Fantasy.

But still, everyone was being very good-natured and calm about this final move of the game when...

SURPRISE!TWIST!TASK!

IN!THE!TASK ROOM!

Now when this happened (twice) before, it was made of lame. The first time consisted of Eugene handing the victory to Anthony on a silver platter, and the second time consisted of Liam being given 100 large because three of the most egregious housemates of the entire series decreed it so. So the auspices weren't exactly good for this being done again. Massive giveaway that take place over one day and one task and are never mentioned again are not exactly the stuff of great storytelling.

But this time it all just felt right. It felt like a reward to the two of them for putting up with the annihilation of all that wasn't B-Block in a calm and friendly manner. It felt like Sara was getting some sort of salve for the ridiculous attacks of Darnell, Rex and Mo. It felt like Lisa being able to cash in for being the winner that she is, even though she's got no chance of winning. And even better it came out of a successful playing of "The Prisoner's Dilemma" so both housemates looked like morally upstanding citizens and best friends forever.

It was kind of a beautiful note to fade to black on. Certainly better than Michael doddering through the fireworks with his fingers in his ears with a victory for being a rude twat, with Rex in second (because come on, you know he will be. He's totally the Jason at this point) going "Yay-uh" or whatever. Which is where we're currently headed.

Still I'll always have the moment of Sara and Lisa gleefully helicoptering around the tacky Vegas set cheering and grinning.

In other house news : Mikey couldn't break Darnell's heart even if he tried. Or find a tune in a bucket ; I felt really sorry for Darnell. It must be really hard to call someone an ugly bitch and a slut, my heart bleeds etc etc ; Sara for some reason trusted Kat around sharp objects. For that reason alone she deserves the 25k as danger money
