My favorite restauranteurs were, at that very moment, buying a souvenir for me in Fukui Prefecture (福井県). Can you guess what it was? When I was talking to my friends about how amazing that was, they said it wasn't so amazing because this was actually honey with apple in it, as opposed to honey made by bees using apple blossom nectar. Either way, I thought it was pretty cosmic. Also, it is quite tasty.

With this diagram I am eating a considerable amount of my previous work with the icons as well as a few concepts.  The first row is the interrogatives (problems).  The second row are my rearranged icons.  The third row are my Greek terms for the solutions.  The fourth row are Einstein's solutions.

Nach eine schweren Krankheit, scheint er wieder auf den Beinen zu sein. Ich kenne die Details dazu nicht, habe aber gestern bei "SPAM the musical" (Galerie Wagner und Partner) von Gaga Nielsen erfahren, daß Schlingensief wieder ein offizielles Lebenszeichen von sich gegeben hat. Erst heute spüre ich nach und bemerke, was für ein Verlust sein Gehen für uns wäre. Ich freue mich, daß er praktisch wieder aktiv ins Leben zurückgekehrt ist!

Schlingensief ist der Größte, weil: wichtigste, mutigste, kreativste, produktivste, symphatischste, bewegenste, kompromissloseste, provozierenste, verrückteste, liebenswerteste, abgefahrenste, progressivste, integrierenste, vielseitigste, witzigste, ideenreichste...usw.

Ich bin sicher, sollte er dann wirklich mal sterben, was ich nicht glaube (unsterblich), wird er meiner Ansicht in der Bedeutung für die Kunst nicht weit hinter Beuys seinen Spitzenplatz im Künstlerolymp einehmen. Man möge mir verzeihen, daß ich hier so eine maßlose Huldigung zelebriere, aber ich habe wirklich einen Schreck bekommen, bei dem Gedanken Schlingensief könnte bald nicht mehr unter uns sein...!

Ich habe Christoph Schlingensief im Rahmen der Aktion "Chance 2000" etws kennegelernt. Es war eine grandiosse Zeit damals, denn es gab generell ein positives und inspirierendes Gefühl des Aufbruchs. Ich und viele meiner Freunde glaubten, daß wir das alte System (System 1) endlich durch ein besseres menschlicheres, besseres und gerechteres System 2 ersetzen könnten, bzw. dazu beitragen könnten. (machen, machen, machen) Schlingensief und seine Chance 2000 kamen da gerade recht.

Chance 2000: Es war, wie ich finde wohl eines der besten Ideen für ein Theaterstück/Aktion, die es jemals gab. Das Theaterstück verlässt die Bühne und geht in die reale Welt...(bitte lest die Details dazu erstmal im Web nach).

Als "cosmic im Weltspiel" beteilgite ich mich an der Aktion stellte mich für die Bundestagswahl 1998 auf. Auch 2009 werde ich wieder kandidieren, diesmal nicht in Schweinfurt sondern im Wahlkreis Friedrichshain.

Wie auch immer, ich habe seit Chance 2000 nur so nebenbei beobachtet, was Christoph Schlingensief macht. Ich schaute ein bischen bei seiner Arbeit auf der Biennale in Vendig (2003) zu und freute mich, als er den Zuschlag für die Wagnerinszenierung bekam. Es folgten auch immer öfter Galerieausstellungen, was ich  bemerkenswert fand...

Was mir immer besonders positiv in Erinnerung bleiben wird, sind die vielen guten Statements und Zitate die Schlingesief in Umlauf brachte. Zeilen von ihm selbst, von seinen Schauspielern oder von Schriftstellern, usw. Zum Beispiel singe ich heute noch diese Strophen von Bertolt Brecht, wo er die ausgegraben hat, keine Ahnung, ich konnte die Zeilen bis heute in keinen meiner Brechtbände finden:

"Und der Blick in das Gesicht, eines Menschen dem geholfen ist,

ist der Blick in eine schöne Gegend! Freund, Freund, Freund!!

Fazit: Ich werde ab sofort wieder genauer hinsehen was Schlingesief produziert, öfter seine Stücke ansehen und seine Ausstellungen auch!

Over the course of preparing this post the first time I have made some substantial discoveries.  I am working on incorporating them as quickly as possible.  Sorry for the inconvenience, but please read on.

The Zachman Framework

The Zachman Framework as it is presented to us is a six by six plane.  The x axis are called focuses and the y axis are called perspectives.  The genius of John's idea was to place the interrogatives on two dimensions instead of his many predecessors' placing them only on one dimension.  However, I have wrestled with this framework heroically, in my humble opinion, and have come away concluding it is lacking.  In fact it is misleading.

John Zachman's attitude toward his framework has become rigid with a litany of "do nots" that are baseless and counterproductive.  It is like reading creationist literature "don't change the model no matter what reality says!"  Bill Inmon also jumped aboard this circus train and I don't think he understands it either.  What has happened is the broad acceptance of a concept no one has taken the time to understand.  It is just a bunch of arm waving.  I am tired of looking at reports with "Who", "What", "Where", "When", "Why" or "How" printed boldly in the headings that reveal no understanding of the definition of each of these interrogatives.  And no one, not John Zachman or anyone, has sat down and asked the tough questions.  No one is attempting to turn a concept into a discipline.  Their just trying to shoehorn everything into their boxes.

That's where I come in.  I have labored over the Zachman Framework for years, because instead of just trying to keep up with the paperwork, I have wondered how to honestly implement this concept.  I have seen something in it and I have asked "Does anyone see what I see?"  The honest answer is "No".  Not the business rules community, not the user interface community, not the programming community, not the database community, not the network community and not the project management (scheduing) community.

Why is this the case?  It is because the models we are using are obsolete and incompatible and do not fit in the framework at all.  This includes UML and all the enterprise architecture software products.  There is no way we can achieve unified modeling with the same way of thinking that has lead to this impasse.  The solution is already out there, but no one has caught onto it.

One of the things I have realized is the two dimensionality of the Zachman Framework is one of its greatest flaws.  So I am going to give you a taste of the future.

The Czerepak Framework

I am going to show you a construction I call the Czerepak (Chair-eh-pak) Framework.  This new framework addresses many of the logical flaws in a two dimensional presentation of the six interrogatives.  We are exploring new ground here and it still may not address all of our needs.  I'm ready for that potential obstacle when we get to it, too.  So, let's go.

1. 8 : The Chronics Line

We start off with a duration with ten child events.  Each child entity represents one of the interrogatives and has only one datatype.  You may notice ten not six interrogatives.  The reason for this is I discovered that the English language does not make use of some interrogatives that are logically essential.  And even this model is not complete.  A provison for mechanics and programmatics could be made.  Let's stop thinking like crucified carpenters and start thinking according to what reality presents us.

Another aspect of the interrogatives is they come in pairs.  There are Entities and Associations (I'm comparing them to Maslow's hierarchy of needs to illustrate a correlation) :

• When is an entity and where is and association  -- physiology/intimacy
• Whither is an entity and whether is an association -- security/safety
• Which is an entity and whuch is an association -- love/belonging
• What is an entity and How is an association --discipline/training
• Who is an entity and Why is an association -- command/transcendence

Below is another point form explanation of the interrogatives:

1. Your availability is Chronic --this is your duration --immediacy --When
2. Your accessibility is Apostatic --this is your distance --ubiquity --Where
3. Your essentiality Telic --this is your goal --mandatory --Whither
4. Your legality is Heuristic --this is your audit --regulatory --Whether
5. Your  fidelity is Matric --this is your definition --quality --Which
6. Your  variability is Energetic --this is your domain --quantity --Whuch (How Much)
7. Your affordability is Pragmatic --this is your datatype --practicality --What
8. Your  reliability is Methodic --this is your attribution --regularity --How
9. Your compatibility is Organic --this is your association --cardinality --Who
10. Your capability is Logic --this is your identity --nominality --Why

2. Ten Ten: The Apostatics Plane

We now have a plane.  In each cell the top entity is the "source" (subject name) and the bottom entity is the "resource" (object name) to which it is associated. To every source there is compatible opposite resource.  Sources are relative to the observer.

3. Ten Ten Ten: The 1000 Telics Cube

At this point we now have a telic cube.  Telics are the goals of the system.  Goals are either mandatory or optional.

We are going to take the Czerepak Framework Pragmatic Cube and cut it into ten planes.  There will be a brief discussion of each of the planes and then I will follow up with some conclusions.

The order of the columns and rows and planes in the Czerepak Framework are fixed.

3.1 Telic Logic Plane

The telic logic plane deals with the capacity (verb name) of the association.  To every verb there is an opposite reverb.  Capacity is relative to the observer.

3.2 Telic Organic Plane

The slice determines the compatibility (cardinality) of the the association.  The number of associations to theTo every compatibility there is an opposite recompatibility.  Compatibility is relative to the observer.

3.3 Telic Methodic Plane

This plane determines the reliability (regularity) of the association.  To every reliable there is an opposite liable.  Reiability is relative to the observer.

3.4 Telic Pragmatic Plane

This slice provides you with the affordability (cost) of the association to the resource.  For every afford there is an opposite reafford.  Affordability is relative to the observer.

3.5  Telic Energetic Plane

This slice provides you with the quantity (domain) of the association to the resource.  For every domain there is an opposite redomain.  Domain is relative to the observer.

3.6  Telic Matric Plane

The telic matric slice deals with the quality of associations.  For every definition there is an opposite redefinition. Quality is relative to the observer.

3.7 Telic Heuristic Plane

This telic heuritic slice provides you with the legality (regulation) of the association to the resource.  For every regulation there is an opposite reregulation.  Legality is relative to the observer.

3.8 Telic Telic Plane

This slice provides you with the essentiality (mandatory) of the association to the resource.  For every goal there is an opposite regoal.  Essentiality is relative to the observer.

3.9 Telic Apostatic Plane

This slice provides you with the ubiquity (distance) of the association to the resource.  For every distance there is an opposite redistance.  Accessibility is relative to the observer.

3.10 Telic Chronic Plane

This slice provides you with the availability (duration) of the association to the resource.  For every duration there is an opposite reduration.  Immediacy is relative to the observer.

4.  Ten Power Four:  The 10000 Heuristic TetraCube

Heuristics are the domain entities for each of the pragmatics.

5.  Ten Power Five:  The 100,000 Matrics PentaCube

Organics are the definition entities for each of the heuritics.

6.  Ten Power Six:  The 1,000,000 Energetics HexaCube

Logics are the manipulation entities for each of the organics.

7.  Ten Power Seven:  The 10,000,000 Pragmatics SeptaCube

8.  Ten Power Eight: The 100,000,000 Methodics OctaCube

9.  Ten Power Nine: The 1,000,000,000 Organics EnneaCube

10.  Ten Power Ten:  The 10,000,000,000 Logics DecaCube

I won't go any further into the diagrams because astronomical number.  I will leave this as an exercise you can explore.

You now have a schema with 10 billion possible states.  This can be designed using less than 20 database tables and is not a data warehouse.

This would complete the schema for our system which has grown exponentially and achieves a singularity.  However, "The Tao is not the Tao."

This would be the ultimate structured networking tool.

7. Eleven

But what about the data?  The input would be the text for each logic, the integer for each organic, the boolean for each heuristic, the currency for each pragmatic, the decimal for each cosmic and the datetime for each chronic.  The data capacity is only limited by reality.

At data saturation a new schema paradigm is required as the system performance would begin to decline.

I started to put some stuff on paper so I can reflect on what I wish.  Apart from writing it down so i can see it, I am trying to keep my mind empty.  I have been thinking way too much and it has made me very sad and depressed because I am not getting answers that are right now and crustal clear.  I know better than this: I know I need to be patient.  It is just very difficult to fight over anxiety when it has become a daily habit.

A new insight that has come to me in working with the Systema Framework is the realization that datatypes are not chaotic or random.  Datatypes are specific to the column they are in.

1. Logic is restricted to Text attributing the interrogative
2. Organic is restricted to Integers attributing the cardinality
3. Heuristic is restricted to Boolean attributing the paths or sets
4. Pragmatic is restricted to Decimal attributing the metric
5. Chronic is restricted to Datetime attributing the event
6. Cosmic is restricted to Spatial attributing the node

The interesting thing is the framework is two dimensional.  This means that each of the six interrogatives is provided with each of the six datatypes in a structured fashion.

When you give this thought in this disciplined fashion, it becomes obvious that the Zachman Framework and the Systema Framework are inadequate to explain the complexity of datatypes we experience.  I will provide a solution in my next post.

Tiba" ketemu lagi, soalnya bapak itu jalannya rada lama, gw ama ica buru" soalnya takut bank-nya tutup. Hal geje pun terjadi... Bapak itu bilang, "sok, jalannya duluan aja". Yaudah gw ama ica jalan duluan. Kita pake jalan nerobos, belok kiri, sekalian mastiin bapak" itu ngikutin apa ngga. HAAH! Ternyata ngikutin donkksss..... Padahal tadi gw kasi tau jalannya lurus aja terus naik kalapa-dago. Huaa....gawatzz bangedzz! Gw ngga mau jadi korban mutilasi! Apalagi gw belom beli baju lebaran, dapet angpao lebaran juga belom!

Gw langsung gerak jalan sehat, kecepatan 400 km/jam. Terus, gw ama ica juga membaur dengan orangorang yang lagi jalan. Pas udah jauh, orangnya udah ngga keliatan lagi! Hahahah! Kita lolos dari bapakbapak setengah baya itu. Siapa suruh mau mutilasi orang bawa bawaan kayak mau mudik!

Naek angkot, kirikiri depan Dago Plaza, masuk ke Bank Niaga cabang dago, nyetor duit, Tridaya ampe jam 4.

Udah gitu keliling keliling nyari BARAN (baju lebaran). Dari UNKL347, eat347, invictus, manalica, collabo, NLs, blackjack, COSMIC, screamous, diery, opium, badger, arcane, ouval research, gw kunjungin semua. Gw dapet cardigan coklat di ouval. Tau ngga si looo...gw bayarnya pake Kartu debet niaga cerdik loooo! tinggal gesek boow, terus tandatangan. Ica nemu yang bagus di arcane, sweater gitu. Tapi di sana ngga nerima pembayaran kartu. Jadi ngambil dulu ke superindo cepetcepet, atas saran pa satpam kalo atm yang paling deket disitu. Terus pake atm bersama deh, tapi bakalan dipotong 5000 sekali narik, kalo ngecek saldo 2000.

Gw iseng buka hape, eh ada sms, isinya "dila d hokben aja, udah pada di situ ." Oh mai gat. Muka gw mau gw taro mana?? Mana udah sok sok-an pesen meja buat 8 orang, tau nya ngga jadi!! Gimana keluarnya nihh.. Udah aja gw ama ica keluar dari Pizza Hut dengan muka merah nan panas layaknya api cinta membara.

Gw ama ica pun melanjutkan perjalanan untuk membeli sweater dambaan ica di Arcane, pas dicobain taunya kurang cocok, ngga jadi beli deh. Ya udah akhirnya kita jalan dari trunojoyo ampe hokben merdeka.

Abis makan, gw, ica, danti, ebhe, dhira, gya, ke diery merdeka. Gw beli iket pinggang blackjack, tinggal gesek juga bayarnya *bangga. Terus ke BIP, liat" topi, ke skaters. Ica nemu sweater bagus, ehh ngga ada yang s nya. Ke Rockster, gw beli baju, ukurannya s, gambarnya keren. Abis gitu ke Folker, terus ke Sharks. Liat" ke stroberi, udah gitu keluar dari BIP. Depan BIP ada topi koboi catur bagus, gw beli. 55 ribu berdua ama danti, jadi 27500 satu. Danti belinya topi reggae. Oh iya, kali ini gw bayarnya pake uang tunai. Abis gitu ke moutley terus ke sportmax, liat".

Udah jam 20.02, pulang de. Nyampe di terminal, mama belom dateng..gawat..serem banget..mana banyak masteng lagihh.. Untung aja masi bisa nyampe ke rumah, ya setelah nungguin mama 2 menitan.

Ain't got no trouble in my life,
This though instills in me a feeling of trusting the universe.  And reading through the Word Press "Tag Surfer" every morning affirms this feeling.  Tag Surfer brings up all the recent blogs that have a tag that you're interested in.  My tag is "Family".  When I go through the Tag Surfer I am led through the cosmic mind of our blogging community.  And I have to admit that I like what I read.  I love reading the blogs from the Muslim families and learning what is really interesting to them and what they do for fun.  And wouldn't you know, the Muslim families are really not all that different from us?

More importantly, it helps one get the image in their head that none of us are so different from each other.  I mean if I exchanged the word Muslin family with the phrase Pierced, punked, tattooed, single white Mom.  I know the sentence would remain true. 

I'm never frightened or worried,
When I get up in the morning and start reading all the new blogs being posted I am reminded of the eternal hope we all engage as we write.  Reaching out to someone, we may never have met, someone we don't know.  Voices offering support, solutions, warm stories of family love, voices of people who are vastly different in language, religion, affluence, poverty, reaching out. 

I know I'll always get by.
Somehow all these voice cultivate in a cloud above us literally defending or shielding the planet against all the negative voices out there.  It's really amazing what a few positive voices can do.  Don't you think??  Anyway, that's one of the reasons why I blog.  It's my way of changing the world - for the better.  One of the more important jobs of an eternal optimist is to keep reminding people that there is a reason to keep hoping.

The other thing that the expression Life (Love ) will find a way reminds me of is a premise I believe; and that is:  All of us are one.  It's a mystery that takes a while to fully understand.  Another way of looking at this is to say:  we're all connected.  Boy that is a thought that will really blow your mind.  And I really do believe it has a lot of truth in it.

BTW, I might as well add this personal note:  Today is my late mother's Birthday (8/31/33).  And I really miss her.  She would be 75 now.  I know she is with me always in Spirit.  And my biggest regret is that I didn't treat her with more loving support while she is alive.  She was really a great mom.  And I am still working through this with a therapist, in case you have any doubts that I am making this up.

Poesie? - Momentmal, ganz unten in der Statistik fällt mir gerade ein interessanter Suchbegriff auf: porn poesie!

Da sucht also jemand nach Pornpoesie! - faszinierend. Ob damit die aktuellen Pornrap-Texte gemeint sind, oder doch ein neues Genre, das ich noch nicht kenne? Egal, ich habe jedenfalls bei meinen geliebten und vertonten Rückertgedichten erotische Anspielungen wahrgenommen, die ich jetzt angesichts der Pornsprachdebatte gerne bekannter machen möchte. Und Eure Meinung dazu würde mich interessieren!

Wie gefällt Euch diese sanfte, erotische Poesie?

Diese Zeilen stammen also von Friedrich Rückert (1788-1866), die ja bekanntlich Gegenstand der POETRYCLUB-Vertonungen sind. Die "rohere" Alltagssprache von heute (z.B. Pornrap) würde Rückert sicher nicht mehr verstehen, oder verstehen wollen. Zu seiner Zeit hatte man insgesamt viel sensiblere Ausdrucksformen.

Schön und romantisch, oder?

Während Formulierungen im heutigen Sprachgebrauch immer reduzierter und härter werden, bringt POETRYCLUB den passenden Gegenpol:

Sprache formt Bewusstsein! Daher sagt der allgemeine Sprachgebrauch auch viel über den aktuellen Bewusstseinszustand der Gesellschaft aus.

Was meint ihr dazu?

Wenn ihr mögt, schickt mir dochmal Eure "Übersetzung" der obigen Zeilen, in die heutige, gängige Alltagssprache. Oder postet hierzu als Kommentar erotische Gedichte von anderen Poeten. Würde mich freuen.

You may have seen the television commercial for the Toyota Rav4. An SUV travels through the countryside, into an urban environment, and returns to the great outdoors. In the background, the Scottish songwriter Donovan sings his 1967 hit, "First there is a mountain then there is no mountain. First there is a mountain, then there is no mountain, then there is."

I think about this song as I gaze out my window and see the front range of the Rocky Mountains staring back at me. The ancient ridges and crags ascend 14,115 feet to the summit of what the Ute tribe called Sun Mountain and what is popularly known as Pikes Peak. The span and scale of the mountains overwhelms my senses. No one can absorb it all with a single glance. It's simply too massive. Too overpowering. Contemplating it swells my heart and subsumes me under a wave of sheer awe.

So when I hear Jesus telling his listeners to remove mountains by merely talking to them, I implicitly understand that he's speaking figuratively and spiritually. He's not instructing people how to transport geological formations. Jesus has something more significant in mind. The Nazarene encourages his followers to cultivate the smallest kernel of faith so that it will bring about monumental results.

Today faith has become a cliché and a byword suggesting something akin to stupidity. Being a person of faith has come to connote an individual who holds to his opinions regardless of the evidence. Somehow, I don't believe this is what Jesus had in mind.

Jesus' teaching springs up as an outgrowth of his message concerning the imminent fulfillment of God's promises on his generation. "The kingdom of God is at hand." What does that have to do with mountain-moving faith? Jesus called people along the Galilean hillside to believe the gospel -- the kingdom announcement. He invited them as the firstfruits of Israel to participate with him in the messianic work of transformation. Through their faith in God's word, they would move the largest mountain they could imagine -- Sinai. In its place, Mount Zion would materialize.

In his famous allegory of Hagar and Sarah, the apostle Paul understood Sinai to signify Israel -- and hence humanity -- under the burden of law. With the arrival of the New Jerusalem, Israel and humanity would be delivered into ultimate liberty. For Paul, these "things are symbolic. For these are the two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar -- for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children -- but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all" (Galatians 4:23-26).

The New Testament book of Hebrews contrasts the two mountains. "You have not come to a mountain that can be touched, a blazing fire, and darkness, and gloom, and a tempest, and the sound of a trumpet, and a voice whose words made the hearers beg that not another word be spoken to them. . . But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel" (Hebrews 12:18-24).

First there is a mountain. Then there is no mountain. Then there is.

Zion, the mountain of the Lord's house as envisioned by Isaiah, has been established as the highest of mountains. The mountain has filled the whole earth, as Daniel foresaw. It is a mountain that cannot be shaken, a mountain that will not be moved, a mountain upon which God has destroyed the shroud that enfolds all people (Isaiah 25:7). So what does that mean for us?

Donovan's song might give us a clue. The lyrics emerged from the observations of a Chinese teacher who lived more than a thousand years ago. Qingyuan Weixin reflected on his life's journey, "I thought that mountains were mountains and waters were waters. Later when I studied personally with my master, I entered realization and understood that mountains are not mountains, waters are not waters. Now that I abide in the way of no-seeking, I see as before that mountains are just mountains, waters are just waters (The Art of Pilgrimage by Phil Cousineau).

Looking at your life with the eye of the flesh or the eye of the mind, you may see unscalable mountains. How can anyone get over chronic pain, depression, loneliness, alienation, or fear? Surveying our world with the same vision, we might see ourselves standing at the foot of a towering mountain. War, poverty, terrorism, and pollution threaten our very existence. We believe these mountains are impossible to climb. The air is too thin, the slope too severe, the perils too dangerous.

Whether it is for us personally or for society generally, our constant desire-for-more places mountains before us. "I want this but can't have it because a mountain stands in my may." In our cravings we've become blind to our greatest possession -- a gift than cannot be surpassed. "He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered him over for us all, how will He not also with him freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:32)

When we look higher with the eye of the spirit and see Mount Zion, the deceptive mountains dissolve because we become empowered to hike one step at a time. Rather than seeing ourselves as people struggling to reach a summit, we're walking with God at this point in this moment. "What are you, O mighty mountain?" (Zechariah 4:7). This awareness helps us appreciate God's divine immanence thereby allowing us to approach and accept every mountain in its own right. Zion is Zion, therefore the mountain that is not a mountain is just a mountain.

First there is a mountain. Then there is no mountain. Then there is.

Because God is all-in-all, even the mountains have their place. They have become integrated into the vast cosmic network of being. Don't try to go around the mountains. That only makes your expedition longer and more arduous. Climb the mountains by not climbing them. Just walk knowing that God is walking with you. When you do, you will discover an elevated perspective of life, yourself, and God.

SCHALTKREIS WASSERMANN: PSYCHOTROP

Am «Tag der Informatik» geben die Synthesizer-Pioniere und Hitmacher Schaltkreis Wassermann («Muh!») nach über 20 Jahren ein Comeback-Konzert.

Harmonisches Kuhmuhen zu Discobeats, Glockengebimmel, Jodeljauchzer und ein Alphorn zu einer kindlichen Synthesizermelodie - mit «Muh!» stürmten Matterhorn Project 1985 die Schweizer und auch die internationalen Charts, etwa in Südafrika. 2007 erlebte der spassige Kuhchor ein kleines Comeback, als der Volkshit in die Auswahl des SF-Quotenrenners «Die grössten Schweizer Hits» kam.

Mit Matterhorn Project erlangte eine nicht unbedingt repräsentative Seite der Sängerin Stella und des Keyboarders PJ Wassermann die Gunst des Massenpublikums. In Musikkreisen nämlich genoss das Duo aus Ibiza und Basel bereits als Schaltkreis Wassermann Wertschätzung. «Schaltkreis»: Das verweist auf die Bauweise alter Analog-Synthesizer, aber auch auf elektrochemische Reaktionen im Gehirn. In den psychotropen Klangkosmen von Schaltkreis Wassermann fanden diese ab 1979 ihr elektronisches Pendant.

Letztes Jahr nun machte neben «Muh!» auch das Stück «Lux» von 1981, seinerzeit in den Synthesizer-Charts des englischen Magazins «Melody Maker», seine Runde als Schwarzpressung. Bekennender Fan von «Lux» ist die italienische Cosmic-Disco-Legende Beppe Loda: «Einer meiner grössten Hits als DJ», meldete sich dieser kürzlich per E-Mail bei den Wassermanns, «noch heute erhalte ich Nachfragen zu diesem Track.» Die Comeback-Show von Schaltkreis Wassermann allerdings wird neues Klangmaterial präsentieren, zusammen mit multimedialen Effekten, einen erweiterten «Schaltkreis» sozusagen.

Moving overseas... I remember we were fussing over a family photo that people could stick on the fridge, to remember to pray for us. I was looking for a quote – something short & pithy that summed up our intention – a credo if you like – and this jumped out at me from a fridge magnet.

“Be the change you wish to see in the world...” – Mohandas Gandhi

So I sent out a copy of the photo with this quote along the bottom, to some friends at church for their feedback. I got back this comment, “Love the photo... I am concerned though about the mixed message you are sending people using a quote from Gandhi when you are about to go overseas on Christian mission!”

Its interesting... despite my friend’s concerns, the writer of Mark’s Gospel records Jesus’ opening words with a similar sense of the personally empowering present. Jesus says, “The time is fulfilled and the Kingdom of God has come near; repent and believe in the Good News” (Mk1:15).  There is a sense of the weight of history unfolding here, of Jesus inviting people to play their part on the cosmic stage. That which people have only dreamed about, is coming to pass.

Now is the time to act.

I like what Brian McLaren says about people. He says,  “Everybody believes that someday the poor should be helped, someday the rich should be generous, someday racism should end, someday the environment should be cared for, and that someday wars should cease. But very few people will say, ‘Let’s start today, let’s start now !’”

Yet the Good News that Jesus proclaimed said that now is the time to experience the grace of the Kingdom. Now is the time to embody it... to live it out in every word and deed. Don’t wait around until everybody else is doing it. Instead, be non-conformists and innovators ahead of your time.

‘Be the change you wish to see in the world’. Gandhi had that sense of today, of now being the time.  Gandhi believed that focused & determined individual effort made a difference. He also believed that when focused & determined individuals banded together they became unstoppable.  Using this credo Gandhi rallied ordinary people and together they broke free from the dominion of the Empire !

Your time is now. The Kingdom of God has drawn near... repent, believe and be the change you wish to see in the world !

Es ist wirklich unglaublich, ich muss mich untersuchen lassen! Meine Aura sorgt dafür, daß Rechner nicht so funktionieren, wie sie eigentlich funktionieren sollten. Selbst mein Systemadministrator, ein Ingenieur mit Erfahrung, äußerst versiert im Umgang mit Computersystemen, rauft sich inzwischen die Haare und versteht die Welt nicht mehr. Originalton in kompletter Verzweiflung: "Ich kriegs nicht hin, das glaub ich jetzt nicht mehr, das muss doch gehen!, usf...".

Selbst einfachste Applikationen, die überall sonst auf der Welt in zigtausendfacher Anwendung problemlos laufen, funktionieren auf meinem System nicht, oder nur mit diversen Problemen und workarounds. Wenn ich zur Maus greife und am Rechner mit frisch aufgespielten System sitze, geht zum Beispiel einfach der Bildschirm aus und alles wird schwarz. Dabei springt interessanterweise der gerade verwendete Firefoxbrowser von ganz alleine vom linken auf den rechten Bildschirm rüber (ich hab zwei Monitore). Wie und warum ist völlig unklar. Oder mein Internetprovider schickt mir ein Zugangspasswort etc. pp. auf mein Pop3 Account. Ihr könnt drauf wetten, es funktioniert erstmal nichts...auch der Administrator, der mir versichert, es sei doch alles ganz einfach, scheitert nach mehreren Einrichtungsversuchen und schüttelt den Kopf....

Ich könnte jetzt noch zig weitere Phänomene der letzten Jahre beschreiben, die Essenz ist immer die gleiche. Ich hab ein Problem mit PCs, bzw. die PCs mit mir. Was ist da los?

Ich habe mein Talent schon vor Jahren bemerkt: Immer wenn ich eine Software in Verwendung hatte und etwas nicht so funktionierte, wie ich mir das eigentlich wünschte, kam ein Kollege oder der Admin daher und tat exakt das Gleiche wie ich, nur mit dem Unterschied, daß die Anwendung nun ohne Probleme das tat was man von ihr erwartete. Ich blamierte mich regelmäßig.

Nachdem mir heute völlig unverständlicher Weise das Importieren einer .pst Datei in mein Outlook versagt wurde und deshalb die gesamte Mailkorrespondenz der letzten 18 Monate abhanden gekommen ist, stand ich vor der Wahl: Entweder laufe ich jetzt Amok und werde zum Mörder, oder ich gründe eine Selbsthilfegruppe. Ich habe mich für Letzteres entschieden und suche nun Menschen, denen es geht wie mir.

Bitte melden, wenn ihr auch glaubt, daß Eure Schwingungen, Energien, Aura, Gedankenkraft oder was auch immer dafür sorgen Computer zu beeinflussen und ihrem Betrieb zu behindern!

Ich lade alle Betroffenen ein, sich bei und mir auszutauschen. Uri Geller soll bei meinem Mangament auch schon Interesse bekundet haben.

In usual Japanese fashion, I was treated to a spectacle, pleasantly unexpected. Riding home from work yesterday afternoon, I came across this on the 246...

It's a matsuri, this was a fairly small one, locals I would guess. 

There was a small ute, with drummers and flute players leading the procession, which I think, ends up at a temple just off the highway.

Interestingly, for an area so close to Shibuya and commonly frequented by gaijins, lots of people seemed surprised about me being there and taking photos. It was insane seeing people take up 2 of 4 lanes, of a constantly busy traffic artery, on a Sunday afternoon.

Later on I went to Oli's place to say 'Hi' to his Mum and work on some zines that we are making soon. On the way I saw this. It's a terrible photo (that I almost didn't manage to take), but it's one of these. The best thing about it was the Snow White & Dwarf airbrushed masterpiece on the rear panel.

Explanation: Galaxies are fascinating not only for what is visible, but for what is invisible. Grand spiral galaxy NGC 1232, captured in detail by one of the new Very Large Telescopes, is a good example. The visible is dominated by millions of bright stars and dark dust, caught up in a gravitational swirl of spiral arms rotating about the center. Open clusters containing bright blue stars can be seen sprinkled along these spiral arms, while dark lanes of dense interstellar dust can be seen sprinkled between them. Less visible, but detectable, are billions of dim normal stars and vast tracts of interstellar gas, together wielding such high mass that they dominate the dynamics of the inner galaxy. Invisible are even greater amounts of matter in a form we don't yet know - pervasive dark matter needed to explain the motions of the visible in the outer galaxy. What's out there?

Sonst kann ich garnicht viel dazu sagen. Es gefällt mir einfach sehr gut, wie sie es macht! Nur über die Fotos und Videos die von und mit mir erscheinen kann ich generell nicht viel beitragen oder ergänzen, jedenfalls zur Zeit nicht. Ich lass es bei den Sessions einfach geschehen und sehe mir das Ergebnis irgendwann an...

Es ist wie bei Songs. Man macht einfach und weiss noch garnicht, was der jeweilige Song später bei den Zuhörern bewirkt. Jeder hört und empfindet anders. Bei den Gaga Sessions bin ich ja eigentlich nur da und mache eigentlich nichts, und das ist eine schöne Sache für mich. Ich muss nur sein, kann mich fallen lassen und Gaga macht daraus ihre Arbeit. Eine tolle Symbiose zwischen Modell und Künstlerin. Opus 13 zeigt genau das...

Berdasarkan asal katanya, “Big Bang” berarti Ledakan Dahsyat atau Dentuman Besar, dalam Ilmu Kosmologi Big Bang dinyatakan sebagai salah satu teori ilmu pengetahuan yang menjelaskan perkembangan dan bentuk awal dari alam semesta. Teori ini menyatakan bahwa alam semesta ini terbentuk dari ledakan mahadahsyat yang terjadi sekitar 13,7 Milyar tahun lalu^[1]. Ledakan ini melontarkan materi dalam jumlah sangat besar ke segala penjuru alam semesta, yang kemudian membentuk bintang, planet, debu kosmis, asteroid/meteor, energi, dan partikel lainnya di alam semesta ini.

Penemuan tersebut menyatakan bahwa jagat raya berawal dari ledakan satu titik tunggal bervolume nol dan berkerapatan tak terhingga yang terjadi sekitar 14 miliar tahun lalu. Ide sentral dari teori ini adalah bahwa teori relativitas umum dapat dikombinasikan dengan hasil pemantauan dalam skala besar pada pergerakan galaksi terhadap satu sama lain, dan meramalkan bahwa suatu saat alam semesta akan kembali atau terus. Konsekuensi alami dari Teori Big Bang yaitu pada masa lampau alam semesta punya suhu yang jauh lebih tinggi dan kerapatan yang jauh lebih tinggi^[2].

Adanya 2 proyek besar pemetaan galaksi saat ini, telah mendukung bagi teori Big Bang. Hasil berbentuk peta tiga dimensi sekitar 266.000 galaksi, dan perbandingannya dengan data dari Cosmic Background Radiation (Radiasi Latar Alam Semesta), telah membuat penemuan penting berkenaan dengan asal usul galaksi-galaksi. Disimpulkan bahwa galaksi-galaksi terbentuk dari materi sekitar 350.000 tahun setelah peristiwa Big Bang ^[3].

Di tahun 1960-an, para ilmuwan perumus teori ini menyatakan, jika alam semesta berasal dari ledakan besar, seharusnya terdapat sisa radiasi ledakan yang melingkupi seluruh alam semesta dalam bentuk panas^[8]. Tahun 1965 radiasi ini pertama kali ditemukan dan diakui sebagai bukti mutlak bagi Big Bang yang disertai berbagai pengkajian dan pengamatan, dan diteliti secara sangat mendalam. Data yang diperoleh dari satelit COBE (Cosmic Background Explorer) pada tahun 1992 membenarkan perkiraan yang dibuat di tahun 1960-an ini dengan hasil sangat menakjubkan. Radiasi ini juga teramati di antara galaksi-galaksi, dalam bentuk gelombang-gelombang kecil oleh 2 kelompok ilmuwan (kelompok Dr. Colless dan kelompok Dr. Eisenstein)^[7]. Dengan demikian telah dibuktikan secara pasti bahwa cikal bakal galaksi terbentuk di tempat-tempat di mana materi yang muncul 350.000 tahun menyusul peristiwa Big Bang saling berkumpul dengan kerapatan yang sedikit lebih besar.

Selain berdasarkan fakta ilmiah, sebenarnya dari sisi religi (keagamaan) pernyataan teori big bang ini termuat dalam kitab-kitab suci seperti Taurat, Injil dan Al Qur’an. Pembentukan alam semesta dari "ketiadaan" diberitakan di dalam Al Qur'an surat Al An'aam ayat 101: “Dia Pencipta langit dan bumi”. Mengembangnya alam semesta, dinyatakan pula dalam: “Dan langit itu Kami bangun dengan kekuasaan (Kami) dan sesungguhnya Kami benar-benar meluaskannya” (QS. Adz Dzaariyaat : 47)^[4].

Selain itu dinyatakan bahwa Alam semesta bermula dari suatu yang padu seperti ayat: “Dan apakah orang-orang yang kafir tidak mengetahui bahwasanya langit dan bumi itu keduanya dahulu adalah suatu yang padu, kemudian Kami pisahkan antara keduanya?” (QS. Meskipun Big Bang telah didukung dengan banyak bukti, muncul pertanyaan bagaimana akhir dari alam semesta^[6]. Menurut Friedmann ada tiga kemungkinan (model) yang akan terjadi pada alam semesta di masa mendatang: (1) alam semesta bersifat tertutup (closed universe). Untuk model ini alam semesta akan berhenti berkembang pada suatu masa dan gaya gravitasi akan kembali menyatukan semua galaksi menuju ke satu titik (Big Crunch), (2) Jika gaya gravitasi terlalu lemah untuk mengatasi proses pengembangan alam semesta, alam semesta akan terus menerus berkembang dengan cepat dan selamanya, (3) jika proses pengembangan alam semesta tidak terlalu cepat namun hanya cukup untuk mengeliminasi gaya gravitasi, alam semesta berkembang menuju ukuran tertentu dan kecepatan pengembangannya berkurang sedikit demi sedikit menuju nol, akhirnya alam semesta bersifat datar^[5].

Sampai saat ini untuk pembahasan masalah Alam Semesta (terkait dengan Big Bang) ke depan  masih dalam perdebatan, bukti-bukti teoretis dan eksperimen belum mengarah pada kesimpulan yang bulat.

Many see coincidences as embedded in a higher, transcendental force, a cosmic “glue,” as it were, which binds random events together in a meaningful and coherent pattern. The question has always been: could such a harmonizing principle actually exist?

Or are skeptics right in regarding this as a product of wishful thinking, a consoling myth spawned by the intellectual discomfort and capriciousness of chance?

Mathematician Warren Weaver, in his book, Lady Luck: The Theory of Probability, recounts a fascinating tale of coincidence that stretches our traditional notions of chance to their breaking point.

The story originally appeared in Life magazine. Weaver writes:
All fifteen members of a church choir in Beatrice, Nebraska, due at practice at 7:20, were late on the evening of March 1, 1950.

The minister and his wife and daughter had one reason (his wife delayed to iron the daughter’s dress) one girl waited to finish a geometry problem; one couldn’t start her car; two lingered to hear the end of an especially exciting radio program; one mother and daughter were late because the mother had to call the daughter twice to wake her from a nap; and so on.

The reasons seemed rather ordinary. But there were ten separate and quite unconnected reasons for the lateness of the fifteen persons. It was rather fortunate that none of the fifteen arrived on time at 7:20, for at 7:25 the church building was destroyed in an explosion.

The members of the choir, Life reported, wondered if their delay was “an act of God.” Weaver calculates the staggering odds against chance for this uncanny event as about one chance in a million.

Coincidences such as these, some say, are almost too purposeful, too orderly, to be a product of random chance, which strains somewhat to accommodate them. But then how do we explain them?

Another definition for SYNCHRONICITY

Synchronicity at this point can be defined as a series of seemingly unrelated events which are connected via a hidden agenda.

The recent publication of the SUPERSTRING theory indicates that there may well be ten dimensions in existence, not merely the four that ones senses are currently aware of. (Length, breadth, width, time)

There is now considerable mathematical proof to indicate that ten dimensions exist.  And most quantum physicists have given serious consideration to this theory.  It would appear that the “hidden agenda” of synchronistic events may be transparent and obvious in one or more of these ten dimensions, but become opaque and difficult to fathom when viewed in our current restricted four dimensions.

And there is now at last a small amount of evidence to indicate that when an individuals subconscious mind-set is modified to encourage positive PK synchronistic events (luck) then synchronistic elements may be set into play which materialistic as PK Luck events in our “real time” dimension.

And conversely when a person becomes aware of a series of synchronistic events they can use this special knowledge to trigger a burst of luck.

What has been definitely proven however is that the mind-set of an individual influences their interaction with the environment, to an extent which can leave a person “stunned” at the positive results.

What I have discovered over the past 4 years is that if I call up a dream program to “induce” synchronistic events in my waking life ….then instruct my mind to consciously recognize these events as a synchronistic train….I can usually recognize where they are leading to and be there at the right time and place to take advantage of them.

I have personally had at least a dozen of these recognizable synchronicity trains in the past 3 years and each one has bought me sometimes quite incredible luck. So much so that friends here in Vanuatu keep telling me how by Jim Francis
