Anyway, talking of Hillary Clinton, you may have heard, Barack Obama won the North Carolina primary, while Hillary Clinton won in Indiana, narrowly so. And yet, Hillary Clinton continues to hope that she will become the Democratic candidate. Stupid, much? Seriously, her campaign is broke, she virtually has zero chances of winning the candidacy and her forte is being able to attack, gnaw and cast doubt on Obama. She's such an embarrassment to the entire Democratic party. Someone should step in and tell her it's OVER! While the presumptive Democratic nominee Obama is having to deal with Hillary's attacks, John McCain [and his gang of goonies] is building up his defenses. GAWD. It would be horrible if Obama wins the Democratic nomination [which he will] and loses against McCrazy in the election.

O twitter é outro serviço simples e direto que ao meu ver tem grande potencial. Ele é um blog de pequenas proporções e serve também como um chat em ritmo mais lento, sem precisar da atenção total para conseguir acompanhar. Vamos esperar que ele não crie métodos que atrapalhe o livre tráfego de informações.

Outra mania, os blogs, são usados hoje em dia como construtores de sites. Quem se lembra do Geocities? Quando lançou todas as pessoas queriam ter sua página pessoal. O blog só aprimorou essa vontade com uma interface mais fácil de se atualizar. Aqueles que acham que a internet é uma fonte de dinheiro e é só ter um site para receber sua fatia do bolo, desistem antes de um mês. Isso acontecia na era do Geocities e continua na era Blogger.

Outro exemplo que sempre foi um fracasso são os fóruns. Ninguém percebe que são poucos os que entram todo os dias para responder ou discutir um tema? E ainda insistem em colocar fórum em todos os lugares. As comunidades do orkut são ótimas insígnias ou repositório de links, não locais de discussão. Ainda existem os guerreiros, como o Yahoo Respostas que inventou um sistema de pontuação para seus usuários. Deu certo até eles perceberem que não ganhariam nada além dos pontos.

Não poderia terminar o post antes de falar dos fotologs. Viraram sucesso no momento em que as fotos digitais estavam surgindo. No começo, quem não tinha câmera digital apelava para o scanner, só para não ficar de fora. As bandas foram aumentando, o volume de fotos também e os serviços sendo substituídos. Se antes era apenas uma foto por dia, agora a briga é por que oferece mais espaço. O problema é que o volume de fotos ficou muito grande. Quem viaja para a praia acaba publicando todas aquelas fotos iguais do mar. Daqui a pouco essa coisa de volume pode virar uma desvantagem.

Acho interessante perceber que a própria melhoria de um serviço pode ser a responsável pela sua decadência. Só não consigo entender como aprimorar algo pode fazer ele perder a preferência. Talvez por uma falta de capacidade em entender as verdadeiras vontades do usuário.

Eu mesmo já tive (ou tenho) minhas épocas! Inclusive posso até enumerá-las:

1. O Início: Como já disse: "No início tudo é uma novidade.". É aquela fase em que você acha tudo maravilhoso! Eu gosto de comparar, este estágio inicial, com o período quando Alice chega no País das Maravilhas (rs).
2. A Descoberta dos Chats: Nem todos passam por esta fase! Mas diria que 90% dos novatos acabam entrando em uma sala de bate-papo. Nesta fase há inúmeros fatores que podem influenciar no tamanho de seu vício! Exemplos? Vamos supor que você seja tímido. Nas salas de bate-papo você pode ser quem quiser e, a melhor parte, sua timidez simplesmente some.

Hmmm, what have I been doing? A little bit of exercise [try not to laugh too hard], some TV and a lot of Age of Empires 2. AOE 2 rocks! Seriously, no matter what happens, Age of Empires 2 is the best game ever. I mean, everytime you play it, there's something new and different to deal with. My favourite civilisations are the Britons [crossbowmen are awesome], Persians [put together some war elephants, archers and monks and you cannot be defeated], Koreans [turtle ships!] and the Mayans.

Oh yeah, have to tell you: A friend and I were texting each other about the cost of GTA 4 [60$] and I said that Windows Vista is more expensive. And he replied, 'I payed for my laptop so shut up'. And since then I have been teasing him about PAYED like hell! :D I changed my Gtalk Status to 'I PAYED my taxes'....Haha! Poor kid.....

I'm currently reading Acts of Faith by Erich Segal on my mobile.
