Estou a tentar introduzir uma nova maneira de Postar. Uma maneira mais Dinâmica. A começar pelo Post do Buddy Annoyer. O que eu precisava mais que nunca agora é os vossos comentários. sem os vossos comentários não conseguirei fazer melhor. Podem comentar se gostavam de ter outro visual. Ou outras coisas. Comentem Pessoal.

Unter dem Fernsehschränkchen ist jedoch an der Rückseite eine Ecke mit dreieckigem Grundriss frei (jeweils 39cm Kantenlänge außen, Innenkante 54cm und 71cm hoch). Diese Ecke ist nicht nur vom Volumen her ziemlich ausreichend für das Motherboard, Netzteil und meine 2-3 Laufwerke, sie liegt auch noch ideal. So kann ich durch ein Loch in der Rückwand auch gleich das Videokabel vom N64 durch zur Fernsehkarte legen. Die Umschaltbox für den Bildschirm liegt auch gleich oben drüber. (Evtl. sollte ich die aber auch gleich einbauen und die ganze Ecke verschließen.)

Natürlich ist ein Dreieckiger Grundriss nicht gerade die üblichste Variante für Computergehäuse, also bleibt mir nichts anderes übrig als eine Lösung komplett von Grund auf zu improvisieren.

Derzeit scheinen mir 2 Möglichkeiten als sinnvoll:

Entweder ich bestell mir Nirosta-Bleche, komplett gestanzt und abgekanntet (habe da eine Quelle in der Verwandschaft), diese müssten jedoch schon verdammt genau gestanzt sein damit z.B. die Fernsehkarte rein passt.

Alternativ könnte ich mir etwas mit Glasfasernetzen und Kunstharz laminieren.

Beides hat jeweils seinen eigenen Charm, doch für beide Lösungen sind erstmal die nächsten Schritte gleich: Alles Ausbauen, jedes Bauteil ausmessen und überlegen wie ich das ganze Zeug im Gehäuse verteilen will.

Since now, Apple has become basically a fashion statement where its cool to use Apple products like the iPod and the iMac - lets not forget about the iPhone, I see so many people buy and use these products. Many people buy Apple products because they want to be cool like everyone else and they look nice and stuff. I understand that because no one wants to be the outcast, the one person who does not have th product that all the cool kids at school have. I've been there and I've definitely seen it.
In this case though with Apple products, I say, "you guys are so stupid." No matter what, just because it looks cool doesn't mean its better and don't give me that bullshit saying that the Leopard OS is safer than Vista or even XP because its not. It is only 'safer' because hackers predominantly use Windows/Linux and hack into other Windows machines because Windows is the only OS people have. Now, all these hackers have macs and they're developing and finding exploits to use against all the fan boys out there. Once you get infected with a mac virus or worm, GG to you. Its just like using Windows all over again.

Soon enough though, when enough people use macs, Leopard will become like Windows and then no one will be able to trust either Microsoft and Apple anymore and then everyone will say, "Fuck it, lets go with Linux!"

Dengan promosi berkembangnya sistem operasi Windows Vista yang dikembangkan oleh Microsoft. Banyak vendor yang memaksa menawarkan Vista dalam komputer rakitannya. Hal itu membuat kita bingung untuk menentukan sistem operasi yang kita pakai, ditambah lagi dengan iming-iming tentang kelemahan keunggulan-keunggulah yang ada di Vista (terutama AERO). Hal ini ditunjang dengan harga vista yang lebih "murah" dibanding XP (yang versi mana?). Sebagai pebandingan harga lihat di Rakitan.com. Tapi janganlah terkecoh dengan semua itu perhatikan sistem requirement dari Vista (bukan dari Microsoftnya) untuk layak menampilkan AERO (bukan score recomended vista yang nilainya 6) :

• Processor, minim HT (LGA)/ Athlon64 X2 DC, Dual Core/ Core2Duo / Phenom lebih baik.
• Memory, Dual Channel (minim 512mbx2)
• VGA, gforce 8600GT/ HD2600 (PCIe)
• Matherboard, jelas yang bisa ditancepi processor, memory, diatas.

Tapi dalam kenyataan, ada keanehan dalam pemilihan VGA. Jika kita memakai produk nVidia
dibanding denagan produknya ATI. Score AERO pada Vista akan lebih tinggi, jika pakai ATI dibanding NVidia (produk setara). Padahal untuk game, nVidia lebih unggul... kenapa ya? aku sendiri tidak tahu! mungkin ini efek dari perseteruan permusuhan antara Intel dengan nVidia mengenai SLI, sedangkan ATI jelas-jelas sudah membuka Crossfirenya.

Jika ada pertanyaan manakah yang lebih unggul antara Windows Vista dengan Windows XP, maka jawabannya adalah Windows Vista. Sebab Windows Vista unggul dalam :

• Kebutuhannya akan kecepatan processor (yang device manager muncul dua)
• Kebutuhan akan memory besar (dual channel lagi)
• Kebutuhan akan VGA  (nVidia 8800GT)
• Lemotnya (terutama untuk kompi spek rendah)
• Tampilan AERO (di Linux sudah lama ada)
• Security (ingat Linux lagi)
• Child Protection (include)
• Searching (kayak google desktop)
• Widget (ingat linux lagi)
• Windows Defender (include)
• Game lebih lemot dibanding jalan di XP (DirectX 10)
• dan yang gak kalah pentingnya, Lebih memusingkan kita yang tidak mempunyai Hardware seperti diatas :-)

Pen drive, the small storage device used to store and transfer data to and from computers, has gained popularity due to its functionality. It has got thousands of uses. Ease of use and convenience is the prime reason of its popularity.

However, like many other equipments, pen drives are also a necessary evil and pose a potential security threat to the technology world. When placed in wrong hands, the portability and high storage capacity of the pen drive can be hazardous. The device has evolved as a threat to the corporate and other organizations where security of data is given utmost importance.

The threats that are associated with pen drives are serious. Some of them are listed below.

Stealing of data:

Apart from the defense department, the corporate sectors all over the world are under the threat of data theft for espionage. There is no dearth of incidents where spies, hackers and other source are employed to steal data. There has been a conscious protest against pen drives in many private and government organization. Though it is a convenient device for the productive brains, it has proved to be beneficial for the thieves as well. Pen drives are small in size and have greater capacity to store information. Hence the thieves can carry the device stealthily in pockets and take information.

Unless and until any drastic step has been takes against it, the security of any organization can be in stake. Even a visitor can retrieve data easily from an open computer. Considering these threats, some companies have taken some protective measures for their security by banning pen drive inside company premises. It can reduce the threat to some extent.

Los rumores sobre la actualización de la línea de reproductores multimedia de Apple hace tiempo que rondan Internet. Sin embargo, una invitación enviada por la empresa de la manzana ha incrementado las especulaciones, que ya no sólo hablan de nuevos iPods, sino también de la nueva iTunes 8.

En concreto la invitación de Apple sólo dice "Let's rock" e indica que el evento será este martes, en San Francisco, a las nueve de la mañana. Sin embargo, lo que más interpretaciones ha suscitado, es que el diseño imita la interfaz del iPod.

Asimismo, en diversos portales e incluso en la feria IFA se han comenzado a mostrar fundas protectoras de la marca HAMA y láminas para resguardar la pantalla de un nuevo iPod nano, de 4° generación, el cual dejaría de ser casi cuadrado para adoptar la forma alargada que tenía antes, claro que esta vez con una pantalla panorámica.

Incluso hoy el sitio de ventas por Internet Alibaba mostró lo que sería la imagen de un iPod nano de 4° generación, donde claramente se ve su estilo alargado y los bordes redondeados que el modelo incorporaría.

En tanto, sobre el nuevo iPod Touch se comenta con insistencia de la incorporación de GPS y, aunque con menos fuerza, en la página web ipodizados especulan con la posibilidad de que el nuevo touch incluya cámara fotográfica con flash, según dejaría en evidencia una funda protectora.

La misma página indica además que el nuevo iPod touch, de segunda generación, tomaría prestada la forma del iPhone 3G. Mediría 111 milímetros de alto, 61,8 milímetros de ancho y 8,4 milímetros de grosor, siendo así 0,4 milímetros más grueso y 1 milímetro más alto. De acuerdo con los esquemas que presentan, al parecer hay un espacio dedicado para la antena y un par de botones para subir y bajar el volumen.

Fuera de la línea iPod, se ha comentado la posibilidad del lanzamiento del nuevo iTunes 8, que entre otras novedades tendría una funcionalidad llamada "genius", la cual  crearía listas de reproducción con música similar y recomendaría artistas similares para comprar sus canciones, así como una nueva vista en formato cuadrícula y la incorporación de descargas de series de televisión en alta definición.

I've been contemplating where to go in terms of upgrade. I love my Canon EOS 20D, and it has served me well. However the 8.2 MP are a little on the small side for large fine art print - avoiding the whole debate about the required resolution in terms of megapixel count. Primary problem is the limited freedom in terms of cropping with only 8.2 MP to start with. Granted, many of my photos are panoramic, more often than not created from a number of shots stitched together, thus creating a rather large file, so in that sense a camera able to produce a bigger pixel count, isn't required. However, when taking stitched photos the size buffer can actually be of some importance, since it at times can be crucial to be able to take about 9 RAW format shots in quick succession, something the 20D can struggle to achieve.

I've have had my eye on the Canon EOS 5D for a long time, as the natural step up. Apart from the fact that the 5D are due for an upgrade (EOS 5D Mark II has yet to be announced), the main problem have been one of finance. Not only does the EOS 5D cost significantly more than the Canon EOS 40D, there is also the problem of lenses: The lenses I have are either made for the 1.6 factor sensor (EF-S lenses), or are only capable of producing really good sharpness in the center - fine for a 1.6 sensor, but not a full frame. So what to do? And if I need to change all my lenses anyway, why stick with Canon, when Nikon (and others) has such good cameras to offer? I have of course also been looking at the EOS 40D, but frankly I don't see the upgrade matching the cost.

But now all doubt might soon be gone: The Canon EOS 50D has just been announced. Looking at the specs it looks like it fits my requirements completely - now I'm just waiting for the in-depth review, to see if it delivers what I'm hoping for.
