<p>2009 promete ser um ano que mudará o mercado nacional de motocicletas oficialmente.</p>
<p>As montadoras asiáticas já estão aí faz um certo tempo mas esse ano que começaram a mostrar para que vieram e ano que vem será o grande BOOM dessas montadoras e com a <a title="Kawasaki de volta ao Brasil" href="http://sprintfinal.wordpress.com/2008/10/10/ninja_de_volta/" target="_blank">notícia</a> do retorno da Kawasaki acabará a hegemonia de grandes montadoras como Honda e Yamaha, embora será difícil elas perderem a majestade.</p>
<p>Para o consumidor é muito bom ter mais opções que atendam ao seu gosto e bolso também, novos conceitos estão surgindo como a introdução de motos esportivas de baixa cilindrada como a Comet GTR e a Ninjinha 250cc. Soma-se a isso as mudanças tecnológicas que montadoras como a Honda adotaram injeção eletrônica nas motos para satisfazer a lei de emissão de poluentes.</p>
<p>Seja qual for o motivo das mudanças, 2009 trará muitas surpresas, afinal não param as expeculações de nova Twister, Honda 300c, a aposentadoria da da Falcon, enfim... Se alguém está pensando em trocar de moto, fazer um up ou adiquirir a primeir duas rodas, é melhor esperar um pouco e analisar com cuidado todas as novidades para o barato não sair caro e você não ficar a pé.</p>

1) mi sono rotto le palle di assistere alle <a href="http://www.jappone.com/blog/2008/09/28/tempo-di-muoversi-tempo-di-undoukai/" target="_blank">undookai</a> di mezzo mondo<br />
2) i giapponesi, con mia grande sorpresa, fanno commenti alle terme (a chi conosce le terme alla giapponese, ed immagina il tipo di commenti, dico: si`, quel genere di commenti)<br />
3) i bimbi giapponesi sono carucci al punto che viene da sorridere ogni volta che ti sorridono, il che mi fa sentire abbastanza ebete, ma vabbe`<br />
4) odio le tastiere giapponesi: possibile che non ci siano gli accenti?? (si`, in effetti come nelle nostre non ci sono i kana... ma vabbe`, scoccia uguale!)<br />
5) il soffitto degli appartamenti e'troppo basso, io quasi sfioro l`architrave della porta! mi sento claustrofobico<br />
6) quanti giapponesi (piu`un baka gaijin) possono entrare in un appartamento da 35 metri quadri <em>lordi</em>? la risposta e`... 11! questo vuol dire che ognuno ha a disposizione una media di 3,18 metri quadri, compresi il bagno, l`ofuro e la cucina, e senza contare lo spazio occupato da mobili e pareti. qualcuno capisce perche`di tanto in tanto <em>sembra</em> che mi manchi l`aria?</p>

Beberapa waktu yang lalu motorplus mengadakan acara test drive untuk ni motor di sepanjang jalan ringroad barat Jogjakarta. Diikuti oleh peserta yang rata-rata terdiri atas pembalap roadrace papan atas Jogja. Saya punya teman yang kebetulan waktu itu datang ke dealer kawasaki di Jl. Magelang buat beli onderdil, karena sudah kenal dengan mekaniknya dia ditawari dan mau untuk ikut acara test drive hari itu. Sehari-harinya temenku itu adalah pembalap jalanan yang tiap malam minggu adu tarik kalah menang taruhan.<br />
Start dimulai dengan nekatnya temenku menggebernya layaknya pembalap liar, dia berprinsip toh yang dipake bukan motornya sendiri kan. Sedang peserta lain mungkin karena terbiasa di roadrace perlakuan dalam menggeber ni motor diurut secara halus. Alhasil top speed tertinggi 245 km/jam dalam trek 400m pun diraih temenku dan menjadi pemenang .<br />

<p class="MsoNormal">Financial analysts suspect this increase in mini-mansion tract home sales is due to the McDonald’s Corporation’s Monopoly Instant-Win game, which started just days ago.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Million-dollar winner Kent “Bud” Jessup’s first purchase was a 2004 PT Cruiser with flame decals, and to accompany his new car, Jessup bought his Daytona home.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Jessup won the McDonald’s grand prize after just 212 visits to the fast-food giant, collecting game pieces by alternately purchasing and eating Chicken Select sandwiches and Big Macs. The odds of winning the grand prize are 1 in 184,698,474. Jessup only gained 26 pounds in his pursuit.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">A look inside Jessup’s home reveals his decorating inspiration.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">“I wanted something that looked classy, like a ‘The Price is Right’ living room showcase. $10, 000 and up. But then I remembered how much I liked ShaqAttack’s (NBA player Shaquille O’Neal) home on Cribs,” said Jessup.</p>

<p>Linha Ninja a partir da 600cc e as nakeds da série Z; Z750 e Z1000, incluindo a Ninjinha 250CC com injeção eletrônica e para ficar competitivo é possível que venha com o mesmo preço da Comet GTR, ou seja, entre R$17.000 e R$19.000, mas [b]não está definidio[/b] até por conta dessa crise financeira mundial.</p>
<p>Lembrando que virá a Ninjinha européia, ou seja, 33cv, de 0 a 100 em 6 segundos e velocidade final real acima de 160km/h  (resultados de testes feitos na carburada)</p>
<p>Essas motos irão mudar o mercado de motos e será uma excelente opção para quem quer fuigr de categoria street e custom que são praticamente os únicos modelos de 250cc no Brasil, exceto pela esportiva Comet GTR e a Naked Comet GT e sem dúvida já pintou meu up.</p>

<p>A Kawasaki, famosa por suas motos esportivas, fez grande alarde no Salão de Motos de Colônia em torno da sua nova linha de motos custom com motor V2 de 1.700 cc. O propulsor que veio substituir o anterior de 1.600 traz ainda um comando de válvulas simples no cabeçote (SOHC) em vez do anterior comando por varetas.<br />
A grande estrela da linha é a Voyager VN 1700, anunciada como a primeira custom japonesa com pára-brisa integral, bem ao estilo da americana Electra-Glide da Harley-Davidson.<br />

Com refrigeração líquida, injeção e acelerador eletrônico, o V2 de exatos 1.700 cm³ produz 75 cv a 5.000 rpm e um torque de mais de 13,1 kgf.m. Além da enorme Voyager, o propulsor ainda vai equipar outros dois modelo: a Classic Tourer com pára-brisa e a Classic, mais básica.</p>
<p>Nova ZX-6R<br />
Na linha de motos de média cilindrada, destaque para o novo modelo supersport, a ZX-6R. Com inúmeras melhorias, do motor ao chassi, a fábrica de Akashi prometeu uma moto muito mais voltada para as pistas, com tecnologia de ponta.</p>
<p>No mesmo segmento de 600cc, a Kawa ainda apresentou o modelo 2009 da naked ER-6n, que traz um motor de dois cilindros paralelos. Uma versão semi-carenada, a ER-6f, também foi mostrada.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="margin-bottom:0;">Per chi non avesse quest'oggi avuto un'improvvisa rivelazione divina sul mio stato attuale: sono andato, insieme alla mia host family, a trovare parte della famiglia, in occasione di una festività nazionale che ancora non mi è ben nota, ma che capirò presumibilmente con il suo arrivo, lunedì. Comunque, sono a due passi da Kawasaki, in uno splendido esempio di edilizia condominiale giapponese: 20 piani di condominio, con parcheggio multipiano automatico accluso, e balconate tutto intorno agli appartamenti per accentuare le vertigini. :P Inutile dire che mi piace moltissimo!</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0;"><em>(breaking news: è tornato il marito dal lavoro. Sono le 10 di sera.)</em></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0;">Tutto questo, solo per raccontarvi di un gesto che ho notato.<br />
In Giappone, quando un bambino fa qualcosa di sbagliato, gli adulti sono autorizzati a dargli uno scappellotto in testa, per dire: “Oeee, che sta' a fa'?”. Il fratello maggiore (7 anni) da uno scappellotto in testa al fratello minore (3 anni), sotto gli occhi del nonno: il nonno gli dice: “Non sei mica adulto tu, non puoi.”. Il fratellone, allora, si mette in ginocchio e dice al fratellino “Dammi 3 scappellotti in testa, così imparo che non si deve fare”; e riceve ciò che gli spetta.</p>

Was sich jeder für seinen eigenen Körper wünscht, nervt in der Bikewelt extrem. Kaum ist das Zweirad bezahlt, sieht der Bock schon wieder alt aus, ist attraktiv wie der Hörzu der Vorwoche.<!--more--></p>
<p>Natürlich wird es auch in den nächsten Jahren das Wettrüsten in der 1000er-Klasse geben. Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki und natürlich auch Kawasaki werden sich auch in Zukunft nichts schenken. Mein Tipp: In vier Jahren haben die 1000er o.a. Hersteller alle 200 PS und ABS.</p>
<p>Im Mittelpunkt der Intermot 2008 in Köln stehen allerdings leistbare und fahrbare Bikes der Mittelklasse. Beispiele: Die Kawasaki ER-6f, die wohl unter 8000 Euro kosten wird und für Einsteiger ein richtig attraktives Bike darstellt. Vorbei die Tage, als Anfänger noch mit der ER-5 Fahrschulflair im Alltag verspürten, es geht auch schicker.</p>
<p>Nächstes Mittelklassebike mit Starpotential: Suzuki SFV 650, optisch wesentlich gelungener als die kantige SV650. Leider gibt es auch hier keinen Preis, Suzuki ist allerdings für agressive Marktteilnahme bekannt und wird wohl unter 8000 Euro begehren.</p>
<p>Mit bekanntem Namen geht die Yamaha XJ6 Diversion an den Start, er bürgte bereits für Qualität und ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.</p>
<p>Was all diesen Neuerscheinungen gemein ist? Sie machen das Abenteuer Motorrad finanziell erschwinglich und werden die Szene beleben. Und davon profitieren wir alle.</p>

Hal ini dapat dilihat dari volume penjualan hingga pertengahan semester kedua ini yang sudah lebih dari 600 unit dari target 540 unit.<br />
Branch Manager PT Sumber Trada Motor Main Dealer Kawasaki Palembang Rando Emirdzon S.Sos, selama tahun 2008 ini penjualan Kawasaki terus menunjukan grafik peningkatan dari bulan ke bulannya.</p>

<p>“Penjualan kami cukup baik, bahkan target bulanan bisa dikatakan selalu tercapai, “ ujarnya kepada koran ini, kemarin.<br />
Dijelaskannya, rata-rata volume penjualan setiap bulannya lebih 60 unit padahal target yang ditetapkan hanya 45 unit. Bahkan September atau Ramadan kemarin penjualan tembus hingga 68 unit. Untuk jenis yang banyak terjual, sejauh ini masih didominasi Ninja dan Athlete dengan komposisi 50 persen berbanding 40 persen, sementara sisanya merata pada produk kawasaki lainnya. ” Untuk yang lain memang tidak begitu besar,” tegasnya.<br />
Dengan kondisi seperti sekarang ini pihaknya sangat optimis target hingga akhir tahun akan tercapai. ” Saat ini saja sudah lebih dari 600 unit, sementara target hanya 450 unit, jadi bisa dipastikan overtarget, ” ujarnya.<br />
Ditambahkan Rando, Kawasaki Ninja adalah produk yang banyak diminati. Hal ini wajar mengingat produk tersebut memiliki banyak keunggulan dibandingkan dengan produk sekelasnya. Terlebih dengan hadirnya Kawasaki Ninja 250 4 tak. Selain itu kehadiran Athelete dipasarkan dengan harga sekitar Rp 14,8 jutaan juga turut berperan dalam mendongkrak angak penjualan.<br />
Dijelaskannya banyak keunggulan dimiliki kendaran underbone 125 cc -4 tak ini, diantaranya sistem pengereman double disk brake dengan desain piringan yang modern, lampu belakang menyatu dengan sein, suspensi depan bergaya motorsport dengan tabung fork berdiameter besar, posisi tangki diatas underbone menjamin kestabilan saat bermanuver dan pengisian bakar tidak perlu turun. Selain sistem suspensi belakang monoshock.<br />
”Untuk mesin menggunakan silinder diagonal membuat sistem pendinginan udara lebih sempurna serta sangat hemat bahan bakar. Satu liter bisa untuk 70 km, ” pungkasnya. (ace)</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Il pilota Ducati, partito dalla pole position, è stato in testa dal primo all'ultimo giro e ha tagliato il traguardo con un distacco circa sei secondi sugli inseguitori.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Grazie alla quinta vittoria della stagione e alla caduta di Dani Pedrosa al primo giro, il Campione del Mondo MotoGP dello scorso anno si assicura il posto d'onore nel campionato 2008. Pedrosa se l'è cavata con una contusione alla gamba sinistra.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Nicky Hayden, futuro compagno di squadra di Stoner in Ducati, ha cercato di tenere il passo del pilota di casa per buona parte della corsa, ma negli ultimi dieci giri l'australiano è riuscito ad allungare. A quel punto Hayden ha dovuto guardarsi le spalle da Valentino Rossi, lanciato all'inseguimento del pilota che lo aveva sconfitto nel campionato 2006.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Rossi ha passato Hayden nel corso dell'ultimo giro costringendo l'americano a chiudere terzo. La rimonta di Rossi, partito dalla sua peggiore posizione in griglia della stagione, è stata semplicemente straordinaria.</p>

<p>Asphalt 4 é mais uma prova de que quando a Gameloft entrou no mercado de iPhones, entrou pra valer. Um jogo de corrida que lembra bastante a consagrada série "Burnout". Corra pelas mais belas cidades do mundo, fuja da polícia, jogue seus competidores para fora da pista e equipe seu carro para obter maior performance.</p>
<p>Os gráficos são muito bem trabalhados e a jogabilidade muito boa também. No total são 28 veículos diferentes entre carros e motos (Corvette, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Bugatti, Ducatti, Kawasaki, etc) e 9 diferentes pistas (New York, Paris, Dubai, Shanghai, etc). Conforme você joga, vai conseguindo mais dinheiro para abrir novos carros e pistas, o que torna o jogo bastante atrativo e viciante. Outra coisa legal é que em cada pista, são 4 corridas diferentes. Uma corrida normal, uma em que você deve jogar para fora da pista todos os seus competidores, uma forma no lugar da polícia, sendo que você deve parar o primeiro colocado, e outra corrida 1x1 em que você escolhe quando dinheiro quer apostar.</p>

<p>Fuja da polícia, use nitro, jogue seus concorrentes para fora da pista, desvie do tráfego, e muito mais, além de aparecer na TV sendo perseguido (a câmera muda para a visualização do helicóptero... o que embora seja bem bonito de se ver, prejudica absurdamente sua visibilidade por alguns segundos) e muito mais. Você ainda consegue algumas modelos conforme vai ganhando dinheiro, e elas te ajudam de alguma forma no decorrer do jogo (tunando seu carro, te liberando da polícia, etc).</p>
<p>A jogabilidade é muito boa, são 3 formas de controle:</p>

<div>Os gráficos são muito bons também, tornando o jogo ainda mais divertido. Os sons são razoáveis. Alguns efeitos sonoros são sempre iguais (as derrapadas e frenagens, por exemplo), o que chega a enjoar depois de um tempo.</div>
<div>Se você espera realismo como na série Gran Turismo, este não é exatamente um jogo para você. Asphalt 4 se aproxima mais do estilo "arcade", e com o tempo você se acostuma a fazer todas as curvas fazendo "drifting".</div>

<title><![CDATA[ハロウィーン]]></title>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It's now <span title="じゅうがつ">十月</span> (October), and ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>) is at the end of this month.</p>
<p>Do you celebrate ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>)? What do you do?</p>
<p>When I was a kid in America, I used to enjoy doing what most American kids do at ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>)...dressing up in a costume and walking around the neighborhood knocking on people's doors to get candy.</p>
<p>Of course I've long outgrown any interest in ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>) for myself...but I have three kids and once they were old enough, I wanted to take them <em>Trick 'R Treating</em>. But knocking on your neighbors' doors and asking to be given candy (or anything else, for that matter) is not something people in Japan would feel comfortable doing.</p>
<p>In fact, when my kids were little there was no ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>) in Japan at all to speak of. So, a couple times, my wife made ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>) costumes for our kids by hand and we invited some of their friends over for a "<em>Halloween Party"</em> at our house. We painted rabbit or mouse faces on the kids and gave them candy and played some games with them.</p>
<p>That was back when they were in <span title="ほいくえん">保育園</span> (Nursery School). But we still buy some candy and small bags now and let our kids give some ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>) presents to their friends.<br />
The only difference now is that many stores in Japan sells ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>) merchandise and candy and costumes! So we can buy ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>) candy and ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>) bags with pictures of "<em>Jack 'O Lanterns</em>" and black cats.</p>
<p>ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>) is still pretty new to Japan though, so many people see the ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>) stuff being sold in the stores and think it looks fun and interesting...but relatively few people actually <strong>purchase</strong> any of it because they wouldn't have any use for a ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>) costume (even if they have kids) or imported American candy (which is usually too sweet for Japanese tastes).</p>
<p>But some people do buy the ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>) decorations and ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>) costumes because there's beginning to be more and more to do to celebrate ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>) in Japan (even if the average Japanese person isn't 100% sure exactly what date in October the holiday falls on...or how the holiday is celebrated in other countries).</p>
<p>Here are a couple pictures of ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>) pumpkins, candy, and other goods that a store was recently selling. I didn't have my camera with me...so I took these two photos with the camera on my <span title="けいたいでんわ">携帯電話</span> (cell-phone):</p>

<p>So, if you're in the Tokyo area at ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>) time and you want to celebrate it "<em>Japanese style</em>, here are some of the places you can go:</p>

<li><strong>Tokyo Disneyland</strong>...from mid-September until October 31, Disneyland has special ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>) decorations and events (for example, if kids see any staff dressed as a witch, then can say "Trick 'R Treat" and get a treat. There's also face painting available).
<p>You can enter the park during  ハロウィーン (<em>Halloween</em>) time wearing a costume...provided that it's a <em>Disney themed</em> costume.</p>

<p>They have a Halloween parade and kids 12 and under can go to stores in the shopping center that have the Halloween poster in their window and say "Trick 'R Treat" to get candy. The kids don't necessarily need to be in costume.</p>

<p>The <em>Tokyo American Club</em> is a very exclusive club with membership by invitation only (plus their membership fees are extremely steep). But if you're a member, they have a Halloween event (but you'd probably already know about it). I don't have a membership...so I've never been.</p>

<li><strong><span title="やまのてせん・はろうぃいん・とれいん">山手線ハロウィーン・トレイン</span> (Yamanote Line Halloween Train)</strong>...late October on the Yamanote Train Line in Tokyo.
<p>This is an unauthorized (and unapproved) event started by foreigners in Tokyo. Every year, some (adult) foreigners meet at a designated time and train station wearing Halloween costumes. I haven't ever participated in this (I haven't worn a Halloween costume since I was a child)...but I've heard that the police and train attendants try to stop it every year because the participants usually drink alcohol and act rowdy on the normally quiet Tokyo trains.</li>

<title><![CDATA[A Bike for Every Man (and Woman)]]></title>

<p class="MsoNormal">With all the bikes out there in the world there is surely something for everyone.<span>  </span>With the exception of a few folks like Jay Leno, most of us will only own one or two bikes at a time.<span>  </span>I am very fortunate to have four scoots in the stable at the moment.<span>  </span>But they each serve a distinct purpose.<span>  </span>There is the 2003 FXSTDI Deuce that I bought after recovering from cancer. She has been my touring rig for the past six years taking me to Sturgis, Daytona, Myrtle Beach, Laconia, and many other destinations throughout the country. There is my tried and true daily rider, a 1949 Panhead, rigid frame, foot clutch, jockey shift, and more fun than I can fit into a day.<span>  </span>Just kicking her over in the morning makes getting up worthwhile.<span>  </span>Then there is the 2002 Shadow 600, which is my wife’s pride and joy.<span>  </span>She loves her “Hondee” and it has been hard trying to talk her into a Harley.<span>  </span>The Shadow just fits her small frame so well.<span>  </span>While I think it would rattle my teeth loose, she has no problem riding it across country.<span>  </span>In fact, I could hardly keep up with her on the last trip to Daytona.<span>  </span>Then there is the newest addition to the family, a 1975 Yamaha XS 650 with American Eagle sidecar.<span>  </span>I just bought this one for the kids.<span>  </span>Mamma has a little trouble with the idea of me taking our two girls (aged 1 and 2.5) out for a spin on the tank of my Harley.<span>  </span>Sooo, I figured a sidecar rig would be perfect for trips to the girls play dates and pre-school activities.<span>  </span>Besides, I can pull the seat out and take the puppy for a ride, or simply fill the sidecar up with ice and beer for the next club run.<span>  </span>The possibilities are endless.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">There are a few other models I would really like to own, and I don’t feel like I am being greedy about it.<span>  </span>I am not asking for the world here, although it feels like it financially.<span>  </span>If I did have the cash, I would want to get myself a Ducati Monster.<span>  </span>The last time I rode a sport bike was when I was about 20 and a friend let me borrow his for a spin.<span>  </span>He told me to take it out onto a nice smooth road in Albuquerque where he lived and wind it up.<span>  </span>As I pulled out of the parking lot, I heard him say to watch the speedo because I would hit 100 before I knew it and the brakes on the bike were in bad shape.<span>  </span>Well, I did take it out and I did hit 100 before I knew it… in fact, before I got out of third gear!<span>  </span>The bike was like glass.<span>  </span>A great ride, but even I knew that I would probably kill myself at that age on that bike.<span>  </span>But now that I am a bit older, and a little more relaxed, I think I could handle it.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The Monster has beautiful lines and, being a Harley guy, I love seeing the engine with the bare naked frame.<span>  </span>This bike is truly a piece of art.<span>  </span>Actually, the Ducati Sport Classic would also be a fine piece to add to the collection.<span>  </span>This bike reminds me of those beautiful café racers that were so popular in the 50’s and 60’s.<span>    </span>While my dad was dating my mom, he rode a gorgeous BSA.<span>  </span>He tried to teach my mom to ride and actually got her to give it a try.<span>  </span>He got her situated, showed her where the clutch was and how to shift with her toe.<span>  </span>He walked her through starting it up and giving it some gas.<span>  </span>Next thing you know she is cruising across the yard and directly up a tree.<span>  </span>Seems dear ol’ dad forgot to tell her where the brakes were.<span>  </span>We really don’t talk about it much anymore.</p>

<p>Speaking of family members, my grandfather was an Indian Man.<span>  </span>And the brand new Indian Chief is one slick bike.<span>  </span>I like the Vintage myself, but fully loaded the thing costs nearly 36 grand.<span>  </span>I am very happy with the thought that this time the alternative American brand just might make it.<span>  </span>If you have not had a chance to check out their proprietary engine, be sure to take a gander.<span>  </span>Beauty.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Now for a little fun for the family, I think it would be really cool to have a set of dirt bikes. <span> </span>Actually, because we live in Houston, where the off road terrain is slim pickings and the MX Tracks are quite a ways away, I would totally dig a dual purpose machine.<span>  </span>This is the kind of thing I drooled over in 1985.<span>  </span>Living in New Mexico, I thought the opportunity to ride on the street and play in the dirt on the same machine would be the perfect blend.<span>  </span>Kawasaki has come out with a completely re-designed KLR 650 that looks like it would totally fit the bill.<span>  </span>In fact, I am already planning on looking for a used 2008 model.<span>  </span>I will start looking for it in 2013, but I am planning on looking for it.<span>  </span>The bike is priced very reasonably new so I figure I could get one for a couple grand used.</p>

<p>I have also been thinking of putting my soon to be middle aged rump into the seat of a new FLHXI Street Glide.<span>  </span>Harley has finally upgraded each of their bike line-ups and they have really hit one out of the park with their touring models.<span>  </span>I remember after the Dyna upgrades chatting with a sales person at the local HD Dealership.<span>  </span>He asked me what I thought Harley should do next.<span>  </span>I said stiffen the frame of the touring line.<span>  </span>He looked at me like I was nuts and said there was no reason for that.<span>  </span>Well, he no longer works there, so I suppose I don’t have to worry about some idiot trying to sell a bike to me without even having an idea of what the customer base wants.<span>  </span>I personally think Harley has done right by their loyal following.<span>  </span>And, their current marketing trends, while being open to some question, seem to be getting more riders on their bikes… but that whole issue is another story all together.</p>

<p>Actually, I am a bit torn between the Street Glide and the Electra Glide Standard (FLHTI).<span>  </span>The Standard has a raw engine that is just simply Old School Cool.<span>  </span>It looks beautiful the way it is.<span>  </span>The Standard also offers itself up to full customization by coming in two grand less than the Street Glide and offering a bare bones set-up.<span>  </span>That two grand can do a lot.<span>  </span>However, I would probably lower the Standard, add a radio, a short windshield, and maybe even new mirrors.<span>  </span>Before you know it, I have spent the two grand making the Standard into the Street Glide.<span>  </span>Merging the two models; the sleek, low stance of the FLHXI with its small bullet lights, tucked in mirrors, and short windscreen, with the sexy raw motor of the FLHT and it’s passing lamps would make a perfect platform.<span>  </span>Bump the engine to a 103in, add a 21in front wheel, black out the front end, throw on some pipes and you are ready to travel across country and back in style and comfort… no need for crazy trunk packs and leg fairings, and the other jive that is on the FLHTCU (Ultra Classic).<span>  </span>Keep it a bit simpler, a bit lighter, and a bit sexier.<span>  </span>Yeah, that is the touring rig I would like to have in my garage.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Per ragioni di sicurezza e costi, la commissione Grand Prix, composta da Mr.Carmelo Ezpeleta (Dorna, CEO), Claude Danis (FIM), Hervé Poncharal (IRTA) e Takanao Tsubouchi (MSMA), in presenza di Paul Butler (Segretario della riunione), in una riunione presso il circuito di Motegi, ha deciso all'unanimità di introdurre una nuova modifica per la classe MotoGP.<!--more--></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">La commissione Grand Prix ha deciso all'unanimità che nel 2009 ci sarà un unico fornitore di pneumatici. Le case produttrici avranno tempo fino a venerdi 3 ottobre per presentare la propria proposta. La decisione finale verrà presa dalla commissione al più tardi il 18 ottobre.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Il CEO di Dorna, Carmelo Ezpeleta ha dichiarato a riguardo:</p>

Pengiklan biasanya melakukan riset pasar untuk menentukan appeal mana yang paling berdampak pada sampel audiens sasaran. Sejumlah atau setidaknya dua alternatif pesan iklan yang masing-masing punya proposition yang berbeda dievaluasi dan diperingkat berdasarkan faktor desirability, exclusiveness dan believability.</p>

<p style="line-height:100%;margin:.1cm .2cm 0;">Setelah core selling proposition selesai dirumuskan, maka tahap selanjutnya adalah bagaimana mengeksekusinya menjadi pesan. Tahap eksekusi sangat menentukan. Selain pada apa yang hendak dikomunikasikan, dampak iklan juga bergantung pada bagaimana pesan tersebut disampaikan.  Sejumlah iklan lebih membidik rational positioning, sementara lainnya mengutamakan emotional positioning.  <!--more-->Penyajian fitur dan benefit spesifik dimaksudkan untuk menggugah rasionalitas audiens, seperti: “Mencuci pakaian lebih bersih”;  “Melenyapkan rasa sakit segera“. </p>

<p style="line-height:100%;margin:.1cm .2cm 0;">Perspektif  pemasar dan personel kreatif bisa berbeda bila produk dibeli lebih karena alasan kesenangan dan fantasi.  Iklan produk ini umumnya dikaitkan dengan lambang-lambang yang membangkitkan emosi positif dan fantasi.  Kawasaki di Amerika, misalnya, pernah sukses mengembangkan simbolisme bagi produk sepeda motornya dengan iklan yang menggambarkan seorang pengelana kesepian sedang membelok tajam di tikungan di jalanan gersang nan sepi dengan lututnya hampir menyentuh tanah. Iklan ini berhasil memancarkan rasa kebebasan, kecepatan, bahaya, dan kontak dengan alam – pendeknya, emosi bukan performa produk itu sendiri.</p>
<p style="line-height:100%;margin:.1cm .2cm 0;" align="justify">Pengamatan atas iklan teve akan menunjukkan pentingnya simbolisme produk. Iklan untuk mobil mahal, kosmetik, pakaian, peralatan olah raga,  dan sejumlah produk lainnya seringkali menggunakan perlambang yang dimaksudkan untuk membangkitkan asosiasi emosi positif.  Jasa juga sering dikaitkan dengan emosi dan kesenangan.  Sifatnya yang tidak-berwujud menyulitkan pemasar mengkomunikasikan benefit khusus, sehingga pengiklan memakai perlambang yang memperkuat rasa aman atau kegembiraan.  Prudential memakai simbol perbukitan batu untuk menggambarkan rasa aman;  sedangkan perusahaan sekuritas Merrill Lynch memakai seekor banteng untuk menggambarkan sukses finansial.</p>

<p style="line-height:100%;margin:.1cm .2cm 0;" align="justify">Personel kreatif mesti memutuskan gaya, nada, kata-kata dan format yang kohesif dalam tahap eksekusi pesan ini.  Semua pesan biasanya dapat disajikan dengan berbagai style: gaya hidup, cuplikan hidup, fantasi, mood atau citra, musikal, lambang kepribadian, keahlian teknis, bukti ilmiah, dan testimoni. Renald Khasali, misalnya, memberikan testimoni untuk mendukung: “Orang Pintar Minum Tolak Angin”.</p>
<p style="line-height:100%;margin:.1cm .2cm 0;" align="justify">Komunikator mesti memilih nada iklan yang tepat. Procter and Gamble memilih nada positif secara konsisten, iklan-iklannya selalu mengkomunikasikan benefit positif produk secara superlatif.  Humor juga dihindari sehingga tidak membelokkan perhatian dari pesan. Sebaliknya,  iklan-iklan FedEx banyak menekankan pada situasi lucu ketimbang produk itu sendiri.</p>

<p style="line-height:100%;margin:.1cm .2cm 0;" align="justify">Unsur format seperti ukuran iklan, warna, dan ilustrasi akan sangat mempengaruhi dampak iklan. Ukuran iklan yang besar jelas akan mengerek biaya pembuatan dan pemasangannya, walau tak selalu diiringi dengan peningkatan dampak iklan secara proporsional. Biasanya pembaca iklan cetak tertarik pada gambarnya yang harus dirancang cukup mencolok supaya dapat menarik perhatian. Lalu judulnya harus disusun sedemikian rupa sehingga mendorong orang untuk membaca keseluruhan teks (copy).</p>

<p style="line-height:100%;margin:.1cm .2cm 0;" align="justify">Menurut  estimasi,  iklan yang sangat bagus akan diperhatikan oleh 50 persen audiens yang melihatnya. Sekitar 30 persen audiens yang terekspos mungkin akan ingat dengan judulnya; sekitar 25 persen mungkin mengingat nama pengiklan; dan kurang dari 10 persen akan sempat membaca sebagian besar teks. Tentu saja bisa dibayangkan bagaimana dengan iklan yang hanya biasa-biasa saja. Pelbagai riset mendapati kriteria-kriteria iklan yang menarik perhatian dan terus diingat, yaitu:  inovasi (produk baru atau cara penggunaan yang baru), “daya tarik cerita” (misalnya bertaruh kawin dengan monyet), ilustrasi sebelum dan sesudah, demo produk, pemecahan masalah, dan penempelan ciri relevan yang menjadi lambang merek (busur lengkung McDonald's).</p>
