It is looking good enough. Here's what are the images for. The first one, smile and frown for the obvious reasons.The second one, my name, it reads "Syed Mohammad Shahnawaz Tauseef". The third one, for all that,  it means, praying together. The fourth one, for love.

All that we have and we need. Life is all smile and frown, we have ourselves, faith and love.

Just thought and made. I took a couple of hours to do it.

However, men have always been weary of the man-cardigan thinking it makes them look too grandfather-like. Well, no more.

In my experience, only the most attractive and confident of men wear a cardie. In a quick survey amongst friends, we came to the conclusion that if a man wore one on your first date, you would fancy him more. Fancy that.

Michael Kors and J. Crew brought the cardigan back into fashion on the catwalks. They are warmer and more comfortable than ever, some people even using them instead of jackets.

Possibly the greatest thing about this garment is that it is seasonless. You can always wear one. In fact, I have very few jumpers, just mountains of cardies.

They are not that expensive either if you've been paying attention my fellow fashionistas. Go to Paul Smith for a refreshingly bright orange item or for students like me go to H&M or even Primark to snap up that bargain.

It's a staple, get with it, buy one et voila! A new look.

I have been trying for a new look for this blog sooo... It might be this one or I may change, until I'm  comfortable with one.  This one so far ...good.  I 'd like  it to be easy to read for myself as well as anyone else reading.  You know sometimes PC screens can be shocking for the eyes to adjust to.  Well don't stay on line so long!  OK lovey dovey.   Exhale...

There's nothing to say about the quality of Freya Rose's collection apart from it's amazing. Her Thorns & Roses Autumn/Winter 2008 collection are elegant luxury shoes.

I have to confess that being a girl who has a slight obsession with shoes, Klimt and art nouveau (both cited as inspirations for Thorns & Roses), this was the collection I was looking forward to seeing most at FaCshion. And I was impressed, especially by the Sonrisa: love the high back and the curve it creates.

However, I was also mildly disappointed, but perhaps it wasn't the fault of the collection. See, I'd expected to be blown away by the details and the uniqueness of the design as well as by the quality and elegance, and it just didn't work out that way, because the designs have already leaked into the high street. I kept replaying images of shoes captured in my memory from New Look, Topshop etc and comparing them to shoes in the collection.

Well sometimes there's no comparison.

Can I detach the New Look bow if I don't like it? I think not. But the rose? Yes. And that's not looking at the elegant lines on the Freya Rose that the New Look just doesn't have. But then there's...

Again, no elegant lines on the Barratts shoe that really sets the Freya Rose apart, but I almost like the matching heel and flower colour combi more than the plain red Amore.

Same black and gold design, but the although the gold around the rim of the shoe and the lines down the front make the Freya Rose look much more sophisticated, I quite like the sticking out bit at the back in the Topshop one.

Lastly...

The front part of the Freya Rose is much thinner than the old season Topshop, giving it a more elegant... Hang on. They're completely different shoes. Hang on... Wait. I've got the wrong deja vu. Here's what the Topshop looks like, once you've stripped away all that tacky gold.

Sorry. I think I got carried away and completely wandered off topic. What I was going to say is that although the designs look familiar, therefore, for me, lost a certain oomph, I can still see that the details set Freya Rose apart. And what really excites me, as someone who's got a slightly awkward shoesize, is the Made To Order section that should be coming soon.

You will notice a new look for the blog, though. I managed to play with themes this afternoon, while downing Beechams to try and clear my head and chest of this damn cold. It’s sticking at me rather heartily, and isn’t showing signs of leaving me alone before the weekend. Thanks for sharing it with me, Kaylea. Hmmm.

Anyway, I have the blog posts from my holiday to put up (they will be back-dated, so will appear randomly) plus a few reviews and other random blog posts. I do have the best of intentions to now keep this blog as up to date as I can, so I can build up my readership (does anyone read this blog? Anyone at all?) and keep you all entertained. Hopefully.

I usually remember numbers because I hear a rhythm in them. It's kind of annoying, actually. My dad's 1976 license plate number was 71D7140, my first girlfriend's phone number was 234-6448, my first middle-school locker combination was 6-44-40, my first credit card (account closed for more than 20 years, so don't get any ideas) was 4302-3801-0157-6430. So it's typical of me that I remembered bus number 2163 from 29 years ago.

I was 12 and I sang in the school choir. Practice began at 7 am, long before school buses came through my neighborhood. My parents did not believe in shuttling their children to activities. "If you want it bad enough," Dad said, "you will find a way to get there." So I set aside enough money from my allowance to ride the city bus to school on choir mornings. I walked to a bus stop in the dark at 6:30 a.m. three mornings a week.

Every day, it was the same driver. Almost every day he drove the bus with the number 2163 painted over the door. Every day, he picked up the same handful of riders, all going to various jobs. Nobody spoke, at least until the last of the other riders got off at the mall. Then the driver and I were alone for the last ten minutes before we reached the school, and we took to chatting those minutes away. It turned out that he was as much an old-car buff as I was. He told me he was hot-rodding an old Model A, and it was in parts all over his garage. I found the whole thing fascinating. So one morning when he was running ahead of schedule, he stopped his bus in front of his house, which just happened to be on the route. He lifted his garage door and gave me a quick look-see at his Model A. It was pretty cool.

The next year, my brother and one of his friends joined choir, too, and the friend's dad drove us.

Yesterday, somebody commented on a photo in my Flickr space that shows a South Bend bus that looks like a trolley. I clicked to see that fellow's photos. He's a bus fan (there's a quiet but thriving group of them out there!) and had this photo of an old South Bend bus in its final resting place, a northern Indiana junkyard. And there, over the driver's window, is its number: 2163.

Che a C. piacessero tutte le razze si era già visto a New York, e inoltre sapevamo che aveva un debole per Sandra Oh. C. col nuovo taglio e colore si vuole ispirare probabilmente, oppure inconsciamente, alla sua rivale da sempre Samantha Ronson, l'unica ragazza che le ha seriamente rubato la sua Lindsay Lohan. Forse è per questo che C. non riesce ad avere relazioni stabili con altri, tra cui anche Mischa, come abbiamo visto, e finchè non riuscirà ad avere Lindsay tutta per sè, non sarà contenta.

In quest'altra foto invece possiamo notare che Sandra e C. sono sempre insieme e qui si stanno battendo per i diritti del famoso locale fiorentino YAG indossando la divisa nazionale LL.
