Last night at the Giglio In Fashion Store (Via Libertà 44, Palermo), the inauguration of the Pink Attitude Tour Exhibition. The exhibition is going to be visitable inside the store up to the 18th of October.

Last night from 19:30 some of the 23 artists took part the event for the promotion of the Pink Attitude Tour.
This is not the first time that Giglio Group deals with the world of Art and Fashion. Erica Mannari, whose artistic alter ego is named after Pink Sublime, is the creator of the Pink Attitude movement. she was there too, as author of the book “The Pink Attitude, the Contemporary Female creativity".

Pink Attitude is a real artistic movement, inspired by strong female will and passion for freedom of expression.

The incipit of the book clarify the meaning and the approach of the movement, with an intense explanation I would like to share with you: “Pink Attitude is a way of living, of perceiving, of speaking, of moving, of thinking…Pink Attitude mixes the seductive power of sweetness and fragility with the irresistible force of sexuality and determination… Pink Attitude is the natural result of this particular moment in time which mixes culture with trash, beauty with ugliness, love with hate, day and night, man with woman.."

Twenty three artists from all over the planet are sharing this amazing feeling, they are lending their perspective of life and femininity through their images, which can be harsh sometimes, but the result of an experience, the visual shout of life and its many pieces, with all the different aspects this could imply.

Let’s remind again that the exhibition is up to the 18th of October at the Giglio In Fashion Store with some of the extraordinary works of these extraordinary women which are for sale.

Fendi’s woman for next 2009 summer is a combination of round shapes, following next summer attention of fashion towards geometric games. The circle is the mirror of the new femininity, the circle as symbol of eternity and perfection.

 Gorgeous Gucci collection by Frida Giannini with amazing colours and surreal atmospheres. A melange of looks is what Gucci woman will be like: 70ees style with a touch of safari, a woman who likes travelling and adventures.

Designer Frida Giannini, the creative director of the Gucci maison, confessed she got inspired by strong and brave Oriana Fallaci. From here, tailleurs and suites with Saharan jackets, dresses and hats for an Iniana Jones style. For the night, lots of luxury maxi dresses, an enchanting visual melody for a woman who chooses the night as best moment to reveal her sensuality. Gucci collection prefers strong tonalities of colours like blue, turquoise, red, purple and orange.

The Just Cavalli woman explodes on a sandy catwalk, faithful to the distinctive savage soul she’s always been keen on. The Just Cavalli 2009 spring summer collection presents softer tones, less animal print dresses and trousers. In fact, this collection focuses on a 20ees style with light little dresses, lace and patchwork printed fabrics with pastel colours.

As for Frankie Morello, colour is the first thing of his collection too. He plays with richness and chromatic variety for a perfect game. White and safari beige appear on their own and in lively combinations too, with strong colours such as purple and dark yellow. Splendid mini dresses and skirts, long or stretch, incredibly short trousers with Saharan style jackets, this and so much more for a sparkling collection whose creations are the mirror of Frankie Morello style.

Miss Armani dresses in grey, white, blue, a classical approach for a Miss in love with small jackets, lacer and wide décolleté too. Skirts are light with waterfall like movement, Armani leads his woman from day to night, classic tailleurs at work, and cocktail dresses at night.

For one week, up to the 27th of September, I am going to witness for you the main designers collections and their suggestions for next summer. The calendar is full of your favourite names, like Frankie Morello, Roberto Cavalli, Giorgio Armani, Alberta Ferretti, Prada, Gucci, Fendi, Versace.

Today, I am going to show you some of the shots from Moschino Cheap&Chic 2009 summer collection. Moschino collections have always been known for their use of colours and light lines for a young woman with a strong self being and freedom seeking attitude. Dresses remind of dawns and sunsets, gently caressing shapes and picturing summery fantasies with flowery and rocky patterns. You would have read news reports that more police reports were made against RPK today.

And going by what we’ve seen of late, more charges may follow.

RPK says he doesn’t give two hoots anymore.

Which is why we must.

And what RPK needs now more than ever is a judiciary that’s going to hear and decide the present and any more charges leveled against him in accordance with law, free of any outside influence.

You’ve all probably signed the petition to His Majesty the Agong with regard to the appointment and promotion of judges pending the setting up of the Judicial Appointments Commission, if it ever does under the present administration.

Let’s start with actress Tilda Swinton, co star with George Clooney and Brad Pitt of the movie “Burn after reading”. She picked a Christian Dior dress for the press conference; it was a particular yellow dress enriched with coloured details and orange and turquois appliqués.

In fact, she wore an Alberta Ferretti long pleated mustard dress for the red carpet; Claudia Schiffer too chose an Alberta Ferretti dress, an elegant pearl grey one shoulder dress for the premier.

Here we are, ready to let ourselves indulge into the never-ending cinema fairy tale… In particular, I am going to share with you what Venezia film festival means in terms of fashion, its red carpet as a venue of show parades and fantastic cloth dreams….

And when I though everything will go well after that, my worst nightmare strike!! My GF got knock down by a motorbike riden by a STUPID Indian on her way to work while crossing road last Monday morning. But praise the Lord she safe. This is what actually happens~

My GF left home about 8am like usual. When she's trying to cross a road to take bus to her office bout 8.15am, she got knock by a motorbike riden by an Idian guy and his GF crusing between cars cause it's terribilly jam at the peek hour (what, they dont even have a scrathes) . Instanly my GF stand up to pick her shoes, bag and walk herself to the road side with bloody and swallon forehead and arm. While the Indian guy still shouting at my GF ; Are you blind? Who's paying to repair my bike? How you want to settle this? NON-STOP.

At the moment I reach there after receving a call from my GF, (Normally I dont switch on my phone till I reach office, but that day was different) and when I saw her cover with blood, I really feel the ache inside me (praise the Lord again she's fine now). Immediately I ran over to her sitting at the roadside, and trying to help her up and bring her to neardy clinic.

But when I was helping her to stand, the indian guy came forward and push me on my shoulder and say, how you want to settle this or want to make a police report? Then I reply him with making a police report will be better. And that's when he push me again harder this time and shouted at me, what report report? I want you to settle it now. He get even more aggressive and wanted to wack me in the face when his other friend arrive and his GF stop him. I've got no choice seing my GF in pain, so I bring him to nearby workshop with 2 of his friend following together. After 5min at the workshop, I rush back to my GF and bring her to Hospital cause the local clinic said she need to take X-ray.

We made a traffic police report later that night after she rest enough at home. Since there's still no respond from the police until today, I was just wondering ARE THEY REALLY DOING THEIR WORK? And the purpose for me to write this post is to ask public to BEWARE of this motorbike HONDA EX-5 (reg. no. WKL 2807) crusing around KL area (mostly Setapak) and I've attached some photo I've taken of the road bullies bike.
