<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:x-small;font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial;">Well the most interesting thing is that the Prius was top of the class for just 2 years, and it superseded a car which produced 20% less CO2 than any car on sale today. Progress eh?</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:x-small;font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial;">Between 2000 and 2005 (when it was no longer on sale), the cleanest car in the UK was a little-known, slightly strange looking vehicle called the Honda Insight. A hybrid ahead of its time, it produced just 80g/km. To put that in context, the Toyota Prius produces 104g/km. A good secondhand one will cost you from £4,000 now in the UK. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:x-small;font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial;">The Toyota did indeed reign king of the clean cars for 2006 &#38; 2007, but has recently dropped back to 3<sup>rd</sup>= place – a position that can only get worse until Toyota release the next generation Prius, promised for 2009/2010. Currently the lowest CO2 producers sold in the UK are the Ecomotion Seat Ibiza and the BlueMotion VW Polo, both from the VW group. So the current (as of the beginning of September 2008) top ten* are:</span></span></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Bij deze wil ik mij verontschuldigen voor de lange afwezigheid op deze blog, en bij deze wil ik ook zeggen wat de redenen hiertoe waren. </p>
<p>Eerst en vooral het ik de hele maand juli een vakantiejob gehad in de Lunch Garden in Oostakker. Dus was er niet zo overdreven veel vrije tijd over, en de tijd die ik had wou ik dan het liefst doorbrengen met mijn vriendinnetje.</p>
<p>Tweede reden is een serieus technisch probleem, namelijk harde schijf geheugen. Die is nu al enkele weken compleet op, en dus heb ik mij een externe harde schijf besteld (ééntje van 500 GB, zodat ik even voort kan). Maar het moet nu net lukken dat dat computerwinkeltje gesloten was wegens verlof tot vandaag. Nu is het dus hopen dat ik snel een mailtje krijg dat de harde schijf binnen is.</p>
<p>Je moet nu ook wel niet denken dat ik compleet stil gezeten heb op fotografisch gebied, ik heb ondertussen al 4 mappen (ongeveer 4 GB) met foto's klaarstaan (op mijn oude computer) die photoshop nog zouden moeten passeren. Dus vanaf ik die harde schijf heb, schiet ik in actie.</p>
<p>Hopelijk tot binnenkort.</p>

<p>P.S.: Voor de geïnteresseerden: intussen is mijn autootje ook geleverd, dus nu ben ik de trotse eigenaar van een gloednieuwe Peugeot 107.</p>

<p>Het is eigenlijk zo goed als de zelfde wagen, alleen is de vervangwagen een 3-deurs bezine model in het grijs, en zal mijn wagen een 5-deurs diesel model zijn in het zwart.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://automobiliusate.files.wordpress.com/2008/05/toyota_aygo_usata.jpg"></a>Stessa abitabilità, stesse linee arrotondate, pensate per muoversi con disinvoltura ed agilità nel traffico cittadino, queste tre city car, sono nate nel 2005 da un’unica piattaforma, frutto della collaborazione tra le tre case automobilistiche, appunto, Peugeot-Citroen-Toyota.Ci siamo già soffermati sull’usato <a title="Peugeot 107" href="http://www.automobili-usate.org/?p=7">Peugeot 107</a>, adesso, a distanza di tre anni dalla loro uscita sul mercato diamo uno sguardo alle due sorelle maggiori:<!--more--></p>
<p><strong><a href="http://automobiliusate.files.wordpress.com/2008/05/citroenc1_usata.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-52" src="http://automobiliusate.wordpress.com/files/2008/05/citroenc1_usata.jpg" alt="Citroen C1" width="380" height="284" /></a> Citroen C1</strong>: economica nell’uso grazie ai costi limitati delle riparazioni e alle motorizzazioni dai consumi ridotti, è la prima city car a montare un motore diesel. l’HDi da 54 cv che raggiunge i 155 km/h di velocità massima con un’accelerazione da 0 a 100 orari in 15 secondi e mezzo e con ottimi consumi che consentono alla vettura di percorrere circa 25 chilometri con 1 litro di gasolio. Purtroppo il propulsore diesel 1.400 cc non monta il filtro antiparticolato, quindi conviene valutare l’acquisto di una Citroen C1 usata anche nella sua versione benzina. <strong>Sul mercato dell’usato, i prezzi variano dagli 8000€ per un modello di due anni d’età, ai 9.000 per una Citroen C1 usata, sotto l’anno di vita.</strong></p>

Raggiunge i 160 km/h di velocità massima, con accelerazioni, da 0 a 100 orari in 13 secondi e mezzo, circa, con un ottimo consumo, visto che la vettura con 1 litro di benzina percorre 22 chilometri. <strong>Chi acquista una Toyota Aygo usata da meno di tre anni, può cavarsela con 7500€, mentre per un modello di due anni ne occorrono 8.500 e 9500 per uno esemplare dello scorso anno.</strong></p>

La telefon a răspunsul ginerele ei, care cică aproape a leşinat când a auzit grozăvia. Şi, culmea, pe biletul de tombolă, baba scrisese ca principală doleanţă că vrea să se reducă preţul biletelor la transportul în comun. :))</p>
<p>Mi-e ciudă, recunosc, pentru că şi eu pusesem acolo un bileţel de tombolă... Ahhhhh Peougeotul meu s-a dus... Până la urmă, na, era galben, şi nu vreau ca prima mea maşină să fie galbenă :D</p>
<p>În altă ordine de idei: marea tombolă a lui Groza l-a dus în sondaje la uriaşa cifră de 2 la sută (conform unui sondaj comandat de TV Oltenia şi efectuat de nu ştiu ce societate, dat publicităţii azi). Mai mult, rămâne întrebarea: Maşina de la tombola lui Groza a fost plătită de Groza, aşa cum s-a lăudat prin conferinţe? Eu cred că nu. O zi bună să aveţi!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="justify">In a previous post I said that I'd wait to decide what things I was going to change in 2008. Well today I did the first thing. I bought a new car. My old car is 3 years old and has been nothing but trouble for me. It has been a source of bad luck right from the moment I bought it. </p>
<p align="justify">I don't like big cars, never have. I'm not a car person, I'm the opposite of a petrol head. I know very little about cars and I'm not really all that interested. As long as I know where to put the petrol and I'm snug and warm, then that's fine with me. I don't do long distances in mine, I'm the living definition of social, domestic and pleasure.</p>
<p align="justify">I've been looking at some small cars over the past few weeks and out of all the small cars on the market my favourites have been the Peugeot 107 and the Citroen C2.</p>
