The first unofficial Child Rebel Soldier video? "Everybody Nose(Remix)" video directed by Hype Williams. I like the 8-bit retro video game theme with the Donkey Kong and Space Invaders backgrounds. Lu and Pusha both have their lyrical prowess on display here while Ye and Pharrell simply overwhelm the track by their sheer egotistical presence. Check out the cameo by Nigo, who is the unofficial silent 4th member of CRS.

So its been almost a week exactly since i have seen kanye west. The man behind the amazing music of graduation, brought his concert series to Cincinnati, Ohio, and god was the show good. See we go to the show late because of complications, so lupe I'm sorry we only caught daydream, but it was still good. NERD was crazy shit too, they're energy on stage is electrifying, the got the crowd pumped i tell you. Not even joking seeing the star trek sign thrown up over the whole us bank arena, sent chills down my spin, and cooling my body to the coldest point. Madness. Finally after a long setup, The brightest star in the universe came on stage and showed us what it is. He is entertainment, hands down, kanye west is a genius in his own right, and I just love him for his passion. I haven't seen somebody with such a love of what the do. I envy this to such a heavy degree. the show was simply spectacular. Also his style. emaculate.

What up billionaire boys and girls? I was just chillin' at the crib today, doin' some stuff, when it hit me, that urge to know: just what has Pharrell been up to? Well, if you didn't know, I'm gonna tell you. Pharrell Williams' latest media appearance has been causing quite a buzz in the fashion world, or at least in my own little world. For the August issue of Russian Vogue, Pharrell did a photoshoot with supermodel Natasha Poly, most known for her fashion modeling with labels like Gucci, and working with photographer Terry Richardson, a very well-known fashion photographer. In the spread, Pharrell is fitted with Louis Vuitton as well as his own label, Billionaire Boys Club apparel. Most pictures feature the young producer actin' a fool...just the way we like him. Lookin' fly, Mister Williams. Damn, I want that belt buckle...

Asher Roth: New king of the burbs

You all remember John Brown from the white rapper show? You know the guy who was all about "ghetto revival" and how he was "the king of the burbs". Even though he was a bad rapper, he was good T.V. Well, he is king no more. Because there is a new "college kid" who goes by the name of Asher Roth.

So being a white boy from Morrisville, PA. and having rhymes that impress the likes of Rifkind, Andre, and Jay-Z, he is in good shape. However not much is known about Asher except that he is a baby on the rap scene, and quite talented.

He's dropping a mixtape titled Asher Roth: The Greenhouse effect. The tracks on the mixtape are pretty hot, but it's his rhymes that really get you. Constantly witty, and always funny, he sticks to the college kid image with tracks like Rub on yo' Titties, and Morning Do (which is clearly about morning sex). People say he sounds like a young Marshall Mathers, only more friendly. But I am confident when I say this kid is going to be big, and if not, then everybody sucks.

The clip is different if nothing else. I only watched it once and in part, so I could rush to share it with you. I haven't decided if I like it yet...

This is a sneek peak to Common's forthcoming album "Invincible Summer". From what I've heard so far, it's been quiet a departure from his previous work, relying more to synthesizer over sample. He might get criticize for making something different but in my opinion, it's a good thing. Let's hope that the whole album is just as good.
