Tater bug, hereafter known as CURIOUS GEORGIE, because everybody who sees her says, "she looks like a little monkey" the way she clings to me and climbs stuff so effortlessly - but I digress.  Georgie has had a rough couple of nights.  We visited my parents to help with "Cartman's" garage sale/bake sale fundraiser, and Georgie did NOT sleep well.  She had screaming fits both nights, refused to take bottles, cried for daddy (Roy stayed home because of work) and was pretty much unhappy during the night.  Leaving me pretty well fried (Hello, Ms. Hyde - jeez, I wish PMS was just something I could talk about instead of experiencing firsthand. SIGH!) and I am pretty much unable to tolerate anything.

In order to sleep, Georgie was sandwiched in the queensized bed between Curly (who likes to take half the bed anyway) and myself - both of whom tossed & turned because we weren't home - and a drive in the van while gas is $3/gallon is the only thing that puts her to sleep - and I am pretty well a zombie.  SO - MOMMY NEEDS A LATTE!!!

P.S. - More info will be posted about Cartman's fundraiser when I have more details...  Oh, and his parents & I had a discussion about how much like Cartman my nephew, Caden, has become.  He's developed this deep, raspy voice (don't know if that's a side effect of the chemo & steroids, or if it's because he's just really mad at the world), and he walks around with this kind of "screw you guys. i'm going home" attitude.  Maybe Cartman needs a latte???

XDIn case anybody don't have any idea, it's Pre-Menstrual Syndrom. A syndrom which is very common among girls, and even boyfriends. It usually happens 3 - 4 days before period.Symptoms:

  • Abdominal bloating**
  • Abdominal cramps****
  • Breast tenderness or swelling**
  • Stress or anxiety**
  • Trouble falling asleep (insomnia)*
  • Joint or muscle pain
  • Headache*
  • Fatigue**
  • Acne**
  • Mood swings***
  • Worsening of existing skin disorders, and respiratory (eg, allergies, infection) or eye (bulbar disturbances, conjunctivitis) problems

Oh, not mentioned above, another symptom is your appetite for food. You think about food all the time. When I'm all tucked up in bed ready to sleep, my mind goes "What I want to eat tomorrow...". I'd buy lots of chocolates and junk foods. Heh.

When talking about mood swings, I'm sure most of you had experieced yourself, your mother, your sister or your girlfriend. I once asked by my brother, "Are you on PMS ?" because of the way I speak and my gloomy face. But it keeps me thinking that, can't we control the emotions ? In my case, I'd become very sensitive, easy to cry and I'd feel irritated on most of the things around me. Feeling angry, annoyed at simple things and not to mention feeling concious of people looking at everything I do.

The best way for me is being by myself until my period comes. I'll sit infront of my computer, doing my things, writing, surfing, online shopping, listening to romantic songs, etc. I like to go to the convinient shop alone, buying snacks. But actually I hate when I'm being really sensitive and emotional. I'd cry if people raise their voice to me. I feel useless and unwanted. We can't avoid it (we do not even realize it's happening). So if you're family or very close to that person, maybe you could understand that we're in unstable state of emotions. It might sound unfair to others... I don't know how to say this hmhm.

The funny thing is, sometimes, when boys get so emotional and having bad moods, we always assume that he's also having the PMS. Hehehe.

So, now I feel the need to go back and re-evaluate my performance, because, honestly, if I had known what I was dealing with, I think I might have had a bit of an easier time with it. It explains all of the unnecessary crying (like waking up crying about sex/intimacy/whatever the fuck else my problem was) and it contributed towards my nasty streak I'm sure.

Not that either of those things wasn't there in and of itself, but if I had realized exactly how much of it was hormones...

Well, it probably wouldn't have a made a difference.

I'm recently back on the pill. It's a low-dose pill, but I think the influx of hormones is making me nuts. Seriously. I'm tripping over my own feet. And I'm running into things. I've got so many bruises on my arms and legs, it looks like I'm being beaten. The other day I cut myself with a knife, which I NEVER do, and was bleeding so badly, I had to stop cooking and sit down.

I'm also forgetful and simple mental challenges totally throw me over the edge. I went to Costco to buy freezer bags. Big ones. I looked at the box of quart-size bags and at the box for the gallon-size bags. Now everyone, including me, knows that a gallon is bigger than a quart. So. of course, I bought the quart-size thinking they were bigger. Then I threw away the receipt. Thankfully, Costco put a very flexible return policy in place to account for cover for people like me, but I'm bruised and stupid all of a sudden.

AND. And I'm completely forgetful. The other day I couldn't remember what it was that I was supposed to purchase in the grocery store. So I stood in the middle of Giant's produce section for like ten minutes. I'm standing there trying to remember what I'm supposed to buy and this store worker person comes by and asks me if I'm alright. Actually, no, I'm not alright, I'm totally losing my mind and I'm running into things and I'm not brainy all of a sudden and it's totally throwing me for a loop.

So I'm making lists. To keep myself straight. I've got post-its all over my desk, in my purse and on my bathroom mirror so that I won't forget what it is I'm supposed to remember.

I'm buried by post-its, people, so if I'm supposed to do something for you or send you something or meet you somewhere, please gently remind me. Chances are, I don't have a post-it for that.

Schreiten wir also zur nächsten Kategorie ... PMS ... jaaaaaa, ihr lieben Männers. Klein Jani wird heute zum besten geben, wie sehr sich Frauen in aller Welt Monat für Monat für Monat quälen müssen nur um eure Frucht in unseren Körpern austragen zu können. Selbst bei der Geburt helft ihr nicht. Hockt stattdessen in der Kneipe an der Ecke und sauft euch schon mal das "Vatersein" schön. Dreckschweine. Alle miteinander.

Zur Schwangerschaft hat es bei mir ja noch nicht gereicht. Dafür aber allmonatlich zu Krämpfen, Übelkeit, Durchfall und Fressattacken! Hätte mein Papa nur die Socken beim Sex angelassen. Dann wäre ich heute n Kerl, der sich an den Eiern kratzt und im stehen pinkeln kann. Aber neiiiin. So etwas kann sich Weibchen ja nicht aussuchen.

Stattdessen darf ich mich mit seltsamen Gelüsten rumquälen. Salamibrötchen mit Nutella und gerade eben hab ich ne Schale Weintrauben ohne Kerne aber dafür mit Kräuterquark gegessen. Ich kann mich nicht dagegen wehren! Aber die vormenstruale Fresserei ist ja nicht das schlimmste. Übermorgen werde ich leiden. Wie ein kleines Ferkelchen, das verwurstet werden soll. Mit Bauchkrämpfen, Brechreiz und Aggressionen, die jenseits von gut und böse liegen.

AAAAABER ... heute hab ich ein Pilotprofekt gestartet. Ich führe meine Aggressionen und Fressgelüste auf einen extrem niedrigen Blutzuckerspiegel zurück. Folglich hab ich mich vollgestopft mit so viel Zucker, dass ich sicherlich die nächsten 3 Tage und Nächte durchmachen kann. Aber vielleicht hilft es ja gegen das Aua im Bauch und vor allem gegen das Aua, das ich anderen zufügen möchte.

Greift zu Kinder. Bis auf diese kleinen rosa Knubbelkegelchen und die weißbauchigen Frösche sind noch fast alle da. Nur muss ich dazufügen ... es handelte sich um eine 2,5 kg Superdupergroßpackung.

Well, I don't have the energy. I barely have the energy to HAVE sex let alone write about having sex.

I also have PMS this week. Which was making me bitchy and now it's making me want to cry all the time. And Anna is having a week of wanting to hurt things (I was afraid last night while putting dishes away because there were several knives).

I've been geeking out and watching the whole season of Firefly in a week. OMG, it is a fucking tragedy that it was cancelled. Voyager runs for 7 years and Firefly gets half a season. Good grief. Hopefully I'm seeing the movie (again) on Friday.

IT's Thanksgiving Weekend in Canada. My brother and his gf and their baby are coming to my Mom and Stepdad's. I'm very excited. Disappointed the step-nephews are not joining as I haven't met them yet. But anyway I get to see thier new baby (for the second time) and visit with them.My brother is 3 years younger than the body.

And thirdly, new in my life, i'm getting a cold. My throat was sore this morning. My eyes are watery and my nose is stuffy and a bit runny.  I have to cut down on my blogs, but I keep finding new survivor type blogs.

I have to hit the kidlet's school. They are having a turkey dinner today and I"m supposed to helping as of ... 2 minutes ago I'm late. :P
ANother reason I haven't been writing lately is I'm afraid of being outed. As a mutliple, as a someone who is writing about sex. My job could be in jeopardy if someone found out. My blog is pretty obscure in the grand scheme of things. And people in my physical life don't really know my online alias (with exception of a few freinds but if they did stumble on here it isn't a risk). We'll see what happens. I do need the outlet. But feeling exposed doesn't help the words flow outward.

MEGA COSTCO  MIX (including mini-Snickers, Reeses, Kit Kat, Butterfinger, Crunch, M&Ms): You are a person who likes to dip into the Halloween candy before the big day.  You bought this huge bag at the beginning of September at Costco and have already worked through the Kit Kats and Snickers.  You can safely assume that by Halloween you'll be handing out half-eaten Crunch bars (bitten in desperation) and pennies. 

"NORMAL" SIZED CANDY BARS:  You're dying for Halloween popularity.  You want all the hooligans in the neighborhood to revere your house as the "BIG CANDY BAR" house.  This type of person is a people pleaser.  (It helps to buy the Baby Ruth/Crunch/Butter Finger box at Costco since you hate those candy bars, therefore won't bust into the candy ahead of time and eat it all.) 

COSTCO NON-CHOCOLATE CANDY MIX: (Skittles, Twizzlers, other horrible stuff) AKA Safety Candy, people who buy this mix do so because they hate it and won't deign to open the bag before Halloween.  They will, however, hide the bag from their husbands who adore non-chocolate candy.  This bag of candy will survive chocolate cravings and nuclear holocaust. 

So, there you have it.  A mini-candy analysis that clearly states what your my candy choice says about you me.  (For those of you reading this post on a reader that doesn't show 'line through text', be aware that the words YOUR and YOU are crossed out.)

Mr Malone likened this to the levels of 5 years ago and used that as a reason to be cheerful - or at least not to be completely despairing. The message was simple enough - we were all doing well enough 5 years ago so don't despair. And as a side note - with fewer intermediaries around didn't this make things better.

He laso reckoned that advice was more important than ever due to the changes in lender behaviur and with the outlook for the economy generally. So with advice now being required by those seeking ever more illusive mortgages things were better than many feared.
