How much is the CPU and RAM of our computer being stressed determines how much we can multitask. There are many utils to indicate the RAM in use and the load on the CPU. Some of these reside in the Systray so as to provide easy access and always on functionality. FreeRAM XP Pro and Process Lasso are decent choices. These are simple, professionally programmed and free to use.

Process Lasso is a unique new technology intended to automatically adjust the allocation of CPU cycles so that system responsiveness is improved in high-load situations. It does this by temporarily lowering the priorities of background processes that are consuming too many CPU cycles, there-by giving other processes a chance to run. This process priority optimization is useful for both single and multi-core processors. No longer will a single process be able to bring your system to a virtual stall.

In addition, Process Lasso offers capabilities such as default process priorities and affinities, termination of disallowed processes, a system responsiveness graph, and logging of processes.

Once you install Process Lasso, it'll just start working. More advanced users can tweak the configuration, but you needn't touch anything to have it instantly improve your system responsiveness in high load situations.

Have you ever heard your neighbor brag about his new PC. The man hardly knows what a PC is, but he

Have you ever heard your neighbor brag about his new PC. The man hardly knows what a PC is, but he just bought a 3.000$ machine with an "Intel Quatta core of 300Mb" and "a lot of those nice ports on the backside" and oh yeah, "it has windows Vista Ultimate x64, but Vista just sucks a friend told me that".
If you ask your neighbor about his activities on the PC he replies, "I'm learning to work with MSN messenger and I browse ebay for stuff with Internet Explopper".

To come to a point, people buy PC's just as a status icon. They spend thousands of dollars or euros on a machine that they can hardly operate and do not need. Did you know that MSN-messenger works on an AMD Athlon 1200+ with 256Mb of memory and Internet Explorer as well. A machine like that costs 100$ on ebay, screen included. But no, people directly buy the most expensive things without thinking why they need them or what they can do.

This is a normal evolution considering that current day PC's have at least 2,4Ghz Dual core CPU's and 2Gb of RAM. Have you ever heard of an application that needs 2Gb of RAM, even Vista operating some heavy applications only needs 1Gb of RAM. So PC's are too heavy for what they have to endure and they keep evolving very quickly, this is not a problem but it's just not necessary. And when those wealthy Western people enter a shop they choose the most expensive item anyway, without using any brainpower.

So I have a message to all you not-gaming, not IT-professional people out there : Don't buy PC's or Laptops that cost 1.500$ or up. If you really want to spend that much money, donate it to a charity organization or finally pay off your mortgage payment.

If you are wondering why all financial institutes in your country are facing bankruptcy look at your shopping behavior.

Well, in hope to set up a marine tank sometime in the future, i'm going after a bigger tank. Instead of a 42 gallon, the tank i'm now looking at is 56 gallons, and a foot longer. The new dimentions are 48" long x 15" wide x 18" high. As for stocking, I was thinking:

2x fully mature, already paired off gold angelfish

6x or so Australian rainbowfish

20-30x male guppies (the ones from when I used to breed)

5x rummynose tetras (I already have these)

3x black kuhlie loaches (again, I already have these)

2x German blue rams; and possibly

2x kribensis

I might not get the kribs due to the fact that once fully grown they might have a go at my guppies and because of their aggression, should they choose to breed. I am also concerned about the aggression of the angels and the rams when/if they breed. Hopefully I will never have to deal with more than one spawn at a time, so that all the other fish have space to retreat when the spawning fish set up a territory.

What we do:

OEMPCWorld.com sells oem computer memory and Flash memory products at wholesale prices for PCs, Macs, Laptops, Music Samplers, printers, cameras and more. We offer a wide variety of popular and hard to find older 72p pin SIMMs, 168 pin DIMMs and 184 pin Rambus modules at unbelievably low prices as well as the latest DDR, DDR2 and DDR3 modules. From 16Mb to over 4.0GB, we have it in stock and ready to ship. Wide selection, great prices, unmatched service.

Why OEMPCWorld
Founded in 1998 OEMPCWorld.com can make claim to offering the best value on the market for configurator guaranteed memory. Its founders have been in the computer memory business since the very first IBM PC had 64K of ram back in 1984.

Some companies offer lower priced items but when you use their configurator they point you to a much more expensive option. This is called bait and switch. Offer low priced items on the shopping comparison sites but when you use the configurator it does not list these low priced items as compatible and they tell you to buy the higher priced item for guaranteed compatibility. We don't do that (assuming of course you are using our configurator). All our items are offered at one low price and the product we carry is guaranteed compatible or your money back. We do not offer multiple tiers or varying grades of products, that concept is absurd. Our products are guaranteed compatible and have a lifetime warranty; all products offer high value and the highest grade possible.

We also offer some of the highest levels of customer service and customer satisfaction numbers in the industry - customers rate our overall service at better than 9.3 out of 10 (see Bizrate)and 99.6% of our customer are either completely satisfied or very satisfied (based on 35 000 customer ratings since 1999). Our returns processing averages 4.5 days from receipt to ship, the industry average is 12 days.
Many competitors charge 15% restocking fees if the configurator is not used and if you do use the configurator then you pay for the higher priced item. They also charge a higher fee if you order over the phone or limit your free shipping options.

In addition, we offer excellent value across all our product lines, not just the new products, we still sell 32MB EDO SIMMs for the same price we sold them for 5 years ago, everyone sells new items like DDR and DDR2 for low prices and then if you need PC100 you pay twice what we charge.

High value across the entire product line.

We offer Lifetime Warranty on all memory products and ALWAYS offer an unconditional 30 day money back guarantee with no restocking fees.

Customer Service is available during the indicated hours at (408) 350-0341.

Today is the death anniversary of the greatest villian of all times - the Ravana. He surely gave pain in the ass to all devas of his time. Blessed with all the mights and powers possible he was an ultimate legendary character ever to roam on this earth. Although cursed for his all wrong deeds he still was praise worthy for many of his qualities. In this post I will mention some positive facets of his personalities.

King of Lanka

Tosakanth (Ravana)'s sculpture as a guardian of Wat Phra Kaew, Thailand

After winning these boons, Ravana sought out his grandfather, Sumali, and assumed leadership over his army. He then set his sights on Lanka.

Lanka was an idyllic city, created by the celestial architect Vishwakarma for Kubera, the treasurer of the gods. Kubera had generously shared all that he owned with Kaikesi's children - his stepbrothers and sister. However, Ravana demanded Lanka wholly from him, threatening to take it by force. Vishrava advised Kubera to give it up to him, as Ravana was now undefeatable.

While Ravana usurped Lanka to begin with, he was nevertheless regarded as a benevolent and effective ruler. Lanka flourished under his rule - it is said the poorest of houses had vessels of gold to eat and drink off, and hunger was unknown in the kingdom.

Devotee of Lord Shiva

Ravana lifting mount Kailash - Ellora Caves, Maharashtra

Following his conquest of Lanka, Ravana encountered Lord Shiva at his abode in Kailash. Unknowingly, Ravana attempted to uproot and move the mountain on a whim.

Shiva, annoyed by Ravana's arrogance, pressed his little toe on Kailash, pinning him firmly and painfully under it. His ganas informed Ravana of whom he had crossed, upon which Ravana became penitent.

He sang songs praising Shiva, and is said to have done so for years, until Shiva released him from his bondage.

Pleased with his resilience and devotion, Shiva gave to him the divine sword Chandrahas ("Moon-blade"). It was during this incident that he acquires the name 'Ravana', meaning "(He) Of the terrifying roar", given to him by Shiva - the earth is said to have quaked at Ravana's cry of pain when the mountain was pinned on him.

Ravana in turn became a lifelong devotee of Lord Shiva and is said to have composed the Shiva Tandava Stotram, a hymn to Lord Shiva.

Emperor of the Three Worlds

His abilities now truly awe-inspiring, Ravana proceeded on a series of campaigns, conquering humans, celestials and other demons. Conquering the netherworld completely, he left his brother Ahiravana as king. He became supreme overlord of all asuras in the three worlds, making an alliance with the Nivatakavachas and Kalakeyas, two clans he was unable to subdue. Conquering several kingdoms of the human world, he performed the suitable sacrifices and was crowned Emperor.

Kubera at one point chastised Ravana for his cruelty and greed, greatly angering him. Proceeding to the heavens, Ravana fought and defeated the devas, singling out his brother for particular humiliation. By force he gained command over the gods, celestials and the serpent races.

At the time of the Ramayana, set several hundred years later, Ravana is shown as dominating all human and divine races - so much so that he can command the Sun as to his rising and setting.

Ravana Temples

Despite Valmiki's portrayal of Ravana as a villain, there are people who not only adore Ravana but also worship him.

Ravana is considered most revered devotee of Lord Shiva. The images of Ravana are seen associated with lord Shiva at some places.

There is a huge Shivalinga in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, supposedly installed by Ravana himself, with a statue of Ravana near by. Both Shivalinga and Ravana are worshiped by the fishermen community there.

In Sri Lanka, a thousand years ago, King Walagamba is said to have constructed cave temples for Ravana in the Ella Valley.

Thousands of Kanyakubja
Brahmins of the village Ravangram of Netaran, in the Vidisha District of Madhya Pradesh, perform daily puja (worship) in the Ravan temple and offer naivedyam / bhog (a ritual of sacrifice to the Gods. [1][2][3]). .

Centuries ago King Shiv Shankar built a Ravana temple at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The Ravana temple is opened once in a year, on Dashehra Day, to perform puja for the welfare of Ravana.

A Jain temple in Alvar, Rajasthan is called the Ravan Parsvanath Temple. The legend says that Ravana used to worship Parsvanath daily. While Ravana was on tour to Alvar he realized that he forgot to bring the image of Parsvanath. Mandodari, Ravana's wife, is said to have made an image of Parsvanath immediately. And hence the Ravan Parsvanath temple at Alvar.

Ravana is said to have married Princess Mandodari at a place about 32 kilometers away from Jodhpur, which is now called Mandor. There is a mandap (altar or pavilion) where Ravana is said to have married Mandodari, and which the local people call Ravan Jee Ki Chanwari.

At the altar can also be found the images of Saptamatri (Seven Mothers) flanked by Ganesha and Veera
Bhadra. The Saptamatri images are said to precede the time of the Pratihara Dynasty (founded in the 6th Century AD) and are in fact reminscent of the images of seven female deities of Harappa - the oldest civilization in India. In the nearby stepwell, a stone bears a script that resembles the Harappan script.

The Dave Brahmins of Mudgal Gotra, Jodhpur/Mandor, said to be Dravida Brahmins who were originally from Gujarat, claim to be the descendants of Ravana. The say that since time immemorial they are performing the shraddh (death anniversary) of Ravana on Dashehra Day every year.

There is a park across my house where Ramlila happens every year and then on the day of Dussehra, the huge effigy of Ravan stuffed with firecrackers is burnt. On the auspicious day, a huge crowd gathers in the park and on the highest floor of the nearby buildings to be a part of the ritual. Ravan is one character in Ramayan which has always intrigued me. So on this day of Dussehra, I thought of doing some research on the Demon King and stumbled upon many rather unknown facts about him (they were unknown to me at least) which I would like to share with all of you.

Ravan was the great-grandson of the creator of the universe, Brahma and son of the Brahamana sage Vishrava and younger brother of Kubera(the deity of wealth). His mother, Kaikesi was an asura. Kaikesi's father Sumali wanted her to marry the most powerful man in the world so that he gets an exceptional heir. He kept on rejecting many kings but in the end Kaikesi chose Vishrava to marry. Ravan was hence half Brahmin and half Asura.

Ravan's original name was Dasamukha. Following his conquest of Lanka, Ravana went to appease Lord Shiva at his abode in Kailash. Unknowingly and whimsically Ravana attempted to uproot the mountain Kailash. Shiva was annoyed by Ravana`s adamant nature and pressed his little toe under the mountain and pinned him firmly. Ravana cried out in pain so loudly that whole world shook in earthquake. He started to appease Shiva until Shiva was satisfied and made him free from the bondage. Shiva was so impressed by Ravana`s bravery and devotion that he gifted him a powerful sword known as Chandrahas (moon blade). Ravana became a life long devotee of Lord Shiva. Ravana was famous for his dance worship, which is called `Shiva Tandava Stotra`. Shiva was pleased by his dance and named him as Ravana, which means `one who roars terrifyingly`. More on this - here.

Ravana also performed an intense penance to Brahma (the creator god), lasting several years. Pleased with him, Brahma offered him a boon. Ravana asked for immortality, which Brahma refused saying everyone has to die someday. Ravana then asked for absolute invulnerability and supremacy before gods and heavenly spirits, other demons, serpents and wild beasts. Contemptuous of mortal men, he did not ask for protection from them(that is why Lord Vishnu incarnated himself as a human in the form of Lord Ram to kill Ravan). Brahma granted him these boons, and additionally great strength by way of knowledge of divine weapons and sorcery.

Lanka(the city made of gold) was designed by Vishwakarma for Kuber who was Ravan's brother. Ravan demanded Lanka from him and Vishrava also advised Kuber to hand over the city to Ravan as he was completely undefeatable by now. Lanka florished under Ravan's rule as he was a very able king.

Initially Ravan used to force himself upon any woman who rejected his advances. One such incidence was with the sage-woman called Vedavati. Vedavati was performing a yagya to appease Lord Vishnu to marry her when Ravana met her at her hermitage. She, however, rejected his advances. After mocking her dedication to Vishnu and her penance, he attacked her, viciously, by pulling her hair. Her chastity and reputation destroyed, Vedavati immolates herself by building a pyre, while Ravana watched. The second was his encounter with the apsara Rambha, upon whom he forced himself. Rambha was betrothed to Kubera's son, but Ravana did not cared. Angered at this, Kubera's son cursed Ravana that his ten heads would fall off his head if he forced himself upon any woman from that point. This curse is said to have protected Sita's chastity while she was Ravana's captive for nearly a year.

Ravan also acquired the capacity to change his form, and in the Ramayana he is described as having ten heads and twenty arms. He was endowed with the strength of moving the seas and splitting the tops of mountains. Ravana’s body bore all the marks of one who had fought the devas: the thunderbolt of Indra, the tusks of Indra’s elephant Airavata, and the discus of Vishnu had all scarred him.

In the Bhagavata Purana, Ravana and his brother, Kumbakarna were said to be reincarnations of Jaya and Vijaya, gatekeepers at Vaikuntha, the abode of Vishnu and were cursed to be born in Earth for their insolence. These gatekeepers refused entry to the Sanatha Kumara monks, who, because of their powers and austerity appeared as young children. For their insolence, the monks cursed them to be expelled from Vaikunta and to be born in Earth. The all-merciful Vishnu agreed that they should be punished but agreed to mitigate their curse. He asked them whether they would want to be undergo seven births as devotees of Vishnu or three births as enemies of the Lord. Since they wanted to get back as soon as possible, they agreed to be born in three births as enemies of God. In the first birth, Jaya and Vijaya were born as Hiranyakashipu and Hiranyaksha. Vishnu incarnated as Varaha and Narasimha and killed them both. In Treta Yuga they were born as Ravana and Kumbhakarna and were killed by Rama. Then in Dwapara yuga, and in their final birth, Jaya and Vijaya they were born as Shishupala and Dantavakra and killed by Sri Krishna. After the end of three births, they returned to Vaikunta.

So that's all folks. Happy Dussehra to all of you!

[Ram and Raawan are fighting with each other from the time word fight has been invented and might be before that, every fight between Ram and Rawanaa is actually between truth and lie, honesty and dishonesty, or honesty and Indian politics... etc....]

[Here are two engineers, one of them has hacked others website and try to using this. Just imagine if these two engineers named accordingly their nature and other characters also in same manner. Like good man is Ram, Bad man is Rawan, Website is Seeta.com and other characters are also names from Ramayana, this is pure imagination so don't take it seriously and enjoy imagination]

Ram: Someone has hacked my website; I am not sure who is he but I am unable to access it. I must know who has done that, Laxman, Laxman [loudly].

Laxman: Yaa, what happened?

Ram: what the hell were you doing? I appointed you as the chief security software engineer and you couldn't save your first websites. Someone has hacked Seeta.com.

Laxman: Ram brother, I wasn't there at the time of hacking Seeta.com needs an Add-on on emergency basis, and she was popping up "Need: Golden Deer" again and again. So I went to google.com for the same software and when I again maximized up the Seeta.com it was gone already, Raawan did it, I also disabled the download manager, software update etc using Laxman-Rekha.

Ram: Who is Rekha new joiner?

Laxman: Not bro, it's a software to prevent viruses, I developed it.

Ram: Oh you developed it, that's why!, anyway call anyone expert who can trace that how did it happen?

Laxman: I know someone named Jatayu Fadiya, who can trace the whole hacking, but in between if Raawan try to access websites Seeta.com then?

Ram: Don't Worry, Seeta.com can not allow anyone to access itself it has been made with default user Ram and with a very secure property called "Pativrataa".

You! Call Jatayu immediately.

Laxman: He is out of network area; I think he must be flying high today.

Ram: Call him continuously, and get connected as he comes little lower.

Laxman: Ok.

Laxma:n: [After sometime]: Bro we get it.

Ram: Ok mail me the detailed.

Laxman: I thought it's urgent.

Ram: ok tail me first but don't forget the mail, and also CC that mail to Bali and Arjun.

Laxman: Ram, Arjun is not available, it will come in future OS, Microsoft Mahabhatarat.

Ram: Ok, than mail Bali and inform him on mobile also that we need a support to find and destroy the hacker ASAP. Who is he anyway and why did he hack our new website?

Laxman: Talk to jatayu for that... he can explain you in detailed.

Jatayu: Hi Ram.

Ram: Hi Jatayu! What's this sound?

Jatayu: Actually I am just flying little above. Anyway for you information He is Raawan, an extraordinary mind student from Shivbhakt Institue, owner of Gold Lanka Consultancy in Srilanka, from our OSC Vibhishan we got information that Raawanalso registered a website named Seeta, but Janak rejected his plea, And one of his sister Surabankha also wanted to join your brother's firm, but Laxman rejected her in interview. That's why in frustration Raawanhacked our Seeta.com.

Ram: but how did he break Laxman's Laxam-Rekha software?

Jatayu: He used some fraud name "Swami" and as you know in your company Raghukul you can't stop someone with names like, "Swami", "Bhikchuk", "Bhakt", etc. Raghukul Reet sadaa chali aayi, "Virus Aa Jaye Par User Naa Jaye".

Ram: Thanks Jatayu, bye. Laxman Mail this to Bali also.

Laxman: ok.

Ram: [After little time] Anyway Laxman what's the status of Bali, is he progressing in right way.

Laxman: yes I talked to him they are making a mirror way to enter Rawan's server, ther are making some Ram-Setu bridge for the Path.

Ram: ok. And what else we need to get back Seeta.

Laxman: as per my knowledge, Raawan has few good software to protect his servers, one of them kumbhkaran, Who eats a lot space in installation and very slow software, but provides a good security, and another one is Meghnath, tracing Meghnath is very tough, he is having good knowledge of JAVA and makes himself invisible and than attack using Jar applications.

Ram: I think the bridge process has been completed and we are ready to attack on Kumbhkaran, Meghanath and Raawan finally.

Laxman: I am starting a SCAN using Angad and other small softwares.

Ram: Ok.

[After few minutes]

Ram: what's the status?

Laxman: Angad foot got hanged somewhere in Raawan's floor.

Ram: Make it quick, just CTRL+ALT+DEL, that process.

[After Some time]

Laxman: Hi, we cleared Kumbhkaran and Meghnath.

Ram: Good.

Laxman: But there is a problem with Raawan. His server is having 10 different DBA who are working simultaneously.

Ram: oh multi-user.

Laxman: no Multi tasking.

Ram: It's ok let me give some time to think about this.

[After little time]

Ram: Laxman, we got our website back.

Laxman: How did you do that?

Ram: I used lates Symentec Vesion during all process, which burnt Raawan's server golden mother board, also that was in contact with Seeta.com so we can have all the updates from there.

Laxman: what's that software?

Ram: Hanuman................. J

[Here Ram was happy with the Hanuman with him he cleared up all the obstacles and get Seeta.com back. Ram appraised him with new designation from friend (software engineer) to very good friend (senior software engineer), package same, Only designation changed]

Laxman: Ram! Seeta.com has two new blogs now.

Ram: What are these?

Laxman: Lav and Kush.....

[So there is always Ram and Rawan around you, sometimes within you]

It's been quite a while since I've posted anything. But since I have some time right now I suppose I'll write something short.

School started a while ago. What seems like a long while ago now. I'm taking AP Calculus, AP Language and Composition, AP Psychology, AP US History, Honors Chemistry, and third year Spanish. In no particular order, so creepers can't follow me around school. Actually, they're ordered alphabetically. All my classes are definitely worthwhile, though not necessarily enjoyable. They're all somewhere from between pretty interesting to just tolerable. In April and May though, I expect things'll get busier. A lot busier. But afterwards, that leaves 4 classes that'll be much easier through the end of the year so that I'll be able to focus on only two finals. Chemistry is challenging and I've heard that the final is pretty hard. First and second year Spanish were really easy but this year is más difícil.

The debate was on last night. I only watched about the first 20 minutes of the debate. Nothing really caught my attention except that when asked to prioritize three key issues, McCain gave the oh-so-political response that he could address all three at the same time. Who are you kidding? On the other hand, Obama was able to number off his priorities in order, even though he risks turning off potential voters who have different orders of priority. Any high-schooler, college student, or adult should be able to number off priorities. If a Presidential candidate can't give a straight answer of his top priorities, then he definitely cannot be trusted to prioritize the needs of the American people.

On the other hand, I'm not sure I agree with Obama on some issues, but I'll do more research to have a solid stance. Obviously, supporting Obama is now the "cool" thing to do. But if you can't reasonably back up why you support Obama, then you're obviously swayed by peer pressure. That doesn't make you a Democratic elephant, it makes you a herded sheep or cow. I'm getting a button that says "Sandwich Artists for Obama" but whether I decide to use it or not, I'll have to decide. I was disappointed though that there's a "Pirates for Obama" but no "Ninjas for Obama".

I haven't really written a long, informative post in a long time, and I expect that it'll be a long time before that happens again. Nothing's really stirred my interest that hasn't already been written about by somebody else. On the other hand, I could write more personal blogs. I got positive feedback about my last post which was encouraging. I'm surprised it turned out the way it did. At first I just wanted to rant, but then saw that I could fill it with a bit more substance. Nobody wants to hear a long, senseless complaint anyways.

Oh, I'm also reading Brisingr, third in Paolini's Inheritance triology. I think it would be pretty cool to talk in an ancient language and kill a rabbit and make it cook itself. Take that, PETA.

I've been listening to Kanye West a lot. I've decided that his best album is his debut, "College Dropout". His use of samples is catchy while his lyrics are more socially conscious. His narrative style is personal, especially the closing track, "Last Call". His 2nd album, "Late Registration" is good, I guess, but not as interesting to listen to more than a couple times. "Graduation" is catchy and interesting to listen to but definitely lacking in socially conscious lyrics. "Feelin' like Katrina with no FEMA" is hardly socially conscious. But it's still interesting to listen to, so I place it at 2nd. His next album, "808s and Heartbreak" is supposedly done and to be released in November. His first single, already released is "Love Lockdown". In my opinion, it's not very good. The music video flatly sucks. With his use of auto-tune singing instead of rapping, I wonder if the album will be worth listening to at all. Hopefully, my doubts will be put to rest.

I bought more RAM for my laptop. 4GB to be exact. Though my 32-bit version of Vista might not recognize all of it. But it'll definitely be an improvement over the 1GB I'm using right now.

I actually had more to write about than I thought I would. But now I'm leaving. Time to add the ridiculous amount of tags I can use for all the topics I covered. More tags equals more views, I hope. How do I say bye to an internet audience/readership? Good question. Answer? I don't.

No, this is not a post about some fat old guy in a homemade Tron suit. You can easily find that moose knuckled weirdo on other corners of the interwebs. Oh no, you came here for more intellectual pursuits. This is the story of a guy who wrote a Tron light cycle game for his old Apple IIgs. Ok, still not exciting since there are a million Tron light cycle clones out there. No, what's cool about this story is that this guy's computer AI actually broke out of the game board, travelled through the computer's RAM, and eventually caused a system crash...JUST LIKE IN THE MOVIE! Read the whole story HERE, and be amazed. This is the new production from Ram who is one half of the very successful Bas + Ram duo, who between them have amassed many successful releases on labels such as Joyride, Tuff Stuff, Hard Ball, Skywarp and Waterworld to name but a few.
Here on the original mix Ram teams up with Ralph Novell and delivers a trancer of massive proportions, the twinkly melody knocks me for six every time!!!
Remix duties are from Milo.NL and CJ Stone who take the track on a more electro trance route and Digital Remedy head Lee Haslam who delivers one of his best remixes yet with a rather gritty funky trance remake! Hope you all like this track as much as I do!

Yes yes I really mean it, I do love a few things about Windows vista (it would have been too easy to do some more Vista bashing). Take a look at the specs for Vista below taken from the microsoft site:

Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Enterprise, and Windows Vista Ultimate

•

1-gigahertz (GHz) 32-bit (x86) processor or 1-GHz 64-bit (x64) processor

•

1 GB of system memory

•

Windows Aero-capable graphics card

Note This includes a DirectX 9-class graphics card that supports the following:

•

A WDDM driver

•

Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware

•

32 bits per pixel

•

128 MB of graphics memory (minimum)

•

40-GB hard disk that has 15 GB of free hard disk space (the 15GB of free space provides room for temporary file storage during the install or upgrade.)

•

Internal or external DVD drive

•

Internet access capability

•

Audio output capability

If you've paid attention to the above, you will notice that compared to previous versions of Windows, this time a decent graphics card is required (arguably it angered many users who thought that they could easily move to Vista without investing a cent) since the numerous fading effects need resources; moreover, 1 GB of RAM is required as well. Intentionally or not, Microsoft has given a big boost to the graphics industry which used to be powered only by greedy games - now we also have a greedy OS :).

Given that I'm passionate about good graphics, no wonder I'll love this. However, with Vista eating 1GB of RAM, we'll now need a huge amount or memory to quench the thirst of Vista + the ever more realistic 3D games.
