Great Remix! The best we have heard in a long time! Queen Latifah was apart of this remix also but we were a little disappointed that she didn't give us at least 1-3 bars or something. She was singing, which is great but Queen...we haven't heard you spit in awhile. Please come back! 

Ryan Leslie - Diamond Girl Part II

Ryan is bringing back Diamond Girl Part II ! This song is one of our all time favorites here at SFPL. Part 2 is ok but we like the original better. It displays more of Ryan's sound and quality that he represents in all of his music. What do you think? Look out for the full album coming soon!!

Hot! You have to love Travis Barker on the drums! The remix has a rock-n-roll feel to it, which makes the sound very appealing. Busta came flow over anything! 

Gym Class Heroes’ - Cookie Jar feat. The Dream

Gym Class Heroes are back with their hands in the Cookie Jar! The song was also produced by The Dream. Very good song and very catchy chorus. It is definitely a "grower". With the spontaneous personalities of GCH, the song fits them perfectly.

OK, I always get a lot of grief when I say this, but I've never, really been much of a fan of Joe. I know, I know, a lot of you will be grasping and thinking "What?!?!". I definitely respect what he's done and of course, he's released/written some big tunes, but am I a fan? Nah, not really! I love R&B but I am very particular with it also...

Anyways! This is his new joint, produced by Ryan Leslie...

Joe - "E.R (Emergency Room)"

I'm feeling it?! The tune sounds pretty fresh! I don't love it, but it's cool nevertheless! I've always felt that Joe's material all sounded the same. Like, his albums [to me] always sounded like one long song? I get that he's been around for a long, long time [respect], BUT has he been innovative? Has he changed music? Has he done something that no one else has? I don't think so? Maybe I'm wrong but hey - we all got our opinions right?

Ryan Leslie's Self Titled Debut Album In Stores August 26, 2008

Since these songwriters/producers have written some of our favorite songs, it's only fair that we give them a chance here on SoLowe to prove themselves. First, we have Keri Hilson (Mary J.'s "Take Me As I Am"). She's slated to release are debut album in September through a joint venture between producers Timbaland's and Polow Da Don's record companies. Her first single is the sugary "Energy." There's not much grit in the mix, but we know she's an artist of promise. Check her out below.

Next, we have Ryan Leslie. I'm slowly but surely becoming a fan of his. (Don't pretend like you didn't learn the choreography to "Diamond Girl.") He is mostly known for his collaborations with Cassie. Cassie isn't the greatest singer, but it's Ryan's production skills that bring her dry vocals to life. In the clip below, Ryan forms a song right before our eyes. This man is truly a genius. He's bringing R&B and songwriting back to its melodic structure and form. Watch out for his brief interpretation of Lil Weezy's "Lollipop" in the clip below.

Last but not least, we have Bryan Michael Cox. I have a bitter-sweet relationship with Bryan's music. One minute he's remixing Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together," and another minute he's stretching R&B into the corridors of pop accolades. He does the same with his new song "All I Want Is You." I don't know rather to hate it or love it.
