It's hard to believe, but the Social Media Breakfasts seem to keep getting better! This month we had our largest group yet meet at the Crescent Club in Midtown Memphis for what promised to be a great way to start the morning. There were plenty of familiar faces mixed in with a great group of Social Media newcomers.

LunaWeb President, Dave Barger, hosted the event and kept everything running smoothly, as well as answering questions on all thing Social from a crowd that eagerly supplied both answers and inquiries. After some initial discussion, long time Social Media Breakfast attendee, Bob Hazlett, gave a hilariously informative presentation on Social Media campaigns gone wrong entitled, "You Suck at Social Media." He effectively walked us through the best of the best on down to the abysmally low in Social success (from Zappos shoes to Microsoft's twitter presence).

As always though, the best of Social Media Breakfast happened before and after the official presentations. Staying true to the idea of being "social" there were plenty of opportunities for networking, catching up, meeting new connections, and sharing new Social Media information.

19. Declan's cheeks are not nearly as kissable as Weston's, but they are more accessible.

20. I hate my hands and feet. I find they don't look like what I imagined they should.

21. I love my legs, they are my source of strength. The result of running and rollerblading for many years.

22. My mother-in law is the first person I want when I feel like a child. I have to resist the urge to sit on her lap sometimes.

23. My brother is undyingly loyal and real. He is the most real person I know.

24. I am teaching myself art, after failing again and again in art classes.

25. I really love my friends and family, and I want them all to know.

What is even more special here is that you earn 'virtual money' with every activity that you do. El nivel de vida material y espiritual de una comunidad depende grandemente del nivel educativo de sus integrantes. Por lo tanto, la educación de todos debe ser solventada por la sociedad en su conjunto. Quienes hemos tenido el privilegio de completar una formación avanzada pagada por toda la sociedad –cosa que hoy no muchos pueden hacer en nuestro país-, tenemos el deber moral de contribuir especialmente al financiamiento de la enseñanza pública, en proporción a los ingresos que nuestra formación nos permite obtener. Ese enfoque del problema del financiamiento de la enseñanza terciaria y universitaria es a la vez más justo y más eficiente que el cobro de matrícula a quienes se supone que pueden pagarla.

¿A quiénes se cobraría matrícula? En el caso de la Universidad de la República, 76% de sus estudiantes necesitan trabajar, 55% están empleados y 21% están desempleados. Además, uno de cada tres estudiantes de nuestra institución trabaja más de treinta horas semanales. Así pues, no tendría sentido cobrarle matrícula a por lo menos las tres cuartas partes del estudiantado. En cuanto al 24% restante, ¿cuántos de ellos podrían pagarla? ¿Cuántos requerirían apoyo adicional de sus familias? En numerosos casos, las familias han hecho y siguen haciendo un esfuerzo importante para que sus hijos puedan estudiar. ¿Podrán ampliar su contribución? 

¿Qué aparato de inspección debiéramos montar para saber cuáles estudiantes pueden pagar, cuáles no y cómo varía la situación de cada uno? ¿Cuántos problemas se generarían así? ¿Cuánto dinero se obtendría por esta vía? ¿Cuántos estudiantes abandonarían sus estudios? La matrícula disminuiría el acceso a la enseñanza terciaria, con negativas consecuencias no sólo para quienes queden fuera de ella sino para el futuro del país.
La contribución de los profesionales a través del Fondo de Solidaridad permite al presente financiar varios miles de becas. Si esa contribución se hace proporcional a los ingresos, será más justa e incrementará los recursos disponibles. 
Por esta vía se puede avanzar hacia lo que debe ser un gran objetivo nacional para todo país que aspira al desarrollo integral: generalizar el acceso a la formación avanzada, de calidad y conectada con el trabajo a lo largo de la vida entera. No otra cosa han hecho las naciones que suelen mencionarse como los recientes casos exitosos en materia de mejora rápida de la calidad de vida de su gente. Más de siete de cada diez jóvenes en Corea del Sur o Finlandia, Irlanda o Nueva Zelanda, acceden a la enseñanza superior; en Uruguay la cifra baja a menos de la mitad.
Cabe pensar que la posición aquí defendida es compatible con la opinión del gobierno nacional. Ello surge del propio texto del Proyecto de Ley General de Educación que el Poder Ejecutivo ha sometido al Parlamento. Su artículo 19 establece: “El principio de gratuidad asegurará el cumplimiento del derecho a la educación y la universalización del acceso y permanencia de las personas en el sistema educativo”. El artículo 25 deja en claro que el Proyecto se refiere a todos los niveles de la educación, desde el inicial al universitario, incluyendo al postgrado.
Ello es plenamente compatible con la Constitución de la República, cuyo artículo 71 dice: “Declárase de utilidad social la gratuidad de la enseñanza oficial primaria, media, superior, industrial y artística y de la educación física”. La gran cuestión es si apuntamos a reducir o a ampliar la gratuidad de la enseñanza pública. Confiemos en que una discusión abierta lleve a pronunciamientos claros y dotados de amplio respaldo.

• Se llevarán a cabo más de 200 proyectos en colaboración con administraciones públicas, sector empresarial, universidades, fundaciones y asociaciones, sindicatos y ONG.
• Las cinco líneas de actuación son patrimonio natural y biodiversidad; desarrollo sostenible del medio rural; lucha contra el cambio climático; conservación del medio marino; y cooperación internacional

6 de octubre de 2008.- El patronato de la Fundación Biodiversidad, fundación pública del Gobierno de España, dependiente del Ministerio de Medio Ambiente, y Medio Rural y Marino, presidido por el secretario de Estado de Medio Rural y Agua y presidente de la Fundación Biodiversidad, Josep Puxeu, ha mantenido hoy una reunión en el marco del Congreso Mundial de la Naturaleza de la UICN.

En esta reunión se ha aprobado destinar 31 millones de euros para la conservación del patrimonio natural y para promover el desarrollo sostenible del medio rural. Asimismo, se han presentado las cinco nuevas líneas estratégicas en las que se basará la actividad de la institución, así como el plan de actuación para el 2009. Igualmente, con el fin de ofrecer una visión más transversal, y, por tanto, integrada de los diversos proyectos promovidos por la Fundación Biodiversidad, se han establecido cinco líneas estratégicas. Éstas son: la conservación del patrimonio natural y de la biodiversidad; el desarrollo sostenible del medio rural; la lucha contra el cambio climático; la conservación del medio marino; y la cooperación internacional.

Dentro del plan de actuación para 2009 hay que destacar la importante dotación de 30 programas. De éstos, tres tendrán un fuerte impacto en la creación de empleo: el Programa empleaverde, con una dotación de 4,7 millones de euros, financiado por Fondo Social Europeo; el proyecto de formación ambiental para trabajadores de sectores en crisis, dotado con 300.000 euros; o el Proyecto Oxígeno, de capacitación profesional y formación ambiental en Centros, con una dotación de más de 700.000 euros.

De cara al próximo año, la Fundación Biodiversidad participará en más de 200 proyectos en colaboración con distintos colectivos: administraciones públicas, sector empresarial, universidades, asociaciones y fundaciones, sindicatos y ONG.

Por otro lado, dentro de la conservación del medio marino, la Fundación Biodiversidad colaborará en el Proyecto LIFE + para el Inventario y Designación de la Red Natura 2000 en España (INDEMARES). Este programa, que tiene una duración de cinco años, es uno de los proyectos que ha recibido mayor financiación dentro la historia de LIFE de la Comisión Europea.

Un aspecto importante que se pretende desarrollar durante el año 2009 es el pleno desarrollo de los órganos consultivos y de participación de la Fundación, así como tres plataformas de conocimiento en relación a cuestiones prioritarias: la biodiversidad, la custodia del territorio y el desarrollo rural sostenible. Estas plataformas servirán como herramienta básica para enriquecer las actividades de la Fundación con personas e instituciones representativas del sector ambiental e implicarán directa e indirectamente a 500 profesionales.

Respecto a la cooperación internacional, se intensificará la colaboración con África y se duplicará el presupuesto destinado a dicho continente. Se busca la incidencia en países como Angola, Mozambique, Namibia, Senegal y Cabo Verde, donde se apoyarán proyectos centrados en necesidades básicas de máxima prioridad como la biodiversidad, el agua y saneamiento o la producción sostenible de agricultura y ganadería, gestión de recursos forestales y la pesca y acuicultura.

Finalmente, con el objetivo de agilizar los trámites y como novedad para 2009, las ayudas convocadas por la Fundación Biodiversidad para el desarrollo de proyectos medioambientales contarán con un procedimiento de selección y gestión de carácter abierto y permanente. Asimismo, y con el mismo objetivo, se creará un registro documental para que las entidades no tengan que presentar reiteradamente la documentación.

Va a empezar el curso el martes 14 de octubre y siguen necesitando a gente dispuesta a enseñar y a aprender, a integrarse en nuestros talleres, Grupos y equipos de programación y a compartir el apasionante proyecto que es la educación popular.

Las actividades que ofrecen este curso son las siguientes:

• 1. Español para inmigrantes: nivel de acogida, inicial e intermedio. [M y J (19:30-21:30)].
• 2. Grupos de Aprendizaje Colectivo (G.A.C): personas que se reúnen en torno a un tema de interés común para estudiarlo e investigarlo colectivamente:
  • A – Medios audiovisuales y Contrainformación: queremos aprender junt@s todo el proceso de elaboración de documentos audiovisuales, desde el guión hasta el montaje, radio y a manejar otros medios de contrainformación (Webs) para leer otras realidades [X y V (19:30-21:00)].
  • B – Escritura creativa: ponemos en común y desarrollamos colectivamente ese “pequeño escritor que tod@s tenemos dentro” [J (19:30-21:30].
  • C – Historia: La historia desde una perspectiva crítica, vista desde l@s de abajo. [J (19:30-21:30].
  • D – Samba: aprendemos percusión brasileña, tocar en grupo y dirigir, ritmos y músicas rebeldes. [D (17:00-21:00) consultar lugar de ensayo].
• 3. Talleres: Costura [M (19:00-21:00)], Lectura colectiva [L (19:00-21:00), necesitamos monitores y gente], Tai-chi [V (11:00-12:00)], Música  [L (20:00-21:00)].
• 4. Oficina de derechos sociales ODS [J (19:30-21:00)].
• 5. Un grupo de ocio para personas con diversidad funcional intelectual.
• 6. Una Biblioteca popular abierta al barrio por las tardes (de 19:00-21:00), con servicio de préstamo y sala de lectura.
• 7. Cine: con proyección todos los viernes a las 21h.
• 8. Un amplio espacio común- lugar de encuentro.

Seja qual for a forma como sistematizamos esta responsabilidade das organizações perante a sociedade, parece consensual, entre os autores, que as organizações não são vista pelos públicos apenas como sistemas económicos, mas também como sistemas sociais e como tal têm responsabilidades para com a sociedade. Assim, todas as organizações são responsáveis pelos impactos que a sua actividade provoca nos cidadãos enquanto seres individualmente considerados, na sociedade e no meio ambiente.

Esta ideia de responsabilidade pelos impactos provocados pela acção das organizações compreende uma noção de organização como sistema composto por sub-sistemas, logo a responsabilidade pelo bem-estar financeiro, físico e psicológico dos colaboradores directos. Assim, a concretização da responsabilidade social corporativa passa pelo interior da organização: equidade nos sistemas de remuneração e benefícios entre diferentes linhas hierárquicas; equidade nas oportunidades de progressão na carreira sem diferenciação quanto ao género, idade ou deficiência; justeza face ao trabalho desenvolvido versus remuneração (aqui surge com particular relevância o uso de estagiários não remunerados); preocupação com o nível de saúde que se vive na organização (cumprindo as obrigações legais de medicina no trabalho, mas também reflectir sobre o impacto do número de horas de trabalho, stress e condições físicas de desenvolvimento desse trabalho); respeito pela noção de família dos seus colaboradores e ainda o estímulo às relações interpessoais que não se resumam ao uso dos meios electrónicos como forma de as concretizar.

Não se pretende com esta enumeração ser exaustivo nas formas de concretizar a responsabilidade social corporativa no interior das organizações, mas tão só ilustrar situações possíveis para que melhor se clarifique a ideia subjacente a este conceito.

O mesmo poderemos fazer em termos de responsabilidade social corporativa face ao meio que envolve a orgnização. Preocupações com o meio ambiente; respeito pelo sistema legal, como pagamento de impostos e outras contribuições sociais; gestão cuidada dos recursos do planeta; solidariedade e voluntariado; filantropia e, claro, com as grandes causas da humanidade, tão bem espelhadas na iniciativa do anterior Secretário-geral da ONU, Kofi Annan, naquilo que ficou designado por “Objectivos do milénio” ou ainda no “Global Compact”, ainda que em muitos casos se possa tão simplemente transpor para uma dimensão mais nacional estes objectivos. (...)"

Los candidatos a la gobernación tienen la maldita desfachatez de utilizar el tiempo como les place, de contestar lo que les sale en gana, de utilizar este tiempo para marcar sus puntos de campaña y denunciar en que han fallado los otros.  Peor aún es que nadie, tiene los cojones para decirle a esta gente que se ponga para su número. Es totalmente frustrante como ciudadano (o ex) ver estas actuaciones y esperar un resultado productivo.

Aunque en el 2004 cada uno tenía un podio del cual peyorativamente se describían como buenos cristianos que son, en esta ocasión cada uno tenía una sillita, con su mesita al lado, su vasito de agua, una pequeña libreta y lápiz para anotar recordatorios como "Caníbal estuvo aquí" y "No me llamen Rubén Jr".  Los periodistas hacían sus preguntas, y cada uno de los concursantes candidatos tenía dos minutos para levantarse, mirar a la cámara, hablar la mierda que se les ocurriera y volver a sentarse.  Yo solo tengo una pregunta.... ¿En qué momento ocurrió el debate? Tiraera desde diversos turnos, no es un debate.  No digo que esperara se tiraran e interrumpieran como gallinas en corral, pero esto fue patético.

Este debate tuvo algo nuevo en comparación con anteriores.  La participación de un cuarto partido pensaba yo incendiaría la fórmula aburrida de llevar a cabo lo mismo de siempre.  Desafortunadamente el personaje de Rogelio Figueroa jugó el mismo juego de los demás.  Aunque su mensaje se puede decir tuvo más contenido, no podemos decir que trajo algo nuevo al formato.

Y así, por unas dos horas, se pasearon como modelos en un certamen de falta de belleza, algunos tuteando al público televidente, mintiendo como buenos cristianos, haciendo promesas de cheques que no podrán cobrar, negando ilegalidades y soñando con jugar a ser líderes de una isla en aprietos y sin nadie al timón que quiera hacer algo en equipo.  Todo es yo hago, yo haré, yo planifico, pero a la hora de la verdad si no es lo de ellos, trancan el bolo y pal carajo a esperar cuatro años más.

Más molesto que el espectáculo que nos presentaron los candidatos, lo es el ver como el canal, sigue partícipe de este juego donde son dos partidos principales y los demás.  Manteniendo el sistema donde solo hay dos opciones verdaderas y ayudando a la re-programación una y otra vez del infeliz común y corriente que no tiene dos dedos de frente.  Este es un mal que debe corregirse antes de que podamos mejorar el sistema.  En muchas ocasiones se podía ver a la gente hablando y la cámara hacia un corte para enfocar a los dos candidatos principales. 

Yo no simpatizo con ninguno de los candidatos.  Ninguno en mi opinión ofrece un cambio verdadero ni aparenta tener intenciones genuinas.  Sin embargo, si vamos a eliminar por sobredosis de cabronería, automáticamente el darle el voto a Aníbal Acevedo Vila, el gobernador incumbente, es sinónimo de ser un soberano morón y con ínfulas de sadomasoquista.  Votar popular porque sí en estas elecciones es muestra de la desconexión que tiene el pueblo con lo que sucede en estos momentos en la isla.  Si mis abuelos maternos, dos muñozistas populares reventados pueden ver la luz y entender que votar por Aníbal es un desperdicio, ¿por qué la gente joven no puede ver eso?  Los demás candidatos, sin contar al nuevo competidor del PPR, serán caras nuevas pero detrás de ellos hay una fórmula vieja, gastada y llena de personas que buscan el lucro personal.  Lo único en mi opinión que me apetece del partido nuevo es que su énfasis no se basa en el estatus.  Eso es un cambio de por sí, sin embargo el comportamiento en las últimas semanas no deja mucho a la imaginación de como sería una gobernación "Por Puerto Rico".

En estas elecciones, se decidirá mucho con la elección de uno de estos papanatas.  Prácticamente decidiremos quien nos joderá más/menos rápido.  La elección es nuestra.  Ahora si consideramos que el puertorriqueño siempre tiene prisa y es medio arao' y esto fuera a ser indicio de su forma de votar...te veo venir tierra pan y libertad.

Our class is so randomly funny and hyper today. Starting from Health, carrying on to Chem then all the way to Social. (Although I wasn't there during Math, obviously!) Although that also means that the class was extra noisy but I got used to it. I transferred to the front seat because Paulina was going to be gone for a month which will be kinda useless because three days, there will be exams. Then there's the fair. Then there's sem-break. But whatev! I'm happy with where I stand! ... Err.. Sit.

Also, we got our Aptitude Test results today. I AM OUTRAGED. My course choice was Communications. Too lazy to retype so I scanned the whole thing. You can view it here. Be warned though. It's kind of a big file. Anyway... Does this look like Communications is actually not the course for me since I got Low on Humanities and Arts. On the bright side, I got Very High in Social Sciences, Business and Law! My second favorite in all the educational problems. So what am I gonna do then? PolSci? Journalism? HISTORY? (History's not bad but since my Filipino sucks, I might not survive since Sir Lee told me that some professors in UP asked students to write papers in Filipino.) Yeah. I got a year ahead of me to help me decide. Or better yet, should I let this test dictate my future in life? I don't think so!

Sepertinya ada "pakem" kalau orang tua tidak pernah salah. Sebenernya bukan orang tua tidak pernah salah tapi Orang tua tidak mau disalahkan!. Refot bukan? namanya manusia walaupun dia orang tua, pejabat, penguasa sekalipun PASTI Punya salah.

Seharusnya kita sebagau generasai yang lebih "modern" harus menghapus "pakem" itu jauh-jauh dari otak kita. Bener-bener harus di "brain wash" deh.

Sekarang kebanyakan dari rekan-rekan seusia saya kan sudah menjadi orang tua, kita mulai lah dari sekarang, belajar say "sorry" kepada anak kita dari anak-anak masih kecil pada saat kita melakukan kesalahan. Karena anak-anak selalu mengikuti apa perbuatan orang tuanya. Misalnya saja anaksaya, pada saat dia menangis saya selalu memeluknya dan menyeka air matanya dengan sapu tangan atau tisue sambil berkata "it's ok, everything gonna be OK". Dan sangat menakjubkan, ketika anak saya melihat saya menangis, dia langsung berhenti bermain dan menghampiri saya "mami, jangan sedih ya. Ody ambil tissue ya" dan dia mengambilkan tissue buat saya, menyeka air mata saya dan memeluk saya sambil berkata "it's ok mami, everything gonna be OK". Look, betapa hal2 yang sering kita lakukan menular kepada anak kita.

so, why don't we start to learn to say sorry to our children if we make mistake. Jangan karena kita menyandang predikat "orang tua" kita beranggapan bahwa kita selalu benar. It's the biggest mistake! Trust me, kita akan kehilangan anak-anak kita kalau kita selalu beranggapan begitu.

Well, hope now you all can see that "SORRY, Is not the hardest word to say" as long as we mention it really really from our depest heart and with full of sincerity.

Don’t Drink Drive!

I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a Cashier hand this little boy some money back.

The boy couldn’t have been more than 5 or 6 years old.

The Cashier said, ‘I’m sorry, but you don’t have enough money to buy this doll.’

Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ”Granny, are you sure I don’t have enough money?”

The old lady replied: ”You know that you don’t have enough money to buy this doll, my dear.”

Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look a round. She left quickly.

The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand.

Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to.

‘It’s the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas

She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her.’

I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all, and not to worry.

But he replied to me sadly. ‘No, Santa Claus can’t bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there.’

His eyes were so sad while saying this. ‘My Sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister.”

My heart nearly stopped.

The little boy looked up at me and said: ‘I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall.’

Then he showed me a very nice photo of him where he was laughing. He then told me ‘I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won’t forget me.’

‘I love my mommy and I wish she doesn’t have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister.’

Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly.

I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. ‘Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll?”

‘OK’ he said, ‘I hope I do have enough.’ I added some of my money to his with out him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money.

The little boy said: ‘Thank you God for giving me enough money!’

Then he looked at me and added, ‘I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give It to my sister. He heard me!”

‘I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn’t dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose.”

‘My mommy loves white roses.’

A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket.

I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I started.

I couldn’t get the little boy out of my mind.

Then I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl.

The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma.

Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news paper that the young woman had passed away.

And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him.

Vandaag een nieuwe week, een schone lijn! Vrijdag heb ik de inleiding en mijn plan van aanpak gepubliceerd, vandaag begin ik met de analyse en daarmee als eerst de Doelgroepanalyse! De uitwerkingen zijn wat samengevat, om te voorkomen dat mijn posts enorm lang worden, maar de belangrijkste dingen zijn aan het daglicht gebracht.

Wat wil ik allemaal weten van mijn doelgroep?

Bij het analyseren is het altijd van belang dat je goed op papier hebt wat je wil onderzoeken, want het heeft vrij weinig nut dat je resultaten hebt waar je niets mee kunt. Daarom een lijstje van wat ik graag van mijn doelgroep wil weten:

• Wat is de omvattende naam van mijn doelgroep? Van welke generatie/leeftijd is mijn doelgroep?
• Wat zijn de kenmerken van deze doelgroep?
• Wat zijn de behoeften van mijn doelgroep?

Tadaa! Een kort lijstje, maar precies wat ik nodig heb naar mijn idee. Wat zou je nog meer moeten weten van je doelgroep als je met een bepaald idee op de markt komt? Denk je dat er wat mist dan hoor ik het graag van je!

Social Media Community is een organisatie die zorgt voor een gelukkig leven van iedereen! Het bedrijf richt zich op de basisbehoeften van mensen en er is daarom niemand uit te sluiten in deze nieuwe samenlevingsvorm.

Wel kunnen we een indeling maken in de doelgroep omdat er goed onderzoek moet worden gedaan naar de ervaringen en kennis van verschillende generaties. Daarom heb ik een indeling gemaakt in de volgende groepen mensen:

• Generatie Einstein: 1988/1985 - nu, iedereen t/m 20/23 jaar
• Generatie X: 1960- 1985, dus 23 - 48 jaar
• Babyboomers: 1940 - 1960, 48 - 68 jaar

Maar wat wil ik weten over hun ervaringen en kennis? Wat is voor mij van belang? Hoe kan ik iedereen duidelijk maken wat Social Media Community is en waarvoor het is? Hoe kan ik straks mijn website en webapplicaties zo ontwikkelen dat iedereen begrijpt wat ze doen en hoe ze ermee om kunnen gaan.

Daarvoor wil ik mijn kenmerken indelen in de volgende categoriën:

• sociaal-culturele kenmerken
• technologische kenmerken

Ook zou ik nog economische en geografische kenmerken kunnen noemen, maar voor mij is niet van belang hoeveel mensen verdienen en uitgeven of waar mensen wonen. Social Media Community is er voor iedereen; rijk of arm, wonend in Amsterdam, wonend in Bolsward haha...

Misschien zou demografisch nog ontbreken. Hmm, de leeftijd heb ik al verklapt. Wat voor demografische kenmerken ontbreken nog?

Wat zijn de behoeften van mijn doelgroep?

Zoals ik al vermeld heb in deze post richt ik me op de basisbehoeften van mensen. Deze zijn al kort vermeld op de website http://www.socialmediacommunity.nl maar ik kom hier nog op terug in de volgende posts! Ik ben ook nog steeds onderzoek naar basisbehoeften aan het doen en daarom wil het lijstje nog wel eens veranderen ;)

Ik heb inmiddels alweer 529 woorden getypt dus het is wel weer genoeg voor vandaag!

Akhirnya, saya punya juga sepatu ini... :mrgreen: Macbeth Bonham Tom DeLonge Studio Projects. Harganya sekitar 79 US$. Udah kepengen sejak pertama kali keluar waktu saya masih kelas 3 SMA (kira - kira 4 tahun yang lalu), eh baru bisa kesampean beli sekarang, soalnya sepatu Macbeth ini baru masuk ke Indonesia sekitar 2 tahun terakhir. Sebelumnya udah punya yang bonham black tapi udah diembat sama maling :| . Senengnya..... :-)

Recently one of Tony Alamo’s shills, Thomas Richards, declared me to be a Jesuit coadjutor.  I wonder what he has to say about the fact that ole Tony has his bum in a bind again?  Over the weekend I visited the Tony Alamo’s ministerial website and listened to the recording of him asking children and young adults whether or not he ever molested them.  Then Tony’s wife gives her blast about how this is all the work of the evil Vatican.  (Don’t get Thomas Richards wound up…)  Then Tony rambled on about how God tells him what he should eat and what shoes to wear.  And how well connected he was in Hollywood and how he was a professional bodybuilder and how all the movie studios wanted to make films of his kid…

Oh, I almost forgot, he also called his accusers homosexuals and paedophiles.  Not to say that these accusers are or aren’t homosexuals and paedophiles but I guess it would make Tony feel better that his accusers weren’t straight like him.

So I kinda thought to myself, “Wow!  The young ones that Tony picked out to record their testimonies all said ‘no, we weren’t molested!  Tony Alamo is the best man in the world.’  That’s it.  The Tony has spoken, I believe it and that settles it!”

Not.

Tony, if you are guilty then may you rot in hell.  If you are innocent, well, here’s some advice:  It is probably time you started to watch out who your running buddies are.  If these folks accusing you are so God awful then how did they get close to you?  Isn’t it kind of like Jerry Falwell knowing that there was a cartoon of him committing incest with his mother in Hustler magazine?  Surely it wasn’t a Christian who alerted him to this?!?

Maybe since I am from the same part of Arkansas as where the Tony Alamo Ministry has its campus and since I am such an obvious Jesuit coadjutor (according to Thomas Richards) and since the Vatican is behind all of this (according to Mrs. Alamo), then maybe I was the one who was working behind the scenes to bring Tony’s downfall?  Nah!

But wouldn’t it be nice?

Last Friday, my high school football team, the Prescott Curly Wolves made a visit to Foulk, Arkansas.  This wasn’t to visit Tony Alamo’s ministry though.  It was to beat the pants off the local football team.

How is it that you can have a photo, an about me paragraph, and hundreds of virtual friends but still miss the boat?

One thing probably nobody has told you about social marketing and social networking (that is, up until now) is that you can't just have a visual presence online and expect to be the beneficiary of overwhelming success because of some strategically placed keywords and an enviable list of hobbies.

What you do need, however, is a way to talk to people naturally to give them a taste of who you are and what you sound like. People enjoy hearing the voices of other people, particularly if that person is of interest to them or has something to of value to offer.

Sounds good, you say, but how can you get down with the crowd when marketing to them without sounding salesy?

One way is to record an audio message of yourself talking, perhaps even go as far as making a podcast, and post it on your social networking sites. Places like Facebook and MySpace give you the opportunity to share audio on your profile for others in your circle of acquaintance to listen to.

Listening to someone talk can be very reassuring, and for those being listened to, has the potential to be very profitable.

This marketing technique, when blended with public relations, can be extremely effective. Using an audio recording as part of your approach to deliver a genuine message to spur on your company, product or service opens the door to a greater sense of community and shows that you're reaching out and want to be part of the action.

What better way is there to build trust, virtually connect with others and develop a following online than to make yourself accessible using your voice, the most powerful tool in your arsenal?

You don't have worry about too much in the technology department to provide an authentic sample of your personality when recording. You can easily make a no-frills MP3 recording on your own using free audio recording software, but if you want to kick it up a notch, I suggest spicing it up a bit with some music, sound effects and even the help of a professional voice actor.

To really give them a treat, you might consider working with an internet voice talent on the recordings, perhaps even using their voice to brand your company.

Now, if you are intimidated by audio recording, production or editing (maybe all of the above), it's a no-brainer to go with someone who can look after all of it for you while adding significant value and letting you shine.

Your voice is a very important aspect of who you are, and when you're in the trenches of online marketing and staking your ground in the vast landscape of social networking, it may be one of the only things that sets you apart from competitors in the same field.

This is of particular importance if you happen to be the voice or personality at your company that is known to your customers and the public.
