but how many of us have such friends? and how many are still searching for the right one? lucky to those who have their own special friends already. for me...the search goes on...

but what if i already have one and i didnt knew it? i mean, of all the friends i know, there maybe one that understand me. hmm...

anyway, that special friend of mine must be a bit strange and weird and doesnt come out as frequently as others. strange and weird as in, from the views of others. how would my world be after i meet him or her...i wonder...

i cant wait...with all this bad things happening to me, especially friends starting to ditch me, as i accidentally and absentmindedly explode and write nonsense (nonsense to them) and negative stuff about my country, in their facebook's pic's comment area. and i attack every mistakes they made in their response. by now, im sure they are swearing endlessly and thinking bad things about me, including me being so politic...where actually i am only caring deeply, about my country and wanted to make changes.

Losing things is a fact of life. Just today I lost a tape adapter I use in my car, and I routinely misplace loose change or other bobs. During wars people go missing, and during peace money goes missing. But what other kinds of things go missing? How about ATOMIC BOMBS? Here's a list of some creepy nuclear bombs that we have seemed to misplace over the years.

Luckily, lost things usually turn up somewhere. Let's just hope these don't turn up in the form of  mushroom clouds.

Since I'm somewhat of a History buff and like to go see where History has been made, we decided to take a trip to Gettsyburg a few years ago. This Historic Town is about a 4 hr. drive away for us, but well worth it.

When we went this time, we decided to try one of those "Haunting's of Gettsyburg" walks that are given during the evening hours. The Guide takes you and others on a walk around the Town and tell's and shows where things during the Battle of Gettsyburg were, what happened there, and strange tales of what has been seen at different spots.

It was in the evening and dark when we started the Tour, and it was starting to rain. We were not too pleased about the rain, but not much we could do about that. It was very interesting to listen what was said about different locations in the Town. Places that used to be there, but are no more. Some sightings and tale's of Hauntings abound in this Town. Such places are what used to be the old Jail where lights turn on and off for no reason, Footsteps heard where their is no-one to be seen, etc.

The Tour lasted about an hour and near the end we stopped across a street where this Building was located. The Guide went on to say that this House was once a Farm House, but was used during the Civil War as a Sharpshooter's place during the Battle. Confederate soldiers would shoot across "no-mans land" into Union Forces that were a couple hundred yards away. The old Farm House still remains and so does the History along with it.

I turned and looked at the House, thinking it would be a good picture to shoot. I took this shot with a 1.2 Megapixal Digital Camera. The picture is as it was when I took it. Upon looking at the shot on my Computer here I noticed some things that are on the picture, that were not there when I took it! There are small lights at places where their was none to be seen! Small "spots" of light are at the corner's, on the roof, and inside the House that were not there! When I shot this picture there was only the street light and the light on the second floor than was showing. Where did all the other small lights come from? I can't explain the "small spots" on the corners of the Home and in the windows!

I was surprised at this picture, so I decided to send it back to the people that ran the Ghost Tour. They told me that the image shows "orbs" of energy from Confederate Soldiers that died there more than 200 yrs. ago! I almost can't believe this! However, I do believe that Spirits do and can live on among us, so maybe this just might be. Since there was so much killing there during those 3 day's of Battle, why not? Gettsyburg has a very Haunted History about it and I really do believe that with all that has happened there, there is allot of Strange things that can't be explained. You look at the picture and decide for yourself.

For as many years as I can remember, street lights turn off just before I approach or pass them.  Not every single street light, but one here and there.  I could chalk it up to an odd coincidence, but it happens pretty regularly.  Being a mathematically-minded person, I've thought about it and it seems unlikely that light bulbs would randomly go off in my presence as often as they do.  Weirder yet, it has been happening even more frequently over the last few months. 

A few days ago, I was riding my bike along my street and "poof," out goes another street light.  I just rolled my eyes.  It happens often enough where it seems ridiculous.

Meanwhile, Cremello commented a few posts ago about how another strange "coincidence" may be a sign that I should be paying attention to...something.  So, since then, I've been paying more attention to things.  I speculated about what might need my attention and so far, it seems like I'm paying attention to the right things...at just the right time.

As I rode my bike home last night, a street light turned ON just before I approached it.  I said out loud (there was no one around, don't worry), "You think that's funny?!!"  A few streetlights up, the light flickered off...and then ON just before I approached it.  I suspiciously passed it, keeping a good eye on it.  I passed it and kept looking back, but it stayed on.

Just before I wrote this post, I typed "is it normal to see street lights burn out all the time" into Google not expecting to find ANY hits.  Instead I clicked on a number of links to find that this is a common occurrence among a subgroup of people.  Apparently, it's normal for street lights to flicker off until the bulb cools down, then come back on.  That explains why it's not uncommon to see lights burn out.  But, I do think it's strange that there are so many people who have noticed the same thing.

Regardless, I'm taking that as a sign (especially since they turned ON) that I'm heading in the right direction.

Newly evolved "superworms" that feast on toxic waste could help cleanse polluted industrial land, a new study says. These hardcore heavy metal fans, unearthed at disused mining sites in England and Wales, devour lead, zinc, arsenic, and copper.

The earthworms excrete a slightly different version of the metals, making them easier for plants to suck up. Harvesting the plants would leave cleaner soil behind.

"These worms seem to be able to tolerate incredibly high concentrations of heavy metals, and the metals seem to be driving their evolution," said lead researcher Mark Hodson of the University of Reading in England. "If you took an earthworm from the back of your garden and put it in these soils, it would die," Hodson said.

DNA analysis of lead-tolerant worms living at Cwmystwyth, Wales, show they belong to a newly evolved species that has yet to be named, he said.

One day, he just walked out of his lab, and after that he's not been seen! Who knows why he did that? His co-workers told me that he had been working with that african sample, and that he thought he'd made progress, but then, all of a sudden, he packed his notes in a backpack, and left. Nobody know where, he's not answering his phone, and his mailbox is full of letters and newspapers.

Yeah, and I've been dreaming about dead, melting soldiers and knives again...

There has been no official explanation of the tool on the official YouTube blog, where most new features are trailed, but the comment section of the website is notorious for hosting some of the least intelligent discussions on the internet. Anyone posting a comment on a YouTube video can now hear what they have written read back at them, just by pressing a button beneath their words.

Here is the comic strip which illustrates this feature. It is about a hacker who creates a virus that embarrasses YouTube commenters by reading out loud back what they have written.

YouTube should be credited for having so much concern on civic values. It really made me cry. For once, I thought they didn't care a bit about what the comments are, be it hideous or shameful. But here they are proving me wrong.
