Unde mai pui ca azi era sa-mi dau si duhul pe baricade. Te duci si tu ca tot omu student la curs, iti pui frumusel halatul, socializezi cu colegii, zambesti si astepti sa ti se predea. Dar normal ca nu te astepti sa fii tu obiect de studiu. Ei, cand iti infige o tanti degetele in gat sa palpeze nu stiu ce drac de vertebra, ai pus-o! Timp de o juma de ora am fost apasata, masata, storcita, indoita etc. All in all de vreo doua ore ma pis pe mine de durere cand inghit si stau cu capu intr-o parte. In plus de asta imi inghetase sangele in vine cand incepuse sa ne povesteasca si de alta manevra de palpare a vertebrelor din zona stomacului: bagi frate pumnul pana dai de ele.

Cum frate sa pleci mutilat de la scoala?? Pai se mai merita? Adica eu invat sa salvez oameni si nu stiu daca ies intreaga dupa sase ani de studiu? Pe langa astea ma si trezesc acasa ca vroiam sa ma infig intr-un mar ca nu mai puteam de nehalita ca : aolo, eu nu m-am spalat pe maini dupa ce am pus mana pe 20 de oase de la 20 de oameni diferiti. ( ca un detaliu vizual, unele erau maro, roscate, albe, gaurite, mai vechi, mai noi, deh oase ).

Asta e oare scopul studentiei? Sa te oripileze, sa te umileasca, sa te storceasca si tu sa iesi din toate mai tare ca oricand, oricum, orice? Viitorul Romaniei se anunta semihandicapat. Eu, cel putin nu stiu daca scap din asta cu 10 degetele la maini, 2 picioare si vazand cu ambii ochi.

85% din Mona va saluta si va intreaba, la voi pe tarla la facultate, cum se vede viata?

Cadavratelul nu da nici un semn de entuziasm. Sta impasibil si pute a formol. Mona respira greu ( de la formol ).

Mona se mai chioraste odata in orar pentru a doua zi. Descopera ca are la ora 8 Marketing. Din nou se ridica unele semne de intrebare. Ce-i frate cu bataia asta de joc???? Dupa Marketing, Psihologie la mama naibii la Colentina. Mona capituleaza.

Azi a inceput facultatea. Emotii dimineata...sau mai bine zis nervi ca nu ajungeam la timp. M-am imbracat si am pornit pe usa insa... nu am ajusn prea departe...pana la trecerea de pietoni, deoarece...tocurile erau prea obositoare, si-mi mai sarise si o fatza de la unul. M-am intors din drum [nu mai sunt superstitioasa deoarece am invatat ca pentru a rezolva ceva la umf trebuie sa te pornesti de 2 ori:))]. Trebuia sa ma vad cu o colega de liceu la 12 am ajuns la 12 si 10 pentru ca ... a trebuit sa ma schimb. Ajung acolo...se tineau discursuri intr-un amfiteatru si era pus un ecran afara sa se uite tot studentu debusolat. Dupa aia cica trebuia sa avem cursuri. Am umblat peste tot, am cautat colegi, sali...am pierdut timpul de aiurea deoarece nu s-a facut niciun curs.  Spre finalul zilei , am constat ca m-am trezit la 8 dimineata de aiurea, cand puteam sa dorm pana la 12... DAR gata vacanta. De maine... ma asteapta un orar rautacios gen ore de la 9:30 pana la 19:30. Intr-adevar nu am de ce sa ma plang, ca doar eu am vrut la UMF. E tarziu, a venit timpul de relaxat neuronii. Noapte buna.

En yhtään ihmettele Parkkarin epätoivoa. Olen monet kerrat itsekin tuskaillut kaupungin asennetta ns. nuoriso- tai populaarikulttuurin musiikkitapahtumiin. Olin pettynyt ja vihainen kun Koneisto menetettiin. Koneiston tai UMF:n musiikkityyli ei ole minun makuuni, mutta tapa jolla kaupunki on vitkastelullaan tappanut molemmat festivaalit pistää sapen kiehumaan. Turulla ei ole muutenkaan erityisen hyvä maine.

Ruisrock menetettiin sekin helsinkiläiselle järjestäjälle, joka oitis - säästökuuriin vedoten - muutaman vuoden aikana muutti elävän ja vaihtelevan festivaalin parin suomalaisen (ja ehkä parin ruotsalaisen) bändin vakiokeikkapaikaksi. Varsinaissuomalaisia bändejä ei Ruisrockissa ole sen jälkeen juuri esiintynyt. Kaverin kanssa vitsailtiin että järjestäjällä on ohjelman teko helppoa: "copy paste" käyttöön ja muuttaa vain vuosiluvun esitteisiin!

UMF olisi voinut välttää suurimman osan rahaongelmista, jos kaupunki olisi antanut maankäyttöluvat ajoissa ja poliisi myöntänyt alkoholiluvat ilman lääninhallituksen väliintuloa. Syytä lupien eväämiseen ei ollut. Samoin järjestysmiesten määrän kolminkertaistaminen tuntuu sekin pelkältä kiusanteolta.

Muuta selitystä en keksi kuin kaupungin pahanlaatuinen asennevamma!

Cel care conduce Catedra este prof Bratucu, un doctor extrem de competent si un bun cadru didactic. Fiecarei grupe ii este repartizata un medic de la catedra, inca de la prima intalnire cu asistenii. Si, toti studentii sunt informati ca numai de ei depinde daca vor sa invete ceva. Adevarat.

Cursurile se tin de doua ori pe saptamana, cu prezenta obligatorie, fiecare student semnand in condica de prezenta ce se afla in biroul secretarei.

Exista un curs de 2 ore si un curs de 3 ore. Daca dupa timpul alocat predarii este mai scurd decat timpul alocat se merge la asistenul de grupa care iti arata ce are el in ziua respectiva. Nu conteaza la ce asistent te duci, nimeni nu se supara. Poti sa mergi sa vezi o colonoscopie, endoscopie, poti merge la sala de pansamente, camera de garda sau sala de operatii. Important este sa recunosti asistentul de la catedra, caci daca te duci la alti medici s-ar putea sa se enerveze.

Cursurile de la inceput sunt mai putin interesante vorbindu-se despre: antisepsie, asepsie, etc. Din temele abordate imi mai amintesc: infarctul mezenteric (se insista pe el si la examen), fasceita necrozanta, gangrena gazoana, infectii, abcese etc. Se vorbeste cam ca la semiologie medicala. Cu ceva mai putine detalii.

Pe parcursul anului se dau doua lucrari grila pe care trebuie sa le promovezi. Nota nu conteaza. Daca lipsesti la o lucrare, se stabileste o data, la sfarsitul anului, in care se reface.

Dintre asistentii care predau bine pot sa il numesc pe conf Straja. Este unul dintre cadrele didactice care isi face meseria cu placere, explica pe intelesul tuturor si chiar incearca sa ii ajute pe studenti.

Dr Daha, un alt asistent, pe care iti este imposibil sa nu-l remarci prin excesul de zel pe care il depune, nu neaparat in favoarea noastra. Stilul de predare este monoton si chiar cele mai interesante subiecte le face sa para banale. Tine sa se minuneze tot timpul de "nestiinta" studentilor.

Insa, trebuie sa recunosc ca, au fost unele momente in care l-am urmarit in sala de operatie si la pacienti si ne-a explicat destule lucruri.

Ca o remarca, in timpul unei operatii, prof. Bratucu ne-a aratat o vezica biliara cu aspect de mura, sfatuindu-ne chiar sa ne punem manusi pentru a pune mana. Multumim!

Exemenul contine 80 grile, complement multiplu si complement simplu, cu patru variante de raspuns ( parca). Grilele sunt amestecate, printre ele existand si una singura cu toate cele patru raspunsuri adevarate. Multumita dr Daha, asezarea intr-un amfiteatru imens s-a facut cu un loc intre noi si un rand liber in fata si in spate. Cei care nu au avut loc dupa asezarea asta au fost mutati in sala in care se tineau cursurile. Grilele nu sunt simple. Se trece absolut prin toata materia si cica, s-a facut curba lui Gauss. Nu sunt sigura de verdicitatea faptului pentru ca au fost diferente mari intre notele mici si notele mari. Au cam lipsit cele de mijloc.

Inca un fapt pe care vreau sa il spun este ca programul incepe la ora 8 si cursul incepe in jurul orei 10. Insa prezenta nu se face mai tarziu de ora 9. Depinde de "cheful" secretarei. In cea mai mare parte, daca stii sa te porti cu dumneaei este foarte de treaba. Dar are niste momente in care te da afara din birou. Treceti peste!

Cu absentele se rezolva daca mergi in garzi sau dupa program. Iti iei o hartie pe care treci data in care esti si pe care o sa ai parafa si NEAPARAT semnatura asistentului. Intrebati-o pe dna secretara daca s-au schimbat regulile. Se pot face pana la 4 absente pe semestru si se pot recupera oricate. Nu au fost probleme sa nu intre cineva in examen din cauza absentelor.

Unii asisteni mai dau cursurile pe stick, calitatea lor nu e exceptionala. O sa vedeti ca, nu au continuitate. Dupa ce ajungi la jumatatea sem 1, ti se preda un curs ce si-ar fi avut locul in primele ore.

ps: examenul este de an, nu se da partial! Cei care in anul universitar 2008-2009 sunt anul 3, nu mai fac chirurgie.

This semester looks like it is going to be a continual adrenaline rush, especially up to the elections, but what is life without challenge? What doesn't kill you make you stronger, and clinically insane.

PS - No reports of coyotes eating freshmen, yet...

I was in the student center until about 11:45pm last night, and I left at that time to go back to Dakin. I was walking down Lincoln street (the street that is between the education center and the dorms and turns left in front of the gym), when I saw it. I was on the left sidewalk walking in the direction of the gym, and I was at the point where if I was on the other side of the street, I would be before the stairs going up into the side door of the education center. When I noticed what I thought was a dog at first, it was crossing the street from my side towards the parking lot behind the education center. It was in the shadows when I first saw it, so I though it was a dog originally. Once it stepped into the illumination from the lights between Dakin and Lockwood however, I quickly questioned my original conclusion. What I saw looked to me more like a coyote then a dog. I don't believe it had a collar on, but that was hard to determine. But it had a trot like gait, not like most dogs I have ever seen. It also had blotchy-gray fur which was very un-groomed and bushy. The other fact that makes me believe it was a coyote was that the second it saw me (and I was not moving at that time) it bolted in the opposite direction, even though I was a couple hundred feet away. It was extremal fast a agile, and I don't think a domesticated, or even "wild" dog would be so scared of humans. After it ran behind Dakin, I ran up over the hill and saw it running in circles around the grass in front of Black, once it saw me again it charged as fast a possible away, and I didn't bother pursuing it further.

Today I told my boss about it, and she said that see lives in town and has been hearing coyotes howling for the last two nights.

Hard to believe, another fantabulous day here in Maine today.  I've told my kids that September is going to be hot and sunny since August has been such a wash.  Of course they will be in school so I'll just have to fill them in on how nice it was outside that day!  Six days until school starts!

Fall is coming, the leaves are already starting to turn in some stretches along the roads.

I love driving down the back roads and seeing all the farmstands along the road.  Growing up in the suburbs of Milwaukee, farm stands weren't something I saw - more like bakeries and corner bars!  Yah Yah Milwaukee! 

Tomorrow is the last day of camp for Junior Mint, one last drive to UMF.  Today was a rough one, they went bowling and then gave each child four quarters for the arcade - my guy hearts the arcade...never wants to leave...has a meltdown if plucked too soon.  Guess who cried the whole ride back to camp? 

I'm so thankful for the students and staff at UMF and the Autism Society of Maine for collaborating on such a fantastic experience for our family - right when we needed it the most too.  Camp Summit will be on the calendar every year until Junior Mint turns 15 (or they kick him out!)

Off to the kitchen to put together a little sumpin' sumpin' for our counselor, she was fantastic!  I'm thinking some Rosemary Mint Sugar Scrub outta do it, and a nice thank you note too!

The week that passed was very exhausting at work and I didn’t have the energy to do half the things I had planned. One of which was to post my riveting run down of UMF-festival that took place ages ago. I bet you’ve been on the edge of your seats! I don’t know whether or not it was the fatigue, but I reached a severe level of gloom on Monday that culminated on Sunday so I was a bit off track the whole week. I slept a lot during the weekend so now I’m looking forward to a more productive week. Yeye, let’s get to it.

UMF was, as I suspected, fantastic. On Friday we arrived at the festival in time to catch M83. As one of the headliners they played the bigger stage of course, but I would much rather have seen them up close than from behind a fence more than 10 feet away.

The rest of the evening was spent in the New Judas tent dancing, drinking expensive beer, dancing and then dancing some more. I picked the worst dancing shoes ever made in the history of shoes and got really painful blisters on my heels. This I was able to ignore because I had the best time watching Obi Blance, Les Gillettes and Huoratron. I regret that I saw too little of Downtown, though. I had especially been looking forward to Huoratron’s gig for some time so when he came out I was completely ecstatic. His set was amazing. Everyone went crazy and it was total madness. It was like being in the crowd at a hardcore show. He has managed to merge the rawness of grind core with psychotic electronic music in order to create a truly innovative sound. It's like party grind (lol). Huoratron could make any Nasum-fan get out on the dance floor.

Obi Blanche's set was really great as well. He is the laid back rock star of the New Judas family. He played a great set that was really intense and mellow at the same time. Later in the evening all the New Judas artists came out and started dancing around on the stage and taking turns playing. At one point Obi Blanche jumped down from the stage and started dancing, it was like one big party. He's got a new EP coming up soon!

On Saturday I went over to the festival area in the afternoon in order to catch the Helmi Levyt showcase. When I got to the Helmi Tent Muuan Mies was already playing. Unfortunately I only heard four songs but it was nice to see him play live anyway. I really liked his direct way of singing, witty lyrics and folk aesthetics. He is strikingly Finnish, in a very pleasant way. I didn't, however, appreciate him getting up on the stage later on praying and reading religious texts. I thought that was a bit out of line.

I have to mention the DJ/announcer who played excellent songs in-between sets. His record collection of classic folk/rock-music was impressive and he created a really relaxed and serene atmosphere. I felt so calm and right at home. After Muuan Mies it was time for Joose Keskitalo ja Kolmas Maailmanpalo, which was one of the must sees on my list. Joose Keskitalo is one of my favourite Finnish artists. It's not easy to describe charisma but Joose Keskitalo definately has it. This was the second time I saw him live and again I was as amazed by his strong stage presence. He can stand all alone on the stage with only a guitar and captivate you from beginning to end. I think what makes him such a convincing performer is the sincerity and honesty that shines through. He is a stand out story teller, singer and performer. His music reverberates the Finnish melancholy.

In order to make the kind of music Joose Keskitalo makes you have to be completely honest with yourself. You have to know who and what you are. I’ve always been impressed by people who have this kind of genuine quality to them, who are honest with themselves. This is also why I'm so drawn to folk artists and singer/songrwriters overall; there is no room for superficiality. When Joose gets up on that stage you can tell that he wants to share his songs with you, he doesn't just want to play them for you. Everything he says comes from the heart. When you see him perform you can see it in his eyes that he wouldn't lie. I think you can tell if an artist is on the stage for the spotlight or because of a need to share something with other people. Joose shares his life with you and to be in his audience feels like an honour.

Säästöpojat stood for the best stage show of the night. It was the most bizarre and fantastic thing I've ever seen live! Säästöpojat wore only stragegically placed garlands of flowers, a man dressed in only a pair of strings ran around with a plastic bag wrapped around his head like a Lucha Libre mask, a maid walked in and out of the stage lighting cigarettes for Säästöpojat and what not. Then suddenly a woman who looked like a lunatic drunk came out and started making crude gestures and running around looking like she was having a seisure. At one point she put can of whipped cream to her crotch and sprayed it all over a cup cake that a maid had put down almost right in front of me earlier, I'll leave it up to you to understand the symbolism involved in that. I sat there with my mouth open the entire time and couldn't believe my luck. I've never experienced a more exciting show and I only mentioned half of the things that went on there. Oh yeah, the music was great too.

Kivaa oli, ja jonkinlainen nollauskin kai tuli tehtyä kun perjantain työpäivä tuntui niin etäiseltä sunnuntai-"aamuna". Festivaalialue: Kello 14 -> jotain parilla esiintymispaikalla, Peitsamo kello 15. missään ei viihtynyt hyvin, vaikka bisseä tulikin juotua tuon Pahat Viinit-setin aikana ja ihan hyvät sessiot oli heillä. Sitten kello 16 jälkeen eksyi taas tohon areenalle jossa Peitsamo ja Paha Viinit-setti oli: Johannes Rojola ja Paneman Panoy veti tosi hienoa showta, pakko jäädä katsoon pidemmäksi aikaa. En katsonut kuitenkaan loppuun, tuli jano ja siirryin seuraamaan runoutta. Sitten kello 17 oli niin tylsän oloisia settejä että kävin syömässä festarialueen ulkopuolella jotain pienempää. Kello 18 aikaan oli aika vaisua menoa, taisin tuolla X-Rustin teltan suunnalla viihtyä parhaiten. Rotterdam Gabber Fyhrer oli siirtynyt illemmaksi.

Kello 20.30 tai sinne päin: Juho Kahilaisen setti. Mitä vittuu? Suomi-iskelmää (hard?) house-biitein. Mä joka päivä..., kuurankukkia, ikkunaprinsessa, sitten jotain muuta, sitten taisi olla vielä ainakin Peggy ja lopuksi jotain Nurmioo. Peggyn aikana kävin vilkasemassa dnb-puolen settii mut palasin aika pian takasin. Sitten Timantille, välillä nestetankkausta (joka sitten epäonnistui illan loppua kohti, alko väsyttään). RGF piti tsekata mutta en sitten viihtynyt kun 2 kappaletta, takasin taas tanssaamaan dnb-puolelle. Lynxiin saakka jaksoin, tankkasin nestettä, lissää tanssausta. Blu Mar Ten ei sitten jaksanut enää kiinostaa, tai hyvää settiä vetivät mutt ei vaan jaksanut. Tankkasin lonkeron, katoin hiukan Kris Menacen menoa ja suuntasin kello 2 kohti kotia.

Ens vuonna sitten perjantaiksi kanssa ja sunnuntaiksikin ehekä. Töissä seuraavana maanantaina joku kysy fiiliksiä ja harmitteli ettei päässyt paikalle töiden takia.

EMPITRII

It’s medicinal purposes are due to it’s contents of hydrogen peroxide formed in a slow release manner which can vary in different honeys.

Manuka honey is a different form of honey which is gathered in New Zealand from the Manuka Bush which grows uncultivated throughout the country.

This honey has been known for years by locals and is now being scientifically proven to be far superior normal honeys for it’s antibacterial properties. Though even after 20 years of research scientists still have no idea of exactly what it is, though has been tested an labelled as it Unique Manuka Factor.(UMF)

UMF is tested scientifically by testing the UMF of the against standard antiseptics such as carbolic and phenol for it’s ability to fight against bacteria.

An active honey with the UMF of 10+ has a potency equivalent of 10% phenol

An active honey with the UMF of 15+ has a potency equivalent of 15% phenol and so on.

This past Saturday Les Gillettes came to town and completely took over! It was total madness and I had such a great time. My back is still aching from all the dancing. I probably made a fool of myself but when I think about it, do I actually care? Nah, it was so much fun!

Thanks to the the forces behind HITTO who arranged this. I really enjoyed the Hitto-dj:s set as well!

I really like the dark and gloomy electronic music buzzing around in Finland. I think New Judas is harbouring the best electronic artists at the moment. That dirty and twisted New Judas-sound is insane and I love it.

You will have a chance to see all New Judas-artists perform at the UMF-festival that will take place here in Turku incoming weekend (July 25-27). You’d be wise not to miss this if you're in town. The bigger international names on the line up this year include M83, how about that! The program is packed with a lot of interesting Finnish artists as well, mostly electronic but there is also some folk and a lot of experimental stuff to be found. You should watch out for significant representatives of the contemporary Finnish acoustic/folk-scene such as Joose Keskitalo and Muuan Mies. It's going to be so much fun and I can’t wait!

It's fun to realize that there's a whole generation as much in love with C64 as I am, and this love is unconditional, even if the games weren't that fucking great from the start.. You had like a 1000 games and only a handful was worth playing.. But the experience, my gawd the Xp!

One game I loved and hated at the same time was Nemesis the Warlock. First you had to pile all the corpses of the enemies you killed into a stack, which you then after hours of piling had to jump on top. And then when you reached the next stage of the game (you had to "jump" up to it) you're welcomed by a mountain falling straight on your head, followed by a Game Over. I never figured that out, I just stayed on the first stage slicing knights until I finally died.

The chip tune/8-bit/sid scene is something extraordinary, as nostalgia and my love for a heavy bass and synths combines it becomes something marvelous indeed. Videovalvontaa creates the coolest 8-bit electro evah, they even knock out noobs like Crystal Castles, seriously.. The peeps over at Videovalvontaa where kind enough to send over their songs and let me share the magic.. Be sure to check 'em out at UMF in Turku in July, I'm sure as heck will, I'll be the one passed out behind Dynamo.

On an early snowy Friday morning, six students from UMF, accompanied by their instructor, took the forty minute drive to Dirigo High School.

Luann Yetter and students from her Bob Dylan First Year Seminar, visited with Mrs. Wolfe’s Senior college writing class. Yetter said, “We are definitely there to get the students acquainted with college writing.”

Yetter began by speaking to the seniors about how her class and college writing classes focus on doing more than one draft and focus on revision. She said, “We have the attitude that it is not just the writing we focus on. We try to show students they need to put more time in.” The focus was to use the lyrics and that there was no right or wrong answer.

Bob Dylan’s early songs in his career, “Blowing in the Wind” and “When the Ship Comes In” were played for the students. They were then paired with a UMF student to discuss the song lyrics and their relationship to one another and the specific words used. The Dirigo students were assigned an essay of two to three pages on the two songs.

Brianna Janke, Dirigo Senior, said, “I’m going to talk about how they can twist into one another, with the theme of the wind.”

Both UMF and Dirigo students did not really know what to expect from the visit but were excited.

“This visit allows me to use what I have been learning and share it. It is not every day you can talk about Bob Dylan,” UMF student Becca Roy said.

Dirigo Senior Ashley Merrill said, “This was really new. I didn’t know what to expect. It helps you to know what it’s like in college.”

Conversations between the college and high school students did not just consist of Bob Dylan’s song lyrics or college writing. The high school students also asked questions such as, “When do most people do homework?” or, “Do you have to take a physical education class?”

Yetter has been involved with the Nellie Mae and the Gear-Up grants and used to take UMF students to Dirigo Middle School, but never to the high school. This year she contacted Shirley Austin, the head of the English department at the high school and found Wolfe’s class on college writing fit in best with the visit from the college.

Yetter liked the experience at Dirigo High School and said, “It’s fun to be in the high school now.”

Both Wolfe and Yetter said the trip was successful and would definitely like to see more involvement between college and high school students. Yetter said, “It’s something we will try to do at least every spring semester. It’s harder to do in the fall because we don’t have as many breaks.”

Although they will not go back into the classroom this semester, Yetter’s Dylan class will continue to communicate with Wolfe’s Senior English class, editing drafts of their papers that were assigned the day they visited.

Wolfe said, “This is my first time working with UMF and I look forward to what is in store for the future with UMF’s involvement.”

Ziua tumultoasa a alegerilor a fost continuata si luni 11 februarie cand ziarul Cotidianul a publicat pe prima pagina un articol cu titlul 'Alegeri pe blat la medicina bucuresteana' unde se anunta o publicare a listei castigatorilor cu o jumatate de ora inaintea alegerilor lista confirmata 95% la finalul acestora.Articolul mai face referire si la nominalizarea doamnei Prorector Conf. dr. Monica Pop la titlul de Profesor Universitar, CV-ul doamnei fiind in neconcordanta cu regulile Invatamantului Universitar.

Nu cred ca se poate exprima cineva cert in privinta acestor articole dar trebuie sa fim constienti ca cei mai afectati de certuri, invidie si concurenta neloiala o sa fim tot noi studentii si daca istoria ne-a invatat ceva putem sa spunem ca nu exista fum fara sa fie foc. Pana atunci sa uram succes noii conduceri a Facultatii de Medicina si sa speram ca isi va urma planul propus.Bafta multa tuturor pentru ca stiu ca este sesiune!

Cotidianul continua Cruciada impotriva establissement-ului de la UMF Carol Davila, prin noi acuzatii potrivit carora alegerile recente ar fi fost masluite . (Update: intr-un stil retoric poate prea cuminte, Liviu Avram comenteaza in acelasi jurnal vis-a-vis de minunile de la UMF) Sa mint ca m-a mirat? Ma cunoasteti dara ma bine.

Mi-am adus aminte de trei momente complet disparate ale vietii mele in facultate. Unul a fost in anul III. Celalalte doua parca in anul V. Sa incep cu primul.

Lucram la Catedra ca asistent preparator si ocazional editor de carti pentru Editura Davila, Medica si InfoMedica (cred ca's doar doua totusi, in fine). "Lucrat" e mult spus, dupa orice standard in zilele noastre era un "voluntariat" din care eu imi primeam bani pentru carti fara vreo intelegere prealabila, dar aveam acces la orice ora in Catedra daca vroiam sa invat, si puteam sa predau. Imi placea suficient incat sa nu-mi pese de bani.

La asta ajunsesem in urma unei discutii la inceputul anului II de facultate, cand doctorul L. a venit la mine, m-a inghestuit intr-un colts in timp ce tragea cu nesats dintr-un Kent 100 si m-a intrebat, zambind a mere paduretse: "Ia zi, bai, vrei sa fii sef de serie?". ..."Nu"...."Da de ce bai Gabi, de ce, ca uite la tine esti destept, nici n-ai intrat bine in anul II si-ai publicat o carte, lucrezi la alta, dom' Profesor are nevoie de oameni destepti ca tine" (n.a.: dr. L avea, in fapt si de fapt, ...nevoi). ..."Nu, domnu' doctor, nu ma bag, ca nu-i de mine". "Grupe vrei?"...."Da, mi-ar placea". "Bine mah, uite ti-o dau pe 13, ca pe aia n-o ia niciodata nimeni, ha ha".

Si-a plecat.

Eu mi-am vazut de grupa 13, intre timp a venit vremea de care va ziceam in alta parte de m-am iubit cu o evreica. Eh, evreica asta avea un tata care era bun amic cu Balaceanu-Stolnici, care era bun amic cu domnul Profesor Dr. V. , care era si mare patron de cultura in "literatura medicala de circuit intern". In anul III, partenerea mea, D., mi-a dat ghes sa candidez la sefia de "serie", pentru ca erau auspicii (spusese tata-su, care vorbise cu V., care era amic cu BS) sa intru in Senat. Sef de serie, la vremea aia, era M.

Alegerile cu M. s-au desfasurat pe urmatorul principiu. S-au adunat "colegii" in amifteatru la Farmaco., apoi noi ne-am dus la SSM in birou, unde era o pupaza care avea machiaj verzui la ochi si fuma ...bineinteles..Kent 100. Am fumat si eu un Kent 100 in timp ce scriam cu M., in caractere diferite si cu caligrafie diferita, un numar de voturi care sa-l scoata pe el castigator. De ce faceam asta?

(cu 15 minute mai devreme): Dr. L veni la mine si ma inghesui, ca de obicei, in coltisorul intunecat de la iesirea de la Anatomie I. Bai Gabi, nu e bine ce faci. Ce fac? Noi avem niste aranjamente, dom' Profesor stii ca nu se are deloc cu I si C., si Ciomu' ala iar si-a luat lumea in cap. Pai si? Pai si ti-a luat evreica mintile, bah? Ce te bagi tu la SSM? Ce vrei tu de la SSM? Lasa-ne, dom'ne in pace ca avem treburi mai importante. Nu ti-am dat grupe? Ba da. Pai si nu-ti place sa ai grupe? Ba da. Pai vezi ca esti destept? Hai cu mine.

...Impachetam la voturi, in timp ce imi pierise sangele din obraji. M. a iesit castigator. Toata lumea a fost surprinsa. Sau nu. Mi-am tinut grupele anul ala, pentru ca le luasem. Mie inca imi rosea obrazul. Mi-am scris restul de carti. Dar a fost ultimul an la Catedra.

Apoi la o vreme am ajuns la Cantacuzino. Motivul pentru care-mi aduc aminte de Cantacuzino e pentru Boji, cu care am facut GE, si profesorul Stoica, mai nou decanul UMF. La Stoica la cursuri adormeam pe banca, si A. langa mine ma ciupea de pulpa ca sa nu sforai. Lucram de noapte la Realitatea, trei sau patru nopti pe saptamana dar ma duceam la Stoica la curs pentru ca era un super-prof. Super-prof, probabil, si ca Diculescu de care m-am luat mai antzartz, si probabil cu acelasi "bagaj" de publicatii stiintifice intoarse din condei. Nu stiu, sa nu vorbesc cu pacat. Boji in schimb era un deliciu de om, mereu in graba, mereu in priza, mereu competent. Am vazut cazuri geniale impreuna cu el, are pentru totdeauna admiratia mea ca om. Toti il iubeam. Eu eram deprivat de somn. Astfel ca i-am tras o data o retorta care mi-o dus buhu' prin serie. Erau saloane mici, trebuia sa ne inghesuim sa vedem cazurile. Eh, si la un astfel de salon nu stiu cine a intrat, si l-o pocnit pe Boji in freza.

Mai si Boji avea o freza creata, argintie, si i s-o miscat paru' intr-un anumit fel. Pe mine, nedormit de 3 nopti si cu ochii precum mucegaiul verde-albastrui, m-a pufnit un ras incontrolabil, rasul ala nervos, obosit, nesimtit, dar foarte candid. Boji s-a uitat la mine, la care mie mi-a scapat intre oftaturi si hincote: V-ati luat-o in freza, domnu' doctor. Omul a intepenit, colegii mei si-au tras rasuflarea, eu am iesit pe culoar ca sa imi rad nenorocirea in voie. Doua luni mai tarziu, plecam de la Realitatea.

....

Eram la Ortopedie-Traumatologie, la un dom' profesor pe care il poreclise B., "Hirsutul". Avea bonetica alba si par pe loburile urechii, un accent care invariabil ne propaga in spasme de ras infundat, era pedant pana in varful halatului apretat, si conducea o sectie unde mai era un specialist in prostetica, un schizofren, si alte cateva persoane de calibru intermediar.

M. a venit intr-o zi la mine. "Auzi, tu mai lucrezi la Realitatea?". "Da, de ce". "Pai am un subiect pentru tine". "Nu cred". "Huh?". "Nu cred, eu lucrez la Externe, deci daca nu esti israelian sau palestinian, nu e treaba mea". "Nu mah, stai, ma gandeam ca poti sa vorbesti cu aia de la tine, stiu eu cum merge treaba". "Aha.". "Bai, incearca astia sa ma infunde". "Cine incearca sa te infunde?". "Astia mah, Senatul, SSM-ul, e groasa, si am nevoie de o polita de asigurare". "Hai mah, lasa-te de goange, pe bune". "Bai, deci am hartii, am dovezi, astia imi pun in carca 20 de mii de dolari pe care zic ca i-am furat, si sa mor io daca i-am furat. Uite, a fost o treaba cu Patrimoniul, cu Caminele, si noi am luat drept de patrimoniu asupra lor, si p*!a mea, stii ca io am fost sef la SSM vreo cateva luni, si baietii lu' Mihnea s-au suparat pe mine si m-am trezit cu gaura asta, si astia vor sa ma scalpeze". "Da mah, bine, asa, si ce vrei de la mine?" "Pai, Gabitsu (huh?), ma gandeam ca daca e sa stii ca o sa te sun io, si tot ce te rog e sa vorbesti cu un reporter, si o sa-i aduc eu hartiile, sa stii".

....

Nu s-a intamplat. M. nu a venit cu hartiile. La TV nu s-a auzit despre gaura de la Patrimoniul UMF. In fond, ce inseamna 20 de mii de dolari intr-o maree de fericire? Doar un strop de vitriol. Iar eu vorbisem cu Zarescu, omul era in mare verva.

Ma uit cu compasiune la omul de la Cotidianl, Razvan Mihai Vintilescu. Domnule Vintilescu, chapeau! Eu nu mi-am bagat mainile in baliga asta, eram student, visam din anul I ca am sa plec din tara aia de cacat, si intre timp ce-am adunat, povesti la gura sobei, reflecta de la un punct si lipsa mea de interes. Interes sa ce? Sa dezvalui?

Sunt povesti, povesti la gura sobei. Uneori le invoc precum fantome in fumul de tigara, toate personajele fantastice pe care le-am intalnit. Mintea mea refuza sa proceseze ca acesti oameni existau. Si totusi au existat. Sunt autentici. Am trait cu ei.

Am trait. Cu ei.
