• my vlog topic was kinda boring (HR),
• and I decided that the best way to cure my anxiety was to snuggle with my poonchie kitty.

Maybe the trick to successful vlogging is to talk about my cats & then segue into HR??

Ultimately (and I don't often say this, because I'm superstitious and neurotic and like to operate in a constant state of anxiety), it's been a great week. And I'm so grateful to everyone who has looked at the Sarah Palin vlogs and at this bloggeringses. I'm particularly thankful to everyone, from big news outlets to wee Wordpress blog-havers like myself, who linked to or reposted our vlogs. You made Diana and I very happy ladies.

And she has some nice things to say about her #1 fantasy guy, Mr. Wolf Blitzer, as well as some choice words for Mr. Keith Olbermann!

After I got some work done there, I went to McAlister's Deli for the good food and free-wifi and I got more work done.  Woo hoo for me! 

Most of the work, however, in both of these locations revolved more around getting reading done and internetz stuff.

When I got back home in the afternoon I knew I wanted to sit down and type up the revisions I had been working on over the last few days but I couldn't connect to the internet.  After much yelling (yes I yell at appliances), calls to my husband, searches via my Itouch (cause the router etc was working) I had to give up and take a chill pill till hubby could get home. Long story short, I might have been able to fix it but I had lost patience but still Vista is annoying because it used to be when you used a PC vs a MAC part of what was fun was customizing it and being able to fix things on your own. Now Vista is just not as user friendly. It is not intuitive.

But that is me babbling. The vlog included here is me rambling on a bit, in my half-remodeled bathroom, about poetic influences.  More detail mabye in the future on that.

Compressor was doing something weird at the end there where it went out of sync. It's not like that in the timeline, but I couldn't seem to fix it when I compressed it several times. Oh well, at least it's at the end!

I just spent an hour sitting in front of the TV flipped to CNN waiting for Alex Albrecht's interview. . . only to find out that it was on the CNN.com livestream. Damn! Well, at least I got to hear about Sarah Palin for once. /sarcasm

Since I first started watching Diggnation a month and a bit ago I have been catching up by watching from the more current eps (Episode 165 being the newest) to the oldest (Episode 1). I've been steadily watching around 1 to 3 episodes per night, and am proud to announce that I am now on Episode 56. I've skipped the "Best of" eps for later, but I have still watched over 100 of them!

Now that September has arrived the weather here has been frigid at best. It seems that the Earth thinks that summer is over for us, but it should at least have some pity since we didn't really start summer until mid-July. We had nice 29 degree weather last week, and then as soon as September came around it immediately turned to rainy or cloudy 12 - 19 degree days. Let's hope it's just a phase and we get at least one more week of nice weather before the leaves start changing and Autumn makes its not-so-eagerly-anticipated (by me) return.

On another note:  I have been working on my newest endeavor, alongside one of my websites, but requiring a different process of creation.  Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you "Get Smarter!".  It will be a mocumentary of college and post college life.  The stories and situations I am gathering are from video blogs (vlogs), regular blogs, and of course experiences of my own and my friends all that relate to the general topic and will teach a lesson of some sort.  My inspiration for this stems from the video we shot for my class about a year ago.  Before I start shooting I need to think this out properly.  The videos are going to be displayed on YouTube as well as a subdomain of frankmcdade.com.  

ALSO.  I am working on installing a wiki on to frankmcdade.com as well.  It's going to be interesting.  Hopefully I can complete the majority of the material I have in my head soon so I can continue on other projects that I have in store.

I have stumbled upon those that take a photo of themselves every day for a year.  A 365.  The thought of this intrigues me but I am not sure if I would be consistent enough to keep up with it.  I'm still debating.

Hello all...  how was ur labor day weekend?  My was not soo great.  we were working on our yard and house before robert's parents come back home soon.  on monday we worked on the yard, getting the house ready.  well everything pretty much died on us, lawn mower died near end when we almost finished mowing, the weed whacker i used died, Robert was gonna move his parent's van out of way for when the parents come back with their motor-home but the van died from sitting tooo long, our microwave broke down today, cuz of our storms, it may have messed up the circuit, it was doing weird things like running on it own or won't start when we push the buttons.  wow what a heck of day we had.  did u ever have days where everything just break down on u?  thanks for watching my vlog...
