Then I remember my google-reader and get overwhelmed how many blogs I've added to this service, how many posts the count is up to, and then I go do some laundry.

While on vacation, no - while on the drive BACK from the holiday to the neighborhood, I was writing in my journal about all the fun things I am inspired to do!     I must be more disciplined to ACCOMPLISH and get the mosaics COMPLETE.  DONE.   I want to get back to scrapbooking.  First I must re-organize my craft room.    I want to sew.   I want to design or take apart a few dresses and recreate in other more fun fabrics!     I have curtains to hem and hang that have been patiently waiting for me for 14 months now.    I have a camera that I really should sit down with the book and understand what the thing is doing (at those times when I get the display chart and can't get it to go back to 'next photo ready' aim.   I always turn it off and turn it back on.  sigh.) 

And, now, I have so much to do today that is just life stuff.   laundry, groceries, my volunteering - I've got 4 appts today.  TODAY!

Freitag hatten wir ja schon Furor Winterfrost gelegt.

Gestern dann noch Anetheron (und ich war dabei als unsere Gilde den zum erstem mal im Staub gesehen hat *spring* ) und Kaz´rogal hätten wir mit ein wenig mehr Zeit auch am Boden gesehen. Der war ja nu gaaaanz neu.

Hach ich fands toll und bin stolz auf unsere Gilde das sie / wir immer ein kleines Stück weiterkommen.

-Battlefield Heroes - Un shooter de exceptie, gratis, multiplayer si care se vrea a fi acceptat si de calculatoarele mai vechi, mai putin performante. Apare in vara asta, si o sa fie mai tare ca CS care deja e PLICTISITOR... Nu inteleg cum lumea inca joaca asa ceva, nici nu stiu cum de eu mai joc asa ceva ocazional... :))

-WoW - Wrath of the Lich King - Desi nu sunt un mega fan WoW, sunt totusi un fan, asa ca astept cu nerabdare ultimul wow :D Talente noi, lvl maxim 80, etc :D un fel de burning crusade nou :))

-StarCraft 2 - Dupa mai mult de zece ani de la StarCraft Brood War daca nu ma insel, apare StarCraft 2. Mai e ceva de zis? Daca o sa fie al doilea, cel putin la fel de bun ca Brood War, probabil o sa il cumpar si pe asta original :))

I was walking around Goldshire when I see a yell "2 people are having sex at the Goldshire inn!". I am sorry I didn`t take screenshots but me and 4 other players ran inside the inn to see. Funny thing on RP servers the inns are full of people laying in beds, sitting at tables, etc. Probably they leave the char to the inn for an unexpected AFK unlike other on normal servers that park their characters on every rock or place where mobs don`t respawn.

On the bed there were a night elf druid lvl 20`ish and a human, without items of armor or weapons, in bed. I have to say that was the most akward thing I ever saw in a game and I felt like intruding but I sat down on the chair in the room next to the big bedroom on the 1st floor of the inn. The 2 lovers were disturbed by me and the other 3-4 people, some started jumping on the bed too.

The sex scene turned into a party, with armor on, thank God, people were dancing around and chatting in /say. I decided to get into some Roleplay, what the hell, so I counjured muffins and servred everyone. Funny thing is people started eating it and complimenting, asking the recipe, etc. After 15 min I got bored of hearing a gnome whine about his raggedy clothes and seeing the same dance over and over so I excused myself saying I have chores to do in the kitchen`s inn so I left the room.

Conclusions and advice:

• Sex in game is disturbing and weird. I read some articles on WoWinsider about an erotic roleplay guild that got disband by Blizzard. Is that sick or what? How do they even verify the age of the members? Have cyber sex on chat programs, not in a damn game! What`s wrong with people.
• Even if you come from a non RL server and want to see how RP is (like me), obey the server`s rules and get into character. You don`t need to think of a whole elaborated background story for your character, but if one asks about yourself, say something in the lines of "I am [name], born in Ratchet, a small harbor over the sea, my father was a pirate and my mom worked as assistant in a goblin`s store" not "My name is Madalina, I`m 24 years old and i`m from Romania". Also take care about what you write on General Chat, don`t talk about everyday things ("Do you like the new iPhone 3G?", "Have you seen the movie "Wanted"?"  because that can get you reported for being out of character.
• Roleplay is NOT for me. It is fun for 10-15 minutes but after that I get bored. I saw people walking around, heck, I think my 280% flying mount is slow sometimes, not to mention walking.
• No clue how raiding goes on RP servers. Do they raid RP style? This raises some problems when doing the same instance over and over again. "But wait, didn`t we kill Supremus last week too? And the week before that?".

I`d love to hear some thoughts from people that roleplay more seriously :)

Und außerdem wurde ich hier nicht nur von meinem Liebling begrüßt, sondern auch von Rehgar Earthfury. Ich habe mir hier von Kuma diese total coole Ork-Figur bestellen lassen. Und er ist so genial! Er ist etwa 15 cm groß und ultradetailiert. Auf seiner Brust hat er eine Narbe, dargestellt durch feine Linien. Den Wolfspelz, den er auf dem Kopf trägt, kann man abnehmen und auch die Klaue (... Waffe... whatever) ist abnehmbar. Oder besser gesagt: musste zusammengesetzt werden. Mit Loch im Arm sähe Rehgar doof aus. Der Rock und das Klimbim das dranhängt ist fexibel. An den Ellenbogen hat er Schaniere, aber das stört kaum, obwohl ich ja eigentlich keine beweglichen Figuren mag. Mir gefällen besonders die Nähte am Rock und der Vogelschädel. Und die bereits erwähnte Narbe...

einfach genial! Mal schauen ob ich mir noch mehr von der Serie anschaffe. Der Troll und der Nachtelf sahen auch recht cool aus, die meisten anderen haben es mir nicht so angetan. Das Foto ist leider nicht so tolle, aber Hauptsache man erkennt ihn.

So, wo ich grad dabei bin von meinem Ork schwärme gehe ich mal direkt über zu WoW. Ja, ich spiele World of Warcraft. Meine Charaktere liegen größtenteils auf Kargath, wo ich in der Gilde Seelenfeuer bin. Mein Hauptchara ist inzwischen lvl 51 und steht zurzeit im

Un'Goro-Krater rum. Es ist eine Blutelfen-Jägerin (siehe Bild) mit Namen Otoria, die neben ihren Pets Spárda (Scorpid) und Shibari (Spinne) auch noch einen halben Zoo (Manawyrmling, brauner Hase, rote Motte, meine geliebte Sau Dr. Wackel und einige mehr) mit sich rumschleppt. Daneben habe ich noch ein Paar andere Charas, aber die sind kaum erwähnenswert. Meine Philosophie: Charaktere unter lvl 25 sind nicht wichtig.

So, jetzt zum Schluss gibt es noch ein Video, natürlich auch zum gleichen Thema. Es geht um das Lied I am Murloc von Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftan (l70etc). Mir gefällt es echt gut, vor allem mit dem Murloc-Sounds. Und der Blutelf sieht sehr genial aus. (Es stört mich ein bisschen, dass das Video so groß ist, aber kleiner krieg ich es nicht... Wordpress ist da doof.)

Downed Shade first try, only 1 death :)

He didn't drop any caster gear (I haven't seen any caster gear in any instance for 3 weeks)

Downed Illhoof, no sweat. We chose to just DPS down Illhoof and only have our offtank on his minion, which worked really well. Didn't even have a death, after wiping on him *multiple* times last week.

Did chess event. First tiime I'd ever done it; wow, it's really a lot of fun! Finished it first try.

On to Prince we went, rather confidently. First two tries were good (we kept ranged DPS by the door and ran behind that corner to the left of the door for Enfeebles), but I forgot to put my hit rating gear on. Oops. ^^'

I gotta admit, I really like the fight, despite its being so difficult. (1M health? That's more than any other boss...justified, I know, but still, it was quite a shock at first!) We did excellently for going into the fight not having done it before as a guild.

Third try, we did rather well too, but were still wiping around 40-50%. And that's where we stayed for the rest of the night.

Great job to all--Mymichelle, Zerlan, Fingan, Detlo, Wackko, Sinithos, Galistul, Nathanielle, Reanimator, Nightscraper, Raiseplz...went really well tonight :)

Oh, and it's proven now--<Neo Imperela> is so leet that we can have out-of-combat wipes. :P Right after Illhoof, on the way to chess, we were pulling the Spell Shades out onto that wooden platform...right before we pulled, Nathanielle accidentally backed off the ledge, Mymichelle levitated into some trash mobs to try and rez him, and Zerlan jumped down/died/ankhed in order to rez. Good times. :P

I'm within 2 badges of my new trinket--Icon of the Silver Crescent--now, which is nice! Also ran 3 instances today (2 partially) in order to get my shiny new Kara key! Now I don't have to wait for Raiseplz every week, lol.

I can't do Kara next week, sadface...I gonna be out of town during most of the week. Good luck to our raid team.

Still working on the druids with Sinithos; we're both at level 21 now, and doing really well. Working through Hillsbrad right now. I gotta admit, healing as a druid is really fun, and definitely offers more variety than paladin heals.

There I was attempting to get a group for steam vaults because I am working on Cenarion Expedition Rep and all that we could scrum up was a group of three hunters. There was a priest around but they refused to join any group that didn’t have an existing tank. I only needed a ¼ bar of rep to fall over into revered and get my helm enchant.

Though some bizarre circumstances I eventually ended up in a group for Underbog (as I had one unfinished quest there), with a group of 61-65’s. Still no tanks – so they are all “can your pet tank?”

Group make up: 2 priests, 1 warlock, and 1 mage and me (everyone but me is lvl 61-65)

Well I have been on LFG for 4 hours by now and farming strange spores has gotten boring. So I reply “well he lacks the talent a real tank has, but eh we can give it a shot” and I pulled the carrion bird outa the stables in the hopes the extra armor & screech would help (left my PVP gear on too for the extra stam) the level 62 mage has a small fit and leaves the group (his loss it turns out.)
We end up with another level 70 warlock o_O (wasn’t sure why another lvl 70 would be wasting time doing UB with a bunch of pug lowbies but who am I to question … being 70 and doing UB with a bunch of lowbies…) – so off we go with the carrion bird tanking trash in UB.

Group make up is now: 2 warlocks, 2 priests and me, a hunter with a bird… heh. (2 lvl 70’s)

A little opinion on pet tanking an instance at such a high level:

• Well none of the other toons had omen – as it wasn’t syncing with any of them. And they all let fire as soon as the bird made contact with a mob which made it a little difficult to keep the aggro off the squishy cloth wearers, especially if they tapped an add instead of the mob with the big red arrow over its head. Screech helped to some extent.
• Keeping track of the birds interaction with mobs meant I was doing a number of tasks, tanking, Pet heals, DPS and CC – I wasn’t really up for this … I believe if I was going to make a habit of it (all that talk about pet talent trees and speccing pets as proper tanks) I would need a bunch of addons and macros to make the job manageable.

So we clean the starting cavern of pats and bog lords. About this point one priest discos (haven’t even hit the first boss and I am feeling the pressure of too many roles.) I can visualize disaster a ramp walk away… and I wonder why do I agree to these suggestions of madness? Is it Curiosity? Boredom? Over confidence? Slap happiness?

Group make up has become: 1 priest, 2 warlocks, and me O_O

I notice the Pally has logged in and is doing his dailies over on the Isle of Gank as we know it in our guild. So I do a little groveling because frankly I can’t handle the heat (I have a vivid imagination, it is already at the wipe), the Pally agrees to come tank for me before this bizarre group suffers a wipe and starts screaming pet abuse at the hunter :p. The Pally is really going outa his way for me here because he don’t need this backwater instance. We summon him in and it is like my best buddy has arrived… the Warlock is right – you really can’t beat a pet Pally. (I feel rather lucky to have a tankadin & a tree as a part of my regular wacky wow group.)

Group make up: 1 priest, 2 warlocks, the Pally and Me (thank god I am not tanking now! … we are now 60% lvl 70 for UB on normal O_o)

We wipe out two bosses nice and fast when the level 70 warlock suddenly proclaims that he thought he was in heroics (with a level 61 priest? o_O strange boy) and disappears. Now I have finished my quest, but the Pally & I, well we are soft touches with good group ethic, so we agree to run the rest of the instance – seeing as we are half way through.

Group Make up: 1 priest, 1 warlock, the Pally and me (1 man down)

At some point the priest gets us to summon in her lvl 63 Proc-paladin friend who completes the rest of the instance with us.

Final group make up: 1 priest, 1 warlock, 2 pally tanks (no tanks to 2 tanks bloody weird day) o_O and me.

No wipes, all bosses down. A real song and dance PUG … bah it was a low level affair and I though it would be pretty straight forward *oh a lvl 70 dps yay - make sure you don't pull aggro & lets go* :p - but this is typical of what I have experienced in pugging normal instances lately.

I'm of two thoughs about that rumor about real pet tanks:

• woot a tank finally!
• dear god you want me to dps, cc, mark, pull and now tank? Just shoot me it would be kinder.

[Pause for Pally joke "You know what you need? A bear that heals! ... oh wait that would be the druid eh - cackle]

We need someone to do a rewrite of that old song "I need a hero" and replace the word man with tank where ever it pops up, something like:

Where have all the good men TANKS gone
And where are all the gods? To handle all the Mobs?
Where's the street-wise Proc-Specced Hercules
To fight the rising odds?
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery freebie steed?

Interesting comment from the Pally during the run, apparently being over-geared for the instance was rather bad for him as he gets his mana from heals and he needed to take damage to be effective – he said something about downgrading his gear if he had to ever do anything like it again… will try to make him write a post about it so I can link to it.

Frankly /salute guildies who are bloody reliable compared to the general public … though the little level 61 priestess was a goer :) .

I suck at goals.

But I'm back, and I came armed with excuses!  This is why I didn't post:

My inlaws were in town.  I love my inlaws, they're great and I enjoy having them and all houseguests.  I swear - really, I do.

But whenever I have houseguests I lose my office.  The computer is in the office and it doubles as our spare room.  We used to keep the computer (okay, a computer, not the only one) in the big living room, but it was hard for my husband to concentrate on his WOW.  That's World of Warcraft for those who don't spend a lot of time staring at the back of the head of their significant other, or who "don't have a true appreciation...." as my MIL would say.  Apparently it's more difficult to play make believe swordfighting and questing (and smelting and pretending you can fly from continent to continent astride a half bird, half lion creature; hence my nickname of "Eaglebutt" for the entire game) when there is cooking, tv, a child, and other domestic things rudely going on right in front of you.  At any rate, the newest computer moved to the office, where the door can be shut, the light can go off, and it is easier to play a game in peace.  The old computer joined the second and third oldest computers in the closet.  And hence, I periodically cannot get at the computer due to houseguests or a really long swordfight with a slimy sloth demon.

I do not have a true appreciation.

So Nana and Papa came to visit, fun was had and many picture books were read to little Nathan, who is going through some sort of language explosion and demands that books be read constantly.  Like over 50 a day.  It's lucky for him that Nana came when she did, since Mommy needed a break before she through herself under the wheels on the bus that go round and round.  I actually took the books and put them in a closed cabinet, partly so that the dog would stop chewing them but partly in hopes that there might be a little out of sight, out of mind benefit.  Instead my son gets up, gets dressed, and before even getting a cup of milk in the morning goes directly to the bookcase and hurls his entire body weight against it, screaming.

"Fishy.  Fishy.  FISHY. FISHY FISHYFISHYFISHY. " which, when translated means:

"Good morning, mother.  Before we begin the day with a glass of milk or a banana, I believe I would like to set the tone for our breakfast by reading the pithy underwater classic Hello, Fish by the lovely and talented Lucy Cousins."

Thank God Nana came.  I told my mother about their visit and not to be outdone, she immediately booked airline tickets for September.  Mom gets antsy if she hasn't seen the grandkid in a few months, and the inlaws live nearby the other grandkid, so they are more patient.  I expect my parents will visit more frequently since the both retired last year.

Anyway, expect more soon and be sure to comment and tell me how you deal with the WOW widowhood, or handling your kid's favorite book or toy obsession.  Or even how to deal time fairly between the grandparents.

Your background sets up your character's story. It's where your character comes from, and often describes what motives your character's actions. But it's infinitely helpful to define more about your character than just the time the Horde ravaged your family and wrecked the estate, and maybe talk about...how he feels about children, or the summer holidays.

This is our youth store room. Actually I have turned a blind eye to the mess for many weeks, I shuddered to think of the long and back-breaking hours to pack the room. I consoled myself with words of comfort from some person: mess and youth go well together so it's normal to have mess. I also rationalized: It will be messy again so might as well leave it as it is. Coming from me is difficult as I like things to be neat and organised.

Until I tripped over something.... which was not difficult to see why.

Sheryl and Fiona were kind enough to agree to help me clear the store. Really appreciate their willingness and servants' hearts.

Within that 3 hours, we

- removed dead and live bugs with sticky tape (Fiona's expertise).

- did a floor plan (Sheryl's expertise)

- threw out 3 (or 4?) trash bags of junk

- found our wick snuffer!

- sorted and put back stuff into their original position

- tried out pens/markers to throw away spoilt ones / filled 2 baskets with maggi cup noodles/ bundled up camp t-shirts etc

....and found that we are all allergy sufferers. Such irony; to be packing a dust/bug/mould infested room.

But the end result has been very satisfying. Wonder how long it can last before the mess starts forming again. Normally it will take a year, evolving from this to organised mess - ruffling mess - confused mess - hurricane mess - one BIG mess.

Perhaps we should start escorting people into the room.

Someone mentioned that WoW is like Everquest (Ever-crack). An addicting, self-indulgent videogame where one can be what they want, and how folks have wasted away playing it. Well., if that's true, I'm about to give drugs to a person in rehab!

ie Story spielt ein Jahr vor dem Beginn unser aller WoW-Erfahrungen. Die entscheidende Schlacht gegen die Brennende Legion liegt drei Jahre zurück  drei Jahre, in denen das Bündnis der Horde und der Allianz keinem gemeinsamen Feind mehr gegenüberstand, drei Jahre, in denen die beiden Fraktionen eher zurückgezogen voneinander weiterlebten. Die Versklavung der Orks durch die Menschen ist noch lange nicht vergessen, und die beiden Rassen sehen sich immer noch  oder schon wieder?  mit starken Vorurteilen.

Lady Jaina Proudmoore von Theramore und der Kriegshäuptling Thrall versuchen, das ehemalige Bündnis zwischen Menschen und Orks aufrecht zu erhalten, während einer der übrig gebliebenen niederen Dämonen versucht, den Keil immer tiefer zwischen die Rassen zu treiben, und dazu eine geheime Organisation  das Flammende Schwert  auf beiden Seiten wieder ins Leben ruft und neu aufbaut. Die Geheimorganisation greift um sich, umgarnt gar Personen die den beiden Führern sehr nahe stehen und droht, die Fraktionen in einem erneuten Krieg gegeneinander auszuspielen.

Neben Proudmoore und Thrall, diesen beiden aus dem Spiel doch sehr gut bekannten Persönlichkeiten, spielen unter anderen auch die ehemalige Wächterin Aegwynn und deren Historie um Medivh, die Tirisfalen sowie Sargeras und einige andere bekannte Namen eine größere Rolle. Mehr wäre leider ein Spoiler, und das möchte ich Euch doch ersparen.

Meine Druidin wird vermutlich die letzte Möglichkeit sein, die alten Questgebiete noch einmal zu erforschen. Grund genug, sich damit auseinanderzusetzen, warum die Gebiete (z.B. Dämmerwald) so sind wie sie sind. Dies scheint jedoch mehr Thema der Warcraft - Reihe zu sein.

*Teufelkreis* konzentriert sich komplett auf den Konflikt zwischen Orks und Menschen, andere Völker kommen kaum vor, was im Falle eines *Elfenmagiers* vielleicht auch besser so ist. Auch dass Karazhan im Rotkammgebirge liegt, war mir bis jetzt unbekannt, vielleicht hätte sich der Autor und / oder Korrekturleser ein wenig mit der Materie beschäftigen sollen. Überhaupt Orte: Wieso werden in einem deutschen Text die englischen Bezeichnungen genommen? Schlecht geschrieben ist das Buch ebensfalls, ich habe wirklich nicht Marcel Proust erwartet, aber ich denke, es ist der schlechteste Buch seit langen (wenn ich Lovecrafts Dextren Ward-Erguß einmal aussen vor lasse).

Das Buch selber lässt mich mit mehr Fragen als Antworten zurück:

- Warum bekämpft man Nielas Aran in Kara?
Laut Buch haust dort Medivh (nebst Hausdiener Moroes), welchen ich eher zu den Guten zählte, da er den Orks Zutritt zur Welt verschaffte. Deswegen erscheinen in HDZ2 im überigen auch die ganzen Hordies zum Schluß. Nielas Aran war aber Hauszauberer des König von Sturmwind, was nichts schlechtes ist. Vielleicht geben die weiteren Bände der Triologie Aufschluß.

- Wer sind Guldan und Sangeras, es scheinen Oberdämonen zu sein, mehr wird nicht bekannt.

- Ist Thralls Befreiung in HDZ1 die aus der Sklaverei der Menschen oder wurde er noch einmal gefangen genommen?

Insgesamt kein wirklich tolles Buch, ich hatte mir mehr über die Hintergründe der WoW - Geschichte versprochen und bin enttäuscht worden. Immerhin weiß ich jetzt, dass es einen Dämon names Zmodlor gibt - Wissen das die Welt nicht braucht.Allerdings werde ich mir beim nächsten Angeln die Feste Northwatch näher ansehen.

With Jewelcrafting you can produce:

-- Socketable gems (These are used for improving socketed items and it's new feature of TBC).

Looking at the Jewelcrafting list makes one thing obvious - it can produce nice items for lower level chars. Many of produced items have nice stats and can be Jewlecrafting usefull up to level 30 (after level 30 the dungeons will provide better items). And end-game? Producing gems to improve socketed gear is something really, really good.

Your leveling of Jewelcrafting will need lot of mats. Good news is that up to level 300 you are fine with mats found in Old World, for levels over 300, you will need mats found only in Outland. Your Jewelcrafting level is also involved in your possibility to use Prospecting (mining is still a must since you cannot Prospect non-base ores).

GEM cutting is another skill of Jewelcrafter

-- you simply get a gem

-- The appropriate recipe

-- Simple Grinder (Trade Goods from vendor).

Meta gems have a cutting cooldown (1 hours) - There is NO cooldown when cutting Uncommon and Rare gems. And the different recipes allow you to perform different types of cuts (Brilliant, Gleaming, Thick, Rigit and Smooth) with different stats result

So lesson learnt (again) don't stand on the pyramid structure and order an attack :p - interesting standing too close to the pyramid has a similar result every now and then (aye we played this game for a good five minutes until I stopped laughing.)

Thanks a lot to my Mentor Raphael Mack . and Josm Dev people for bearing all the silly mistake and i will try to lower the rate of doing so in my next parts .

So I guess part 1 of my project is complete ... is it ??? bugs ??  . Any bugs will be handled later on .. need to shift to part 2 as i am getting behind schedule .

Bugs : Currently cancel or close buttun if pressed closed JOSM too ... Will be reloved in next part when cancel and execute button will be handled properly.

Next part will be :Direct GPX Upload from JOSM

Need a lot of work out here .. so will take time ... I will be uploading the plugin soon some where ..

Da WOW so ziemlich mein zweit Zeitintensivstes Hobby ist, gibts natürlich auch hier immer mal wieder kleine News ^^

Zur Zeit kann man sich für Beta Keys für WOW's Wrath of the Lich King anmelden. Wird dann random ausgelost wer die Glücklichen sein werden. Und da hab ich mich natürlich auch gleich angestellt, da ich ja nicht mehr raide hätte ich ja die zeit zum Testen. Also mal Daumen drücken :)
